Tytus Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 If I remember correctly they were 2.99. For you guys finding these in Kmarts-- where are you finding them? In the LEGO aisle, endcaps, or somewhere else? I couldn't find any yesterday- although it is likely that store simply doesn't have them. Quote
Mrcool1804 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Went to our local K-Mart and they had a completely untouched stash of Series 6! There were on a hanging holder with 15 or so slots. It was awesome! Quote
K-Nut Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 I found a full rack of these at My Target the other day and picked some up. I went back yesterday and they had about 5 left. I grabbed two, thinking I'd get something like two Skater Girls, but I got two Highlander's! It was a pleasant surprise. Quote
GeluNumber1 Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 My Super-Kmart has none. However, my local TRU had two packets. I got alien. He's pretty cool. Quote
Jedi master Brick Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Got 4 random packets, got to surgeons and 2 highlanders Quote
Sid Sidious Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Has anyone seen these at Walmart? They aren't listed on Walmart.com, so does this mean they haven't been put in the site yet, or that Walmart isn't carrying them? Quote
wtfbbq Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Thanks for the kmart tip. Found an end cap and picked up all the ones I was interested in. Quote
Piranha Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Both the Highlander's (S6) and the Gladiator's (S5) swords fit fine. The one with a spear in S6 is a Roman Legionary. I was disappointed to find that the Musketeer's (S4) Rapier didn't fit in the scabbard due to the little "ball" at the end. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 I was disappointed to find that the Musketeer's (S4) Rapier didn't fit in the scabbard due to the little "ball" at the end. Agree. Major disappointment. Quote
Etzel Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 I was disappointed to find that the Musketeer's (S4) Rapier didn't fit in the scabbard due to the little "ball" at the end. Push a little harder. Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 The shield has a distinct curve and a single stud, but I find that the rectangular curve of the shield along with the handle on the shield is unique and is easy to feel for first. I must say, I'm a little disappointed in the Roman Soldier. The shield is much smaller than I thought it looked, and most of all why is the shield maroon and yet the pteruge on the legs is bright red? Why not go for consistency? I will say, however, that the Galea helmet is SPECTACULAR. Quote
Piranha Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Just curious to people who purchase/find the robot, what do you plan to use it for? Quote
The Brick Rat Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Just curious to people who purchase/find the robot, what do you plan to use it for? The Toyman wants at least a half-dozen of them to terrorize Metropolis. Of course, I'm sure Superman will make short work of them. Quote
Piranha Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Push a little harder. Disclaimer: I did manage to get it to fit but at the cost of bending the rapier accidentally. Quote
h-7 Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 (edited) I initially found Series 6 at TRU but they want 3.49 each. Ouch! But I bought 2 anyway mainly because I had to have the robot and minotaur. I took the package to a Target and scanned it and lucked up and was told it was in the backroom. So I asked an employee to bring it out which they denied however they went and got 10 packs for me. At Target they are 2.99. I lucked out and a friend wanted the extra Robot I got. So I went back the next day and they brought out the shelf hanger box. I got to pick through it and scored the rest of what I wanted. It was nice going through a virgin box. My hands were the first to feel up the packages. I probably stood there at least 45 minutes feeling up the pack. I was trying to find certain figures for me and a friend. I took my time and only ended up with 1 surprise. I thought I was feeling the Genie's bottle but it turned out to be the arm of the bear with the Sleepyhead kid. But its ok I needed a second bear for Bane minifig....now Bane has Osito Edited February 6, 2012 by h-7 Quote
The_Box Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Just curious to people who purchase/find the robot, what do you plan to use it for? When I get the motivation, I was going to put the robot in Olivia's Workshop as another project she has created, along with the robot from series 1 and some random Star Wars droids I can get my hands on. Could someone show me how the mechanic's hair looks on the genie? Or if that doesn't work, does anyone know what other hair could work for the genie to be Genie from Aladdin? Quote
K-Nut Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Just curious to people who purchase/find the robot, what do you plan to use it for? The Robot is usually a fig I only get one of so I can complete the set, but If I do get more than one of them, The Brick Rat's use is good too. Quote
meyerc13 Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 I've checked two Walmarts, 4 Targets, 2 TRU's, my LEGO Store, and no Series 6! Grr! Does anyone know if they've been spotted in Minnesota yet? -Sci I was in MN for business last week, and on Monday saw a sidecap display at the Target at 494 and Cty 9 in Plymouth, but it was cleaned out. Then on Tuesday night (1/31) at the Mall of America LEGO store I found them, and picked up 10. I was trying for two butchers but somehow ended up with three along with 7 other figs. So they definitely were in MN hours before you posted this, but I have no idea if they still are. Quote
Piranha Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Some great ideas, I was also thinking, for a display in a store like TRU, a costume maybe and in a retro sci fi theme type MOC. The Toyman wants at least a half-dozen of them to terrorize Metropolis. Of course, I'm sure Superman will make short work of them. Tytus Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 I found S6 at my local Walmart today for $2.97. Thought I would mention because I don't recall seeing any US Walmart sightings yet. The nearby Target had a new box as well, and TRU had a few bags. Quote
