---Vertea--- Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Hey, does anyone happen to have that pic of all the LEGO snake tails together? It was posted a while back, around the same time we first saw CMF Series 6. Bluebeard, out- Here Quote
sharky Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Lets put it this way: My wallet was so sick it couldn't even sick anything up. There was hardly anything in it! Its feeling better now Sets are brilliant though, and me son enjoyed his presents. Destiny's Bounty is probably the best out of them all.f That will be the only Ninjago set I get this year. I am quite taken with it. Quote
Aanchir Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Look a few pages back and you'll see the links to episode 03, 04 and 05. :) Thanks for the links, but I'd prefer to wait until the episodes air in the US, actually. It's less than a week before the TV series resumes here, and I'd rather watch it in higher quality than YouTube currently offers Episode 3 in. On a not-quite-2012 related note, the Jay and Cole books should be out in the United States now. I'll have to drop by a bookstore and pick those up. I greatly enjoyed the Kai and Zane books (ESPECIALLY the Zane book) and would love to read about Cole and Jay in greater depth. Quote
LegoBrickSteve Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Has anyone found the sudden transformation of the golden weapons into high tech. vehicles amusing? I mean this concept would be great for kids but seriously? lol. Like so much of Ninjago, it is just so lame to do this. Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Like so much of Ninjago, it is just so lame to do this. It is just so lame to enter a topic that you don't like and say things like that. Quote
Lance Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Like so much of Ninjago, it is just so lame to do this. Wait, i'm confused You say that NinjaGo is lame, but why are you visiting the topic if that's your opinion? Makes no perfect sense to bump topics Quote
Dharkan Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 As Hinckley said on the other topic just don't feed the troll, let him talk :) I'm really eager to see rest of summer wave sets, hoping for a big gun. Quote

refriedbeans Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Just picked up little Lloyd Garmadon at Target today! Absolutely love him! I was also going to pick up a Friends set but my parents didn't agree. Quote
CM4Sci Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 but my parents didn't agree. I also got a stare at the checkout. Anyway, spotted a few Jay booster packs (The one with the LEGO 75% offer or something..) at my TRU today. Tried to pick it up, but decided for the Wrecking Ball, -Sci Quote

Perry the Platypus Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Are you sure they were the Kendo Jay booster packs (the ones free with a $75 purchase at the LEGO Shop site) and not the Jay ZX booster packs (which are regular sets)? Took a break today while on my job at the LEGO store, and bought the Samaurai X, Lasha, and Starter spinner packs. I am too tempted for Ninjago minifigures right now. I bought a couple other sets, as well. So I then payed for them (I get an employee discount), and got the free Kendo Jay Booster pack. Now it seems they aren't only for orders on the website. I should be doing a review Samaurai X, soon, with a funny surprise in store featuring our favorite blue ninja... Quote
Flipz Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Took a break today while on my job at the LEGO store, I envy you so much right now. (Which one, by the way? Any tips on how to get hired?) Say, did you have to spend $50 to get Kendo Jay in-store or $75? If it's $50 I have to take the effort to make a trip to Downtown Disney, if it's $75 I'll just order from S@H and save myself a trip. scratch that, I have to feel the CMF packages...blast, why couldn't they have come out a month later, so they wouldn't conflict with my Friends/Ninjago plans?!? ...that came out wrong... just2good Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Forgot to mention, the new Brickmaster 2012 Ninjago book is available for pre-order. 400th Post!!!!! Quote
Perry the Platypus Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Working on a snake lair... any suggestions? Quote
LEGOman273 Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Working on a snake lair... any suggestions? In the show, the Serpentine were underground. So, perhaps a cave? Also use brick bricks and dark tan; there is a lot of that in the sets. You need to make some giant snakes or snake heads to guard the entrance. If you need any more help, just post or PM. Quote
Dharkan Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Well the serpentine lair was kinda icy, so you might wanna do something according to that. Also do a arena-like area in your lair, reference to the episode where scales and the old general fought. Quote
Perry the Platypus Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 (edited) I finished building it. I must say, I am impressed. I am not considered the best builder, so I really tried on this one. The MOC is actually fanon. It is a huge temple in the jungle created by the Venomari years ago. Thread coming tonight, pics tomorrow. Edited January 9, 2012 by Perry the Platypus Quote

Bioniclover Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Kadabra and I are planning an MOC of the Slither Pit and the Hypnobrai lair. Quote

LEGOman273 Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 They probobly won't, but it would be cool if TLG made the ice weapons that Scales and Slithera fought with. Quote

I don't know if it would work as a general issue set, but maybe as a VIP-exclusive? It seems Lego might have more leeway that way... Quote

It seems Lego might have more leeway that way... They have the moulds, and they involve no illegal connections, so I don't know why they could not. How about putting the weapons in the summer spinners? Quote
SpiderSpaceman Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 Working on a snake lair... any suggestions? there's actually some really cool snake-itecture in the background art for the set boxes/intstructions Quote
