I'm not sure if those episode titles are legit, but I certainly wouldn't put any faith in those episodes' descriptions. Since the title "Ninjaball Run" is an obvious reference to the film The Cannonball Run, a name having nothing to do with any type of sport other than racing, I wouldn't be at all surprised if these episode descriptions were just made up based on a cursory glance at the list of titles. There's a chance that they're real-- they do seem to tell a fairly cohesive story, after all-- but we have absolutely no reason to trust them when they're "leaked" this early.

With that said, a re-imagining of the Destiny's Bounty could be cool. I just don't think that episode list is any reason to assume we're getting one.

May review the summer sets I've ordered (Samurai Mech, USR, NRG Jay), but it depends if someones already done a review before they arrive, and if I can get some decent pics.

They may have a ship next year; in fact that's quite likely, but I don't think it will be the same one; it seems more likely to me that their second ship was attacked and then rebuilt - I don't see how they could possibly rebuild the current destinies bounty!

I agree. It just sounds too much like some one made it up. Of course it could be true, but. . . The real problam I have with it is that the ninjas don't have their weapons. Garmadon does, and I'm sure he's not going to give them up w/o a fight!

Probably not Space or Castle/knights, Lego already has too many simillar themes; there have been a lot of aliens lately and plenty of Knights (besides that LoTR is also Knight-oriented).

Aww. I was starting to really enjoy Ninjago.

I sure hope this replacement does justice, because when Bionicle replaced Hero Factory, a tear was shed at such a loss . The more I think about it, Pirates VS. Ninjas seems to just... work. Here's hoping the series will complete with a BANG!

Anyhow, I picked up NRG Cole two days ago and the pink highlights work for him! The character is beautiful and I will provide pictures if demanded.

Hi guys, I'm a big pirate fan, but I'm not up to date on all the Ninjago news and gossip. Can anyone tell me what the speculation is about the appearance of pirates in the Ninjago theme and what it is based on?

I remember a while back there was an episode listing for the TV show that mentioned pirates, but some people were saying that's not necessarily an indication of what sets will be like. Has there been some other solid evidence since that episode list reveal?

The possibly false information only implies that there might be pirates. Of course there are trolls saying they have official confirmation from TLG, but in reality nothing solid has been revealed thus far.

There are some images of 9574 Lloyd ZX here. Unfortunately, they aren't very good-- they're somewhat small and look like they were hastily converted from transparent PNGs into JPGs.

Incidentally, the pic of him with booster pack contents is just to show that the set's compatible with booster packs. The snakes and spikes are from the Lizaru booster pack and are not actually included in the Lloyd ZX set.

You've got it. The wonderful thing about the Serpentine Staffs and Silver Fang Blades is that they are identical save for the Serpentine emblems, and every set with those emblems has duplicates. I intend to do the exact same thing as you, since while I'm not the biggest fan of Lasha's Bite Cycle, I lack both a Lasha fig and a Venomari staff, so the Bite Cycle gets me both of those plus the Fang Blade.

I'm still a bit disappointed that there's no sign of an Anacondrai Staff in any set. I'm considering buying a trans-purple 1x1 round tile from Brickforge, but I don't know how I'd go about stickering or printing it.

They don't come in sets. Brickforge is a customizer which introduced a transparent 1x1 round tile long before TLG did the same in official sets. Their 1x1 round tiles are slightly different in shape, but until an official Anacondrai emblem piece shows up, their transparent purple 1x1 round tile could be a suitable substitute.

I wouldn't say it's paying for just a minifigure. The spinners and crowns for the NRG figures have some of the best designs of all spinner sets IMO, and the same applies for the character cards. NRG Cole, like the other two NRG Ninja already released, also includes a pearl gold lightsaber hilt, a fairly rare piece (though to be fair, there's no guarantee that it will remain rare since golden weapons are essential contents of all spinner sets and we can surely expect more next year).

It should also be considered that there is not especially strong demand for the non-minifigure contents of spinner sets in the aftermarket, and thus spinner-exclusive figures will have unreasonably-high prices. Likely even more so when the sets are no longer on store shelves. If you think you'll ever want the NRG Ninja, looking for a good sale on the sets themselves is likely a better course of action than picking and choosing the individual figures. For instance, On Memorial Day weekend here in the US, Target had a "buy one, get one 50% off" sale on Ninjago, Hero Factory, and Dino sets, and I used the opportunity to get 9591 Weapon Pack, which includes NRG Kai. I don't at all regret the decision (and I had avoided buying any dedicated spinner sets previously).

Speaking of which, my review of 9591 is up on The Ninjago Wiki. I tried to make it as thorough as possible. Hope it provides some great insight into why I love this set!

I would say that Cole NRG's spinner/spinner crown is not the best, but Jay's is deffinatly great - especially since it's the only blue spinner for Jay so far. Kai's is a little too orange, but I love his crown - especially since you can use it with almost any spinner. And I certainly wouldn't advise you to get the NRG just for the minifigs - none of them are really that great (especially not Cole) and even if they were ten dollars is redicullous just for the minifig.

I'm pretty sure that there will be a new pirate ship - as long as there are pirates. If the ninjas have a ship in the movie (whish is likely) Lego will probably come out with a new one. But not necessarially.

You shouldn't have to worry about printing it - there is no anacondrai symbol! I'm not sure why Lego even put an anacondrai staff in the movie. There dosen't really seem to be much reason for doing so. It is great that all the sets with 1x1 round tiles come with an extra one. That way I can trade one to my brother for one I'm missing!

All the NRG could use sholder pads - that hat looks too plain with out it, at lest IMO. I don't like his face; of course I don't like any of the NRG faces!

Somehow I completely forgot about the Spinners XD.

Very true on everything you said. I can live without them, but if I ever find a sale, then I'll definitely consider picking them up.
