I just got the Lego US January 2012 catalog and series 6 is scheduled for January 9th release. The price is still at $2.99 so no price increase. Was there a price increase elsewhere in the world?

I'd help if I knew how to add to the map.. d'oh..

You will need a google account to sign in. After that it's as easy as hitting the "Edit" button, Right clicking to add a Placemark, name the placemark and hit Save. Piece of cheese slope!

I guess you don't need a roll out map any more? As I see lots of places already have them in stock. =]

WHSmith, Lego Stores, etc.

Yes we totally do! These have not hit anywhere else but the UK. I know to start looking when they hit the US, and Canada gets them around a week or two later. The other maps before this were updated really well. Let's keep it up!

The lego shop says 2,5 eur per bag for series 6, and the series 5 shows 2,20 eur old price, now 1,76 eur.

So yes, price has been increased atleast in the Finnish online lego shop.

And as I earlier posted, some stores will be raising the price from 1,99 eur -> 2,29 eur.

Interesting enough, the US Toys R Us website has these prices:

Series 3: $2.99 (out of stock)

Series 4: $3.49

Series 5: $2.99

Series 6: $3.49 (not in stock yet)

It seems non-Lego stores can set whatever price they want. Strange pattern. Will they sell Series 7 for $2.99?

Does somebody know if these have been relesed in europe yet or is it them same date as US? Series 6 is going to be the best series so far easily. :classic:

Well thanks to Silentmode, I now have a Series 6 minifigure, the Space Girl. And wow, she is just 100% amazing. LEGO has done a really great job with the printing, and I think she's probably the best minifigure price wise, as she comes with so many parts.

apologies if this has already been blogged, but noticed that the "pot of gold" that comes with the Leprachaun has two raised dimples on the neck of the pot - that allow the "bucket handle" (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=95344) from the recent PotC and Kingdowms sets - to clip on !

:)

sorry of that's old news, but I was chuffed !

I didn't know that so thanks for sharing! I know I'm going to pick up several copies of the Leprechaun mostly for that pot!

My local LEGO store was supposed to get them in last Friday, but it didn't arrive in the shipment so it'll be another couple of weeks. :-(

But strangely, none of the TRU's have them either. Normally they've got them out way before LEGO has them. But I have seen the mark-up in price so I'm going to wait for the LEGO store to get them, especially considering how many extras I want.

I'm going to check out my local Fivebelow store today-- they had Series 5 out before any other store I saw locally, so hopefully they have them early again.

Update: Nothing yet :(

Well, a couple of quick phone calls to my local TRU and Learning Express yields some unfortunate results: TRU isn't planning on getting S6 until February, and Learning Express doesn't even have them on order yet. :sceptic: It looks like there's a bit of distribution problem with this series.

Another problem is that I'm afraid TRU is going to sell it for $3.50 instead of the MSRP of $3 (rounded up a penny there). But maybe they'll change the price listed there when they start selling them.

Maybe. My TRU has been selling S5 for $3.50 for a few months now, but they started out as $3 when they first got them. Hopefully we'll at least have a small window of opportunity without the TRU markup.

At last i found series 6 in my local shop, as i expected Roman soldier was easy to find. Too bad there is no back printing on his torso and lorica segmentata armor is just a printing(lovely printing by the way) not an extra piece but still it looks great, espiecially the helmet.
