Aanchir Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Hey does anybody have any ideas when series 6 will be released? Given its appearance in the retailers' catalog for 2012, I'm thinking January 2012 as an official release date, and certainly no later than April 2012. If its official release date is in January then certain retailers can be expected to carry it in November or December this year in order to take advantage of the Christmas rush. Quote
LandShark Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Hey does anybody have any ideas when series 6 will be released? I'm pretty sure that it'll be sometime around January 2012. Also, SilentMode, you're making an army of Female Skateboarders, but putting the Legionnaire's in the reject section? Quote

Mr. Elijah Timms Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 In all honesty, I'm not sure yet. You just want to outfit your Redcoats in skinny black jeans and a studded belt, don't you? Quote
SilentMode Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Also, SilentMode, you're making an army of Female Skateboarders, but putting the Legionnaire's in the reject section? It just means that right now, if I came across more than one of the Legionnaire, I wouldn't keep the extras. Quote
Sirens-of-Titan Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 I'm having a hard time seeing the grainy details of the picture, if anyone has a decent quality picture and can PM me, it would be very much appreciated. From what I can tell this will be the best-selling series yet; not one of these is a throw-away, and I think that Lego really did a good thing in diminishing the amount of sports figures in the series. The history forum will be buzzing for many months to come with Roman and Greek themed creations thanks to this series! Quote
CtotheP Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 It appears that LEGO wants to put out 2-3 series per year for the next few years.....I'm assuming Series 6 is shortly after Christmas, and 7 will be at the end of Q2 Quote
Brickmamba Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Was talking to a lady early this week who does the orders for Lego at Myers and she said Series 6 will be released around Jan-Feb next year It's funny how lip tight she was about the release, she would'nt even hint on what was in the series... Cave Bear Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Oh dear.. there goes all of my money again... But hey centurion Im hoping its gonna be easier to find than the spartan. Quote
jth781 Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 LEGO you continue to outdue yourselves the minifigures keep getting better and better keep up the excellant work ! Quote

Hopefully, series 6 will be there in not too long. Quote
nausicaakro Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 In italy series 6 will arrive in january Sadly the roman soldier will have a standard lance (like the spartan) instead a new mold pilum :-(( Nausicaa Quote
Fighter of Frizzies Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Are the catalog pictures the same as preliminary ones that we just saw? I just didn't know if they offered any new changes (for example, giving the PJ kid small legs). Quote
Laura Beinbrech Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Definitely interested in the Alien, Robot, Genie, Highlander and Minotaur (I need some Beastmen to flesh out my Hordes of Chaos), and possibly the statue of Liberty for the sand-green head (can you say "Female Orc?"), although I might just pick those up on BrickLink... I might also get some Bandits to add to my ever growing horde of Wasteland Raiders.... Quote
Yucca Patrol Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Flamenco Dancer. Absolutely unwanted. I will get the usual 2x. Love it! You don't even want it at all and yet you'll buy two of them! Quote
Itaria No Shintaku Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Love it! You don't even want it at all and yet you'll buy two of them! One goes on my shelf with the other ones, and one is disassembled for making custom minifigs. It has unique pieces. For me 2x is the minimum buy. Shin Quote
Sid Sidious Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 The genie is definitely one of my favorite minifigures LEGO has made. Pearl gold hands. Quote
LandShark Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 This site lists '8831 Minifigures Series 7' for pre-order. No pictures (they don't have any for S6 yet, either), but it's good to see they're still at the same price. Quote
Dark Knight Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 (edited) Hi all I am not sure if anyone has posted this. The picture of full 16 figs of Minifig Series 6! http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/benlamhh/News/legomf6-d.jpg Taken from: "http://www.bricktuts.com/tag/lego-series-6-minifigures/" Edited October 12, 2011 by WhiteFang Removed deeplinked preliminary image Quote
WhiteFang Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Yes, it was there quite awhile ago, but due to the preliminary status, I will have to remove the deeplink. Quote
Aanchir Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Hi all I am not sure if anyone has posted this. The picture of full 16 figs of Minifig Series 6! Taken from: "http://www.bricktuts.com/tag/lego-series-6-minifigures/" Could you change those "img" tags to "url" tags? Eurobricks doesn't allow embedding of images with a "Confidential" watermark on them. Anyway, this image was mentioned a while back (there was a larger version on Flickr very briefly) and is our main source of info for many of the Series 6 figs. Some figs that "escaped" the LEGO production facility in China have been seen in actual photos even before this image emerged, but as of yet I believe this image and variations on it are the only places the flamenco dancer, pajama guy, nurse, toy robot, and Roman soldier have been seen. 1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Just completed my series 1-5 CMF collections. It's truly great to appreciate the beauty Lego has created with this theme. I just love these minifigures and I can't wait until series 6 is released. It will very likely be my favorite series so far. Hopefully my college applications will make time more bearable. Quote
Fred Daniel Yam Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 I haven't read all 35 pages of the topic, but the Brothers Brick recently put up a post of both series' 6 and 7. I really want that Roman Legionnaire! Quote
Rufus Posted October 15, 2011 Author Posted October 15, 2011 First post updated with the latest picture! Quote
