alex54 Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 I wasn't serious when I said to close the topic! I think that I wouldn't resist to see what the calandar has, just to know if it is a good investisment :-P ! Quote
highlandcattle Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 It's awesome!! I need to get it!! The computer , the telephonepole. Awesome. Is it avail in the shops or do you have to get it through shop@home? I do agree with phonix that it needs at least one female. Quote
Hobbes Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 It's awesome!!I need to get it!! The computer , the telephonepole. Awesome. *sing* Psssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssst! *wacko* ;-) Is it avail in the shops or do you have to get it through shop@home? I do agree with phonix that it needs at least one female. I think yoda mentioned he got it at TRU. Can't remember having it seen here in stores, though. Quote
highlandcattle Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 We don't have TRU in Belgium only Bart Smith and they don't carry a lot of lego, but smaller and independant stores do Quote
xwingyoda Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 Sweeeeet set !! I am definitly getting two of those babies !! I love the parc maintenance dude !! Excellent !! G I was surprised to see a Fireman in there :-D !! Advent On !! *yoda* Quote
Jipay Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 Don't worry mate it's avilable through normal stores. Quote
natelite Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 you said they sell very fast...but why is the 2005 set still available from BL at a heavily reduced price. :-P go get them as minifig packs!!! btw, i just seen the 2006 set and i wont reveal much.... i find it a VERY interesting pack as it contains a lot of printed parts, which can be used in mocs...useful for space, town, just about any settings. about the same number of minifigs as last year. the minifigs are not as varied as last year though...but whatever. :-P Quote
alex54 Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 It is the last issue to have some accessories for a town, without going on the second hand market! I was affraid to see another them advent calandar like an exoforce one or worse, a star wars one :-X :-P Seriously, I think that city theme is the best for an advent calandar because it is easier to have some small minisets which can look good. For example, a KK calandar couldn't bring such elements, a castle tower cannot enter in a such small window. Advent calandar seems to be a city privilege! *sweet* Quote
xwingyoda Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 Exactly Alex !! Long live thge City Advent calendars !! More real life would be nice though !! I admit that the parc cleaner and the public phone booth is a great step forward ;-) *yoda* Quote
Hobbes Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 I admit that the parc cleaner and the public phone booth is a great step forward ;-) Um... I did not check out UHAUHA's gallery, so I DO NOT KNOW WHAT'S IN THE CALENDAR! ... except for what you guys tell here *sing* :-P ;-) Quote
alex54 Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 I really don't know why tlc made Santa Claus so crappy. An all red with white hands, a black belt and a good fig could make him better! Quote

alex54 Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 I've bought the advent calandar yesterday! Now I just have to wait december the first to open the first case... It will be hard...I'm so exited! Quote
Holly Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 I think I saw this in my local independent toyshop yesterday - I didn't buy it as they had quite a few and I was buying a birthday present for my nephew - perhaps I should have grabbed one while I could! This will be our first year with a Lego Advent Calendar rather than a Playmobil one (same principle: you open a piece every day and gradually build a final scene). Does anyone know of a link to all previous Lego Advent Calendars please? I have every Playmobil one ever released and, whilst I'm not likely to do the same for the Lego ones, I'd be interested to see them. :-) Holly Quote
snefroe Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 bought the calender last week in a regular shop, still, i was under the impression that is was a Shop@home thing. Yep i did open it, meaning, opened the side of the box, got the plastic box with the lego parts out and sorted them... I'm gonna put the box with the print somewhere in the house at Christmas, though... Quote
Asuka Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Yeah, I remember not reading it until December 24 cos I didn't want to spoil my fun opening a window everyday. I ordered the calendar in October and had it lying around until December. Man, that was hard ;-) I Quote
