MakutaNocturn Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 (edited) You do know they're not shipping until May 18th, right? But they will be avaliable even though! In Poland they will probably be in July or August. Edited April 23, 2012 by MakutaNocturn Quote

Yay :3 I can beat that. As of today, 9591 Tool Pack/Weapon Pack is available on Amazon in the U.S. Lots of large images of this set, which includes NRG Kai and Chokun. For those like myself who dislike the high price of spinner sets but still like the spinner concept, this is a pretty good deal. Essentially you're getting the equivalent of two spinner sets and two booster packs (sans the booster pack figures and cards) for the price of two regular spinner sets. And one of those figures, NRG Kai, does not appear in any other sets to date. Quote

I'm REALLY tempted by this, but I think I'll be able to hold out to get the VIP points for it. ...when will these be available from LEGO again? Quote

Toy Fair said the next wave of spinners and booster packs will be released in June. So I imagine they'll start showing up in LEGO stores and/or on LEGO.com in mid- to late May. Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 (edited) Geesh! Take it easy you guys! I dont even hardly any of the first wave sets. Any ways, the new boaster packs do look pretty sweat. Edited April 23, 2012 by Im a brickmaster. Quote
horizon Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Hey, yeah, the release speed is pretty quick given the amount of sets. Almost impossible to have a complete collection without serious debts. haha. Son got his money together and I found a really good deal on Destiny's Bounty. So building time (ah well, helping out with the trick parts)! :) Quote

Lordofdragonss Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Wait... I hope NRG Cole colors are not Black, yellow end PINK, it hurts my eyes. I hope they put preliminary pictures (they like to do this all the time...). Quote
horizon Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Urgh, Cole is the worst of the worse NRG ninja's. What where they thinking. The scythe version is cool though. Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 My favourite is Kai NRG, but my least favourite is Zane, as his color deviates from the original Ice Ninja. Quote
Aanchir Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Wait... I hope NRG Cole colors are not Black, yellow end PINK, it hurts my eyes. I hope they put preliminary pictures (they like to do this all the time...). In the CGI pics, it looks pink, but in the first pic (a photo) it looks metallic red. Since I've never before seen parts with metallic red printing, it could be that that pink color is just a poor attempt at replicating it in CGI (or, alternatively, a placeholder that never got corrected). The CGI used for official set images is usually very good these days, but that doesn't mean it's flawless. Quote
Lyichir Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Some new images: *snip* Source I'm still not totally excited about the new box graphics for the second half of the year. The picture of Lloyd ZX lacks the iconic simplicity of the "ninja eyes" pattern used for last year and the first half of this year. Moreover, it calls to mind the unappealing, cheaper-looking redesign of the Exo-Force character art in its third and final year. The sets themselves look great with the possible exception of the Bite Cycle, which fails to do anything new with its design, and lacks the finesse of the larger snake vehicles. Quote
Tohst Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 I found the Weapon pack of NRG Kai vs. Chokun at my local Target here in the Far West Suburbs of Chicago. No sign of other spinners or sets. Sorry in advance if there is a sightings topic for this. -Tohst Quote
just2good Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Hopefully this isn't late, but NRG Kai Vs. Chokun is available to ship on Toys'R'Us.com for $25. Quote

Speedza-Demon Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Hi everyone. I wanted to say that my local Target has stocked most of the Summer 2012 Spinners, with the only exclusions being Fangdam, Slithraa, Mezmo, and NRG Zane. I went ahead and bought NRG Kai and Chokun, it's a very nice set! If you guys want to see any pictures, I'll be more than happy to post them for my fellow Lego fans. Quote
