That white tank looks pretty cool. Good mix of figures and great mix of parts that I don't have yet. I have never seen those wheels in the rear of the tank before.

They're actually Technic motorcycle wheels, I believe. Specifically these ones.

The Tank is cool, kinda. Quite big & spacey. I have no idea where my kids have room for it. heh

-- A big pro for starters on the Ninjago line: All 4 Ninja's in ZX outfit plus all golden weapons are in the set.

I do think my son will get the snake bike so he can have the grand motorcylce Ninjago race (Kai vs Lasha vs Chopov).

The Mech is better then in the first pictures due posability. But not a hurray.

Yes! The tank comes with Furno bike wheels! Yet another reason to buy this set. Sadly, i need to get the Epic Dragon Battle when it goes on sale, 100 dollars is a bit too much for me,

:sweet:

The articulation on the Mech! I didn't even realize it could turn at the waist. The only thing it's missing are knees, but I've grown used to the lack of on mechs. I would prefer stability over poseability.

Definitely getting this when I find it. It's too good to pass up.

Pythor P. Chumsworth... is it a better minifigure before or after being redesigned? Here are some reference pictures:

Before redesigning- http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120224202204/lego/images/thumb/4/4c/PythorPChumsworth.png/151px-PythorPChumsworth.png

After redesigning-

P.S. His arms change in colour

I hate that minifigure... I love Pythor in the tv show but I would like to buy a figure with a closed mouth.

I'm sad that Lloyd's crest is actually silver. And I still hate the black arms on Pythor, but I guess I can just use the arms from Danju (Knight's Kingdom).

Actually, I, after looking at the vehicle, I am tempted to buy the set...if not for Pythor. He already looks ugly with his mouth dangling open without a hinge and his head descending all the way down to his torso(What were the designers thinking? Him suffering with a sore back?). Now with his arms recolored( NOW what were the designers thinking?? They've not watched the show? ), he is the least appealing to me. If not for the fact that I am intending to collecting all 5 generals, I would not have thought to buy this set. But I must admit, the mechanism in the 'wings' is most interesting...

P.S. This is my own opinion only. No offence intended.

Hmm, the tracks seem to glide instead of roll.

All of those sorts of tracks do that. They work much better on carpet or other "soft" surfaces.

Pythor looks horrible. The black arms were forgivable, but the "I've been kicked in the balls!" look isn't. :cry_sad: :cry_sad:

Personally, I love the look of the Pythor figure. It looks a bit worse in the product images than it does in the Toy Fair image, since it's covering up his chest icon, but I think it makes for a pretty menacing look, since it lunges forward and comes nearly eye-to-eye with a regular minifigure.

I also like his expression. I would probably dislike the expression if I did Brickfilms or something and so wanted a less emotion-specific expression, but then again that could be said for a lot of minifigures, even those without specialized head molds. I don't think a hinged mouth would have suited him very well at all. I get the idea it would hang loosely open all the time (there's not much space there for a high-friction connection that wouldn't be too brittle), and the

I'm not sure how I feel about the black arms. They look OK, add detail, and emphasize the "snakiness" of his body. But I did really like the look he sported at Toy Fair, and it certainly made it feel like his arms were more connected with the rest of his body.

On a side note, if you click "Look Inside" here, one of the pages shows Pythor and some of the other generals, and Pythor does indeed have his black arms, implying that the choice to give him black arms was made quite a while back (the book was published in March at least, and the illustrations would have had to be made well before then).

I'm not overly fond of any of the snake minifigures to be honest. The only exception is the hunchback orange-and-black snakeman that comes with the Samurai Mech. Pythor is clearly going to have very limited MOCing potential, which loses points in my book, and as many have said his mold isn't the greatest.

Actually, now that I think about this, Pythor's head is at the perfect height to recreate the "Pythor about to eat Sensei Wu on the Tour Bus"-scene.

I still love Pythor even if his mouth can't close. I don't think it's much of a problem unless you're going to play with the set. (Which I sometimes do. But I don't think that much people are immature as me.)

There are to main facets to LEGO, the building and the legalese. Seriously though, the play value is very important. With Ninjago, it is so great that I haven't even made any MOCs yet with it.
