The hospital set looks good although I am still undecided whether to get it now that we have better pics.

The medical helicopter might make it worth the price.

But now that we are seeing more pics, that garage is AMAZING.

Just hope it doesn't cost a fortune.

I really hope it won't be too difficult to acquire default_classic.gif

If its anything like the last sets of its type, the only way to get one will be to fly on certain airlines who have chosen to stock it in-flight.

You could build your own if you get a copy of the instructions, or copy mine that I built a year ago. :classic:

I think the garage might have more than 4 spots. It seems to me that each side at the top is divided in two with a white flat tile. I think the garage might have up to 6 parking spots.

Ooh! The garage looks good. I like the cars that are in there, wonder if one(or all) will come with it. Is this a 2012 release, or do we not know?

There is a report from Amazon China of an unknown 2012 set that is almost certainly a match for this parking garage.

And there are various rumors about it being a 2012 set.

The big news from the car park picture is the green train locomotive at the right of the picture

Nah. The Green train is 10219 Maersk train in green without any other stickers than the 10219 ;)

Thanks for the news. Blogged on Classic-Town.net.

Cool

I've worked something out, the petrol pumps are missing from the layout.....the sign points the same way for the car wash, but it's only a car wash and remembering my old toy parking garages of my childhood days, the pumps/bowsers were out front of the car park. Plus I feel something else is missing....the pay point for the car wash....it's not complete ! *oh2*

We need to scan over all the available images to see if another Octan structure pops up.

It's on the back side. I got more pictures coming if it's not seen yet

EDIT: I saw it to ,late but you found the gas pumps ;)

I do spot two train like models that are "new" perhaps or maybe just models for the display.

No new trains at LEGO World this year =(

PS: I got confirmation on the garage and glider from two of the designers that attended. The hospital is also confirmed but thats old news.

It comes with four cars - the beige van, yellow and blue cars and the orange tow truck.

The parking garage is definitely a must-buy for me! I do own several copies of 6394 but, as I'm sure you're all well aware, the newer cars have a problem fitting in there. And parking has become a tough one in my city.

Ahh, I see now what you mean. Yes, it does seem that way, and it makes sense ... so many cars from other sets need parking space as well. :excited:

I must say, I'm not all too pleased with the hospital; as some have mentioned earlier, I was hoping for a bigger set, more along the lines of the police station. Well, maybe it's TLG's taking on politics and cutting down on health services. :snicker:

I love those train bridge pillars ... I'm sure we won't get those as a set, and true, they're easy enough to build on your own once the new brick bricks are available on PAB. But still, it would be nice to see a revival of the whole 'elevated train' theme ... maybe the subway train could be a hint in that direction?

Five parking spots free, the sixth is taken up with the security office.

I think it's only 3 cars; the yellow car looks like it is from the Car and Caravan set.

Theres 4 spots upstairs, one at least where the orange truck is on the second floor (and maybe one behind it) and there seems to be one spot in front of the security office.

It's like what MAH4546 said "It comes with four cars - the beige van, yellow and blue cars and the orange tow truck."

The blue car is JC 4207, beige van is KB 4207, and the yellow is GH 4207, the tow truck is SJ 4207

Thank you EVERYONE for these great new photos! I am liking the Parking Garage more every time I see it. The vertical support beam- new part? I've not seen it before but I don't collect all themes. I love all the signage even though they are stickers. I'll be interested to see how this set will look on it's own (baseplates or lack thereof, streetlight and or other scenery) I assume the petrol pump will stand free of the actual garage on a smaller base.

I wonder if the security booth would look better on the first level by the entry gate- That way he could double as a cashier. Plus that would open up a couple extra parking spaces!

All in all, this one is quickly becoming my "must have" of 2012. Jabba the Hutt and Helm's Deep beware!

Thanks for updated photos 'eiker86', ah....two petrol pumps which uses the string and tap fuel hose trick from Town Plan 2008 set.....sort of...it appears the nozzle sits on a slope, I guess so to be gripped and returned the way a real one does....okay works for me.

Thanks, eiker86, for the updated Flickr. I know I'm repeating myself, but I definitely like the bridge (even though it's not a set on its own), with the ornaments and everything. I'm still hoping that we get some sort of a new 'elevated train' line in the future ... :sweet:

I Like the cars, I like the stickers, but hate the set. It looks amateur and flimsy.

Also its annoying me that that other set is being called a hospital when quite clearly its nothing of the sort. With the small van having the heart monitor blip motif and the helicopter its obviously a trauma clinic.

In all honesty though I feel city buildings are getting worse not better. whoever worked on these and the city harbour and marina needs to up their game or stand aside. It's like being back in last century. The Gold mine sets are sub par too. Almost as if all the licensed themes and new themes were 'more fun' and no-one could be bothered to work on what is effectively the mainstay of the Lego company - Town/City. I'm seriously disappointed and let down. I'd rather there were no city sets this year than these lacklustre efforts.

Well the City sets are targeted for kids under the age of 12. And kids usually don't have a lot of money, so TLG has to keep the costs down just so the kids can afford them. Since most of use on Eurobricks are adults, everything in the City line might seem childish and colourful, and to be honest, it is. But keep in mind that these sets are aimed at kids. I don't see TLC making modular sized city building such as hospitals, banks, shops and train stations. It would cost a fortune and it wont blend in very well with current city sets. Just my 2 cents.
