Governor Mister Phes Posted August 1, 2011 Governor Posted August 1, 2011 Does anybody have the Windows version of LEGO Pirates of the Carribean: The Video Game? I have two problems. 1) How do you save the game? Autosave does not appear to be saving and I can't find any manual save feature. I got as far as the beach before the game incoveniently crashed on me! I thought it would at least save at the beginning of each new area, but no, I have to start right from at the beginning. 2) How do you bypass the animated sequences? Ok, for the intro video you press U and it skips, but there seems to be no way to bypass the in-game cut scenes. I've tried pressing every button but nothing... I have to watch the same thing over and over! I've looked at the wafter thin manual, the electronic documents on the game DVD, the official website, gaming websites, and there is no information! So does anybody know how to overcome these problems? Quote
Holko Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 (edited) I have the windows version, too. 1) The autosave saves at the beginning of each level. Yes, if it crashes, you have start it again. I know it's annoying but you'll get used to it. But if you manually exit the level, it will save all the goodies you've collected so far. (money, minikit, compass...) 2) If you start a level for the first time, you can't skip the cutscenes. but if you play them again in story mode, just press enter to activate a small message which says (for me) 'Skip(D)', just like at the intro. Hope this helps! Edited August 1, 2011 by Holko Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted August 5, 2011 Author Governor Posted August 5, 2011 Thanks for the information Holko. It's annoying having to play a whole level before I can save. Really I don't want to play the game for that long in one sitting. Quote
