Posted July 30, 201113 yr This is my latest large scale creation (in fact, it's a bit over minifig scale). I'll be displaying at BrickFair in Chantilly VA next weekend. clickr fer flickr.
July 30, 201113 yr As a huge fan of diners, both in Lego and the real world, let me say that this is easily the best one I have ever seen! The details are stunning, especially the door and corner window, and you've captured the era perfectly. Blogged on Brick Town Talk. Edited July 30, 201113 yr by sonicstarlight

August 1, 201113 yr Beautiful work. You've nailed the classic diner look. Love all the curves, but my favorite part is by far the sign.
August 1, 201113 yr That's the moc I chose to post my 100th post ! I like the tent , the lower "brick" section and the sign the most.
August 2, 201113 yr Author I've posted several interior shots to my flickr stream: http://www.flickr.com/photos/72543544@N00/ As a huge fan of diners, both in Lego and the real world, let me say that this is easily the best one I have ever seen! Thank you! So much character jam-packed into such a tiny diner! Beautiful work! Yes, I try to economize with a concentration of detail and a conservation of space. Thanks! Thanks for your compliments. Great work! Looking forward to seeing this in person. I'm pretty sure I'm going to brickfair next weekend, but not 100%. Definitely try to be there for at least two or three of the public hours. It could even inspire you to become an exhibitor in the future - you have some really nice iconic fast food establishments in a more compatible scale! Excellent Diner MOC 'oo7'. The detailed work and SNOT techniques are fantastic! Great job on this build Thanks. Beautiful work. You've nailed the classic diner look. August 2, 201113 yr Brilliant design! You've even got the kitchen vent fan on the place! The interior is out of this world, you really nailed it with the stove and sink area. Such a beautiful design. Outstanding work!! Edited August 2, 201113 yr by 22kane
August 20, 201113 yr There are so many awesome and unusual techniques used in this MOC! It looks very realistic and I love the "BIG" in the sign.
August 21, 201113 yr Simply stunning! The slightly larger scale allows for more detail and you have taken full advantage of that! Most excellent!!!
August 21, 201113 yr I already saw this MOC when you first posted it in your flickr stream, but I still wanted to place a comment here. I think this MOC is just fabulous. The colours and details are great. On one hand, it's kind of sad that it's a big too big for minifigs, but on the other hand, the added scale allows for greater detailing, which sets this MOC apart from others. Maybe you could build a downscaled version of this fit for minifigs ?
August 21, 201113 yr Thats fantastic, one of the best things i've seen in a while. Congratulations on building such a great MOC :) I love the amount of detail in there, mmmmm wish it could be mine :) Edited August 21, 201113 yr by ryanfitton
