Why worry about frequency when you can tell them apart by feel? (Excepting, of course, when they're handed out by the cashier or something.)

I'm not 'worried' about frequency. I don't mind doubles, as I use the parts. However, even if you do feel the packs, knowing the frequency might help you anyway.

And we're off again!

I managed to snag a full box from TRU today as they were just doing a major restock - they had approximately BILLIONS of the Series 6 figures...

So I got three full sets

An extra one of: Space girl, Leprechaun, Skater girl, Flamenco dancer, Alien and mechanic (one of whose hair will be devoted to Lego Elvis...)

And an extra two of the Minotaur, Highlander and Bandito

All good - plastic does in some instances feel a bit cheap, especially in the accessories.

The Statue of Liberty and Robots are just brilliant though - will be replacing at least one Liberty with yellow head and hands to make a 'person in Statue of Liberty fancy dress outfit'

Since they are capable of putting print on the sides of the legs/arms, why can't/don't they put printing on the back of the legs to avoid the "thong" issue. I agree, the Roman definitely needs a cape of some sort.

Otherwise, the figures in the "flesh" look amazing. Much, much better than just in picture form.

I think that'd be harder to do than the sides of legs and arms thanks to the "holes" in the backs of minifig legs.

I have to say, I'm not liking how the Roman looks. I think he should at least have a cape (not hard to do on your own, but still...). Anyway, I don't mind too much because I didn't really like him a whole lot to begin with. I like it when everyone else's army builder fig isn't the same as mine. :D

Lovin' the surgeon, the sleepy head and the genie! I'm confused about the space woman's head! Her lip color looks different in pictures: in some it looks light blue, in others pale pink, and in these one they look silver/gray!:sceptic:*huh*

No matter how good you are feeling the contents, if there are no aliens in the available bags, you won't get one.

When you say gladiator/warrior do you mean the Roman soldier or the highlander chap?

Good to see three full sets in a box.

So, let me get this straight: The most uninteresting figs get back printing, but the ones who could really use it, such as the Roman and Highlander, don't get any?! How disappointing. Oh well, these are all still very awesome figs, so I'll let it slip, but I would really like to see back prints on all the figs in the future.

Nice to see that the Sleepyhead has a sleeping face, and that his teddy has an anti-stud.

Why are so many asking for a cape for the Roman? He's a Legionnaire, and those usually didn't have capes, only centurions and other superiors did.

To be honest a gryffindor cape can be added if you want to see how it looks plus lego have given the option to add plumage though what one that already exists would be best I have no idea? :cry_sad:

I can also confirm something that people have conveniently left out: they are still GBP 2.00. Thankfully we haven't been hit with a price rise - yet.

Strange choice of language...."Conveniently left out".

To be pedantic they are £2.00 in TRU, £1.99 in WH Smith High street and £1.95 in John Lewis. It is good they haven't had a price hike though.

Okay, but given the rumours since the last series (and if I remember correctly, increases elsewhere) I thought it was important - more so than "lol". I also had no idea they were showing up at John Lewis apparently, so good times all round.

Anyhow I think Lego's right on the money with the distribution this time, although there are quite a few desirable and parts that are going to be harder to accumulate as a result (the sleepy guy's hairpiece, the robot's key and perhaps the butcher's cleaver for example). The Leprechaun, surgeon, robot and sleepy guy have grown on me.

I'm very wary of John Lewis just now(Im in Glasgow) On wed they had the new ninjago and friends out on display and were selling them. Not any more, they seem to be having a mini clearance today.

They had the minifigures behind the till but they allowed me a "rummage" and Im fairly confident I have near the full set after buying another 20. Ill find out once the boys come back. Strange every other series Ive collected at a reasonably leisurely pace, the early xmas release has spurred me to try and get them all asap. Maybe thats the marketing mans plan lol

Oh, just wait to see what retailers do about that.

Thank you!

You wouldn't be intrested in trading would you Silentmode?

Come take these other Minotaurs off my hands.

Those three minifigs are good to ones to have 5 each in a box.

Agreed 100%. :sweet:

It's so disappointing but not surprising to see three Roman soldiers per box. At least there are 5 highlanders. I really wish they would put 5 of the obvious army builders in these boxes. Hint to lego: if a mini figure is a soldier, it is probably a good candidate for a larger apportionment.

Of course I know it wasn't an accident but still kind of unfortunate in my opinion.

Still, I can't wait to get these in the NW US. I'm sure I'll get all the Roman soldiers I need, it will just take a little longer.

At least the other two "soldiers", the minotaur and highlander are 5 per box. I'm just glad they didn't make the Statue of Liberty five per box. While it's a great figure, I don't know what I'd do with more than one.

Glad to see 5 Minotaurs and Highlanders in a box, and 4 Aliens. Those will be the main army builders for me. I don't mind that there's only 3 Romans, I'll probably only get a few anyway. I hope these come to the U.S. soon!
