Hi - i have been scouring the entire forum for a review on the above set. i wanna make use of the current lego offer on free shipping and order some hard to find sets (not sold in my tru, target, walmart, kmart stores). i was thinking of getting this one for my boy who was very eager to get this set. just wanted to read the opinion of others who have gotten this set before i order.

if someone can point me in the right direction...that would be great.

I think this is one of the best fire set ever *wub* !! I truly love this set which has everything: a cool truck with a moving ladder, the thingie carrying the dark grey Zodiac boat and plus the great firemen MF with the silver helmet !!

You should definitly get this set, ist that obvious ?? :-P

well, i didnt get it from lego s@h. amazon also has it and it also ships for free. thanks for the opinion. wished there was a review i can see though. ;-)

I confirm that it is a very good set: great design, good accessories and addition with the Zodiac and yes, the silver helmet is so wonderfull! a must have one IMO!

I have two of these myself.i combined both sets to make a larger cab to fit both fire fighters, and a larger trailer to fit the raft and more equipment. Defently the best fire truck lego ever made.
