Oh dang; found another set...... *oh2*

I was waiting for that one. Love the hot rod - this is my favourite of the Forest Police sets.

Meth Lab is the first thing that comes to mind. These shanty shacks are found all the time in the woods in the NW USA.

*groan* I need a pay rise!

The recycling and tipper trucks look fantastic, but I wish there are more City buildings.

Minifig, i share your thoughts... my city is packed with vehicles, and in fact, doesn't need any new vehicles.. but... because TLG made such a beautifull new 2012 City-vehicle-wave...i have to put them in my city too... I have a copy of most vehicles...but most buildings i have only one ...that is why i would love to see some new buildings.. I know it is difficult to bring a new set that sells well, but i still hope TLG will bring us something new..maybe a cellphone-shop or a shop that sells TV's and audio-gear??

On the other hand..lets be glad with all those outstanding vehicle-sets.... !! :sweet:

Lego Creator Log Cabin 5766 turns out to be a must have for thos who love the new forest theme...it will fit really well in a forest-display!!!

Sometimes i'm so curious where you get those images from... maybe you are an infiltrant from TLG??

Why is the license plate on the ambulance off centre? It should be in the middle - looks wrong to me. I don't like how the red bricks at the front stick out over the headlights - it should be more rounded at the edges.

The mobile fire command could be worth getting for the front tractor unit alone, which I would personally prefer to use for civ. use (get rid of the blue lights). Very nice truck - the red and yellow colour scheme could turn it into a Linfox truck. Lego need to put out more bonneted trucks - I don't have any in my city :( I don't like cab-overs.

I like how they've combined a prisoner transport and dog unit into one vehicle. It looks better than the previous 2 separate vehicles. It's a shame I bought both of those only a few months ago :(

Really wonderful City Sets for 1/2012. I like especially the recycling trucks (like a lot of us in here ;) ) and some parts like the 1x2 brick with brick-structure and my long-awaited dark red wedge.

The 1x1 round tile is also a part that gets interesting in non-transparent colours, for example to build midage roads etc.

The torso prints especially (but not only) from the paramedics are really cool as well.

Great work Lego!

EDIT: Just see that they have another new part: Look at the tree from 4438. The leaves seem to be on a 2x2 round modified plate with 4 arms up. Hasn't anybody spotted them before?

Plenty of real life vehicles have off-center plates.

Yes but such plates always face forward. In other words, they are never angled, like they are on the ambulance.

Don't see the problem?

The license plate on that vehicle is facing forward. On the ambulance it's on a curved bumper, so it's angled toward the side. This never happens in real life - license plates are never angled and always face directly straight ahead.

It looks like with the garage aswell there wont be much inside the house - it still looks amazing on the outside  LOVE the chimney!

I don't disagree entirely, but the fact that there's two EMT's with only room for one of them doesn't bother you? I suppose the second one can ride the injured minifig's bike back to the ER.

These bricks would make some neat cobblestone.

Are you sure the EMT can't fit in the back with the patient? If not that sucks :(

Also, considering the forest theme of most of the sets, it's a disappointment that none of them include any cypress trees :(

Another question - why are some of the firemen's eyes so close together? Look at the minifigs in 4209, especially this image:

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/grogall/City-2010/4209/c_4209_detail_1.jpg

Am I seeing things or are their eyes way too close together?

In this picture you can see the same face, and the eyes don't seem too close together. I think the image you linked to is misleading and you can't even see the eyes of the figures very well-- just the bridge of the glasses, which is for whatever reason colored black. In the Police Station set, the distinction between the bridge of the glasses and the eyes is a lot clearer.

Additionally, the pic you linked to oddly doesn't match the contents shown on the box. It has two figs with those glasses, as opposed to one male fig with those glasses and one female fig without them.

I love that new hillbilly bandit in the police station, in the overalls. New uniforms. New hats. New animals. New cars. So much new going on in 2012. All of 2012 is going to be great and very costly.

Alfa Romeo. Case closed.
