Any idea how much longer we can expect the Forest Police sets to still be available? I still need to get a few... Hopefully I have at least till tye end of the year. I got a bit too excited and went a bit too crazy buying... :hmpf_bad: Gotta take a breather and get the ol' credit card under control. :hmpf:

Probably until next December or January. That's when most of the earlier sets of the year are put on clearance. :classic:

The 4207 Garage is now available at S@H Canada... for $150

Darn it, this is a more expensive price/piece ratio than Helm's Deep, which is a licensed set!

Ah, so Canada's price is the same as Australia's....oh, well I then totally scored a bargain of year for 64.50 at Kmart....of course the box was damaged though !

I think I know why the higher price, all those white uprights and parts to build the lift.

Still worth buying though, I  it and to tell the truth....I do play with it....yeah, must be my second or six childhood in action !

OMG ! *oh2*

I want one....no, two - give one to my son !

Beautiful design, a sort of cross between their earlier 15 buck AU copter and the 60 buck TRU exclusive one.....I'm going to check instruction downloads at Lego.com right now !

Edit - no instructions up yet. :cry_sad:

Edit 2 - Grogall where are you when we need you, dude......on Argos website you get only the older 4471 not this copter listed....usually it's the G-man who gives us the goodies so what's the deal with this copter....perhaps it's a 2013 set ? *oh2*

Edit 3 - Just notice on the helicopter a play feature, spin the rotor raise or lower the rescue line....I think by the looks of the mechanics....if true it will be AWESOME.

Just saw this over at Brickset, and to be honest I'm just not that impressed. I'd like it a whole lot more if it confirmed that new SWAT torso. It's just that the police force is becoming a militarized army... I'm up for more civilian sets for '13.

Speaking of which, I agree that this is probably a good time to start a 2013 Sets thread...

Additionally, I think they're gonna release this set near the time LEGO City Undercover comes out. If it's a retailer exclusive, it'll probably be for Target (which has no exclusives currently for Summer 2012 City).

Good eye, tiger. It looks to be right about the rotor... That's a neat feature, if true. But, I'm not too impressed by the chopper. The figs look cool, I can't wait to see HR pics to get a better look at them.

Well, by all rights it could be the first set to be shown for next year.....and it appears not to be a regular police copter....an actual rescue one I say to extend onto the mining sets for this year.....perhaps a rescue truck or perhaps even a forest fire station.....hey we'll be due for another fire station right ?

Anyone have any info on the US availability of 4429 Helicopter Rescue??!! I assumed that it would be released the same time as 4207 Parking Garage, but short of Lego.com it's nowhere to be found. Does anyone have any idea of when it will hit stores... And perhaps even more important, is it an exclusive to any specific store? Target, perhaps?

Shock.....TRU in the US....remember I said US has the 4207 garage for 129.99 ! *oh2*

99 cents dearer than Kmart Australia retail price and 20 bucks less than the Aussie S@H price ! *oh2*

Oh, and the helicopter rescue......WALMART

Hey buddy... So 4429 is a WALMART exclusive??? Thought their only arrangement was for the Spider-Man set??!

Well, it's not on TRU's website and it's a BigW exclusive in Oz (Walmart and BigW have a friendship thing going on  )

Not on Kmart or Target sites neither.

I'm not sure if these have been posted yet, but I found some HR images for the game "Lego City Undercover" which may show some 2013 city sets!?

Remember these are NOT confirmed 2013 sets!

All images link to HR version 3500+ pxl.

Edit* this is obviously 7631 (with new mining Minifigures)!

And this would be my personal favorite! it show a Ford GT40 if they don't make it i'll MOC it!

All these would probably look real good as real sets!

That car is fabulous!

I would suspect that we will get a Lego City Undercover subline to go with the game. It's the perfect promotional/marketing device for Lego City, and unlike the other TT Lego games, they have no licensors to worry about regarding builds or characters and their depictions.

Love the GT40. Looks like some Lego designers has had a little inspiration here at eurobricks

The Mining theme is also great, and decerves additions.

But seriously.... another round of new police units and I'm gonna puge  Looking forward to the WiiU game. And of cause they'll make some sets of this game. But please!!! Wait just a few years before you'll make a whole new police line-up!!! There are plenty of great City ideas, functions and services that needs building.

Nice pictures 'GRogall'.

I keep on hearing rumors about a SWAT subtheme next year, so that truck might very well be a future set. The GT40 looks fantastic, too.
