This building had finish the outlook in January, 2011. And this buildings had shown in Brick Adventure 2011 January, and the City Plaza LEGO show in Easter Holiday. Until now, just have time to finish the indoor and share with yours. :)

DOURKAU is a famous crab restaurant in Japan, I build this restaurant in traditional Japanese style, also, with their famous icon, the CRAB, at the front door.

Thanks for your watchinh and comments. :)

Wow, both are outstanding. I may have never been to Japan but I get the feel of it from these MOC's. I love the interior design. I always am amazed at the interiors if the outsides look so good, you MOC'ers are like mini architects.

Really great work, I want noodles now.

Great! Great on the inside, on the outside, and the surroundings, too.

(But Google says it should be "Douraku", not "Dourkau".)

Excellent detailing. I'm not big on Japanese structures but they can be quite tough to get down. You really did a great job with the architecture of the building and the interior details are perfect. This would definitely be a tough MOC to build. Great job!!

I really like the way your buildings are instantly recognizable as Japanese. The shapes of those roofs aren't exactly Lego-friendly, but you pull it off beautifully. And the modularity of it all is also a very nice feature. Well done!

Love the chef and his cheese slope hat as well as people sitting down to eat the yummy sea food :sweet: . So much detail.

Love that sloping roof! How did you do it? Any chance you can share your technique?

Wow fantastic all the way around! I love the way you did the back garden seating and the riverfront looks great. Where do the crab elements come from? I don't think I've seen them before.

Really thanks for all of your comments :classic:

For the roof technique, I had use this in all of my Japanese and Chinese buildings creation. Only use the 2x plate and some 1x1 or 1x2 plate to brick the sharp of the roof top.

I like to use this way is because of "plate" is easy to find and it can build iin diffeent sharp
