AwesomeTaylor Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 I got 14 today, the staff had felt the packets and separated a bunch so I just told them which ones I didn't want :) Quote
Tytus Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Any chance you (or anyone else) can provide a Target DCPI# for these? I would like to punch it into one of the scanners to see if they have any in stock in the back. Found it, it's 204000211. I went to two Targets after work today, both of which I checked yesterday. I went there today and what do I find, en endcap full of empty pegs where Minifigs used to be :( I know they'll start popping up more soon, but it would have been nice to get them earlier and for $3. I'm not buying them at TRU. Quote
dark1san Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 If you have a $5 Below near your town go there, they always have them in my area before the other stores. Our Target stores seem to never have them. It's like after Series 2 they stopped carrying them. Quote
Legogal Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Series 6 seemed difficult to identify for me. I bought 18 yesterday at a Lego Store and ended up with only 10 of the 16. But the multiples I got were perfect for my new Friends sets. I really like the skateboarder and skier. Next will have to find Sleepyhead with her teddy bear. And the surgeon. The lady in red does have a lovely outfit even if I don't care for red that much. Would be nice to see some female Asian faces and more darker skins in the collectibles. Quote
legomaniac83 Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Thanks to Homer_S tip I went to the St. Jacobs store today and felt my way through all 16 correct! Got doubles of the ones I love - Mechanic, Butcher, Robot, Statue & Sleepyhead. I have never got one wrong from any of the series by way of feeling the bags.......patience is the key. So far I am super impressed with the whole set, and might have to get me another Genie and Surgeon. Happy Hunting! Quote

That was the first place I saw S5 though, and they were plentiful there for a long time after. I hope they do get 6 soon. Quote
Dwellington Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Thank you for that feeling guide, SilvaShado! Now I just have to wait for all the Series 5's to clear out of my area. At my TRU, they've removed them from the boxes and just have this big endcap tub full of them, AND a wall of pegs at the Megablocks endcap. It's seriously the most blind-bags I've ever seen in one place... If my local Target doesn't pull through, I'm not getting any of these things until like February. Quote
Miss Kyle Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 (edited) Wahey, finally got my first batch of four - the sleepyhead (LOVE the faces!), bandit, highlander and Minotaurus. More, more MORE!!! Edited January 13, 2012 by Miss Kyle Quote
TheLegoDr Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Found it, it's 204000211. I used that DCPI and it came up as available. But nowhere in the store that I could see had any of the packets. I was in a hurry so I didn't see any employees to look it up, but I am assuming they have them in the back but not out for sale? Or the search isn't accurate. Anyway, thanks for the number. Hopefully it will help someone on here. Quote

I went to that asile, and indeed there were pegs for the figures, but they were empty. I had assumed someone simply bought every single one of them. But then I went to another Target, and they had them "available" but they weren't out anywhere either. Again, none in the stock. Now I remember someone else posting a similar experience, and you had this one. I wonder if these are showing up as available and on shelves before they actually have them for some reason? I had a similar experience, the machine gave me an aisle location (none in the stockroom) but it was a clearance aisle with no pegs or price labels. Don't know if they sold out or what. Thanks for posting the DCPI number, I'll keep checking! PS: Huh, now I have a badge that's the same as my avatar... wonder what it means? Edited January 13, 2012 by Pellaeon Quote
CtotheP Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Thanks for the heads-up, fellow Chicagoan! I work just a couple of blocks away from Woodfield, so I'll be stopping in there tonight after work. The store's staff is really good about actually helping you to find the figs that you're looking for. There's one dude who works there (I forget his name) who's amazingly good at it. Glad to help! I opened the other packs and got 2 Minotaurs, 1 Butcher, 1 Leprechaun, and 1 Skater Girl. P.S. - I know the Lego Employee you're talking about.....he always helps out if you're looking for that specific figure! Quote
Tytus Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Stopped by TRU today because I had like 6 'R US Dollars to spend, and lo and behold I found a white box. Unfortunately, someone had already gotten to it before me and took all of the Roman Soldiers, Minotaurs, Aliens, Butchers, and Genies. I took home the only Robot, Lady Liberty, and Highlander. And now that I got my fix I can just wait for them to show up in larger numbers at Walmart etc. Quote
ETAV8R Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 The Lego store in Costa Mesa has a bunch of S6. I stopped there today and picked up almost an entire set. I will get the remainder and extras at Target. While at the Lego store I helped a young boy and girl get a couple figures they wanted. Their mom was wanting to get them out of the shop and I found them a space girl just in time. Then when I go to ring up my stash I have more than 16 and the employee says I can only buy 16 per day per Lego policy. What a bunch of BS. No matter she gave in and let me get 3 extra. Got home and found out one isn't what I thought it was. I'll go back and exchange or return them and follow up at Target. While searching I found quite a few Romans but less of the Highlanders. Lots of Minotaurs though. Quote

I need roman soldiers but everyone is at it so I am stuck. Quote
Dervish Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Darn, still no luck with series 6 =( New Ninjago, duplo, city etc sets have started to appear in the stores, but no minifigs yet. If I got correct info from my local small toystore, they should have figs maybe next week. I just can't wait more! I've been driving about 50 km per day to check out the stores around here to get the first picks, but no =( Have even some info on what time the new stuff comes in the store and are put on shelves so I definately get the dibs Quote
GuntherThePenguin Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Has anyone seen S6 at TRU near the south-west states of the US? Such as in Arizona, California, or New Mexico? Thanks in advance. Quote
SilvaShado Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Thank you for that feeling guide, SilvaShado! You're very welcome! It's helpful to know what pieces to look for. We've been able to help a lot of people when we've gone in to get extras. Most people are amazed at my husband's ability. I'm very glad we can help others out. Quote

striderhiryu Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Could someone tell me if any of the figures have a rubber/soft plastic hair or headpiece like the ones on mad scientist and cavewoman? Quote
SilvaShado Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Could someone tell me if any of the figures have a rubber/soft plastic hair or headpiece like the ones on mad scientist and cavewoman? The statue of liberty's head piece is a bit rubbery. Why? Quote
joeroy Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 I'm at 10 now :D I will stop at 36 to make a 6 x 6 tortoise. I beleive Roman shield is not big enough to make 6 x 6 tortoise? or maybe can? just puzzled... The statue of liberty's head piece is a bit rubbery. Why? After year gone by, will rubbery started to melt? Quote
SilvaShado Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 After year gone by, will rubbery started to melt? I don't think these are the first rubbery hair pieces ever made by LEGO. So far, I've not had any problems with the rubbery hair. Hargrid's hair is just fine, for instance. I mean, I wouldn't leave any LEGO pieces out in the desert sun for any length of time. Under extreme conditions, almost anything rubber or plastic would melt or deform. Quote
striderhiryu Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 The statue of liberty's head piece is a bit rubbery. Why? Could help in identifying them quicker, but I guess if lady liberty is the only one then it won't be of much help as that one should be obvious enough. Quote
