yys4u Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 @Canada_7 haha! Oops sorry. @tytus sorry again, I meant all the LEGO stores, I heard from someone on Brickset that TRU might not get them till February... Don't know for sure though. Quote
Perry the Platypus Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Minifigures Series 6 being shipped to the LEGO Store tomorrow... can't wait to get my hands on these first. Quote
Lego_Hero Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 I just picked up 19 at the Target in Tyler, Texas. I thought I had a complete set plus extra Romans and minotaurs, but I goofed and mistook an alien's gun for the Genie's lamp. There seemed to be two boxes worth on an endcap at $ 2.99 each. I didn't know the alien's eye came out a bit from the head. I'm glad I got the extra. Though this marks the last complete set for me. I could have done without a few of them in favor of more extras. Theo Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Who's that Leprechaun guy? Anyway, I really like the surgeon, very useful minifig... Quote
DaleDVM Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I looked back 5 pages but could do no more. Does anyone know the distribution of figures in the case yet? Quote
dark1san Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Just was wondering, I know my local TRU has not gone short on Series 5 of the minifigures, and I'm hoping they don't with Series 6, but has anyone else seen that their TRU has had tons and tons of the newer Series compared to what they had with the first 2? Quote
vexorian Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Same is happening with my retailers. It is probably because they figured these minifigs sell like hot cake. So TLG increased the offer and retailers keep ordering them. Quote

So TLG increased the offer and retailers keep ordering them. Me too. Series five is the first to be offered at one of the local wal-marts and my TRU has four boxes on the shelf. By the way, needing that Genie to complete my collection- anyone know where he is in the box? Seems to me in at least one series the box distribution was uniform. That sure would save me time looking for one Genie. Quote
CM4Sci Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 wal-marts four boxes on the shelf. During the holidays, I visited the Walmart in Minocqua, WI. They had 12 boxes, and four Series 3 boxes. -Sci Quote
krystalKING Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Me too. Series five is the first to be offered at one of the local wal-marts and my TRU has four boxes on the shelf. Same here, I really think Walmart went overkill in my area, I mean, is thirteen boxes not enough? On the other hand I picked some fantastic deals, they had all the 2011 spinner on sale for $3.40! I managed to pick up Garmadon, Zane, and Wu. Quote

They haven't had any since Jan 1st. Wonder why they haven't restocked yet. Quote

I hope that the situation of having so many Series 5 on the shelf doesn't cause some Walmarts to not restock with Series 6. I've seen this happen with action figures. They stock way too many of one wave. The store never sells enough and with so many already on the shelf the store does not stock anything new coming out for weeks and weeks. Here is a picture of what a local Walmart had on the shelf about a week or 2 before Christmas. Each box you see had another full box behind it. I counted 15 boxes. Two of my local Walmarts have 16 boxes on the shelves, another two seem to have two out at all times. I keep hoping they will go on clearance or something as well to clear the inventory. I'm hoping Series 6 will be as widely available. Edited January 9, 2012 by MikeyB Quote
Wardancer Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I bought series 6 figs at Karstadt in Germany today. Other stores don't have them yet. Quote

The Genie is easy to feel for if you feel for his turban which is rather large and the bottom ghost "legs". Quote
toycardriver Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Just picked up 16 at the Lego Store in Glendale, AZ. I didn't really try to feel them all, but got 10 unique and only got multiple of the bandit. I like him because he looks like Johnny Ringo from the movie Tombstone. (I'll be your Huckleberry...) _Oceanblue_ Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I bought series 6 figs at Karstadt in Germany today. Other stores don't have them yet. During the weekend I was in Luebeck. Series 6 are available in MyToys - 2,49e/pc. Series 5 were there on sale - 1,20e/pc, which is a bit worse than in TRU offering 10 pcs for 10 euro. Quote

Miss Kyle Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 2,49 Meh. Thanks for the info though. I'll check out BR Spielwaren, they sold series 5 for 1,99. They might stick to the price, it's worth trying! Quote
Lego_Hero Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 The Genie is easy to feel for if you feel for his turban which is rather large and the bottom ghost "legs". I know, but I had already mistakenly identified the laser gun as a lamp, so I quit looking since I only wanted one. Sadly, I recognized a plume and a turban and threw those baggies back since I thought I already had a genie. I've been feeling the baggies since the second series and have only made two mistakes counting this one, so I'm not doing too bad. Plus, I'm now glad I have two aliens. I just wish someone could tell me which part of the box I can find a genie in. Am I crazy or didn't someone know that information in a previous series? Quote
streifen Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 I just wish someone could tell me which part of the box I can find a genie in will the info be useful? it will only help when you are looking at a box that is opened in front of you. otherwise someone else could have thrown in other packs from other boxes and/or mixex up the contents in there while feeling the packs.
