M<0><0<DSWIM Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 (edited) This moc was blogged on FBTB like 10 minutes after I posted it! I was shocked. If you look closely, you can see furnaces in the walkers' cabooses The walkers are based on my minifig-scale Steampunk AT-AT: Edited August 13, 2011 by KielDaMan Indexed Quote
Brickdoctor Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Excellent work, Mood! The AT-ATs are perfect miniature versions of your System Steampunk AT-AT, and the T-47s are excellent for such a small scale. (even if they are a bit on the big side) Quote
Masked Builder Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Very cool Mood! I've never thought too much of steampunk MOCs before I had seen you Star Wars stuff. You've won me over! And great work miniaturizing the models! You been using that emote a lot today. Quote

I agree, the speeders are a bit too big, but I wanted them to have as much detail as possible. Plus, I figure, since they're SP versions rather than the "real thing", I could get away with making them a little bigger. Very cool Mood! Vindicare Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Very cool scene there. Even better is the bigger AT-AT, but that's another thread. I am arch a fan of your figures. I haven't seen much of your steam punk stuff, but they are up to par with the rest of your creations. Quote
Rinconstar Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 (edited) I think it's great what you have done. I'd love to see more. Edited August 13, 2011 by Rinconstar Quote

gogocar Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Wow, this is awesome. Very well done. Thanks for this excelent MOC, Mood . Quote
Mr Man Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Perfect M<0><0<DSWIM. A very good reduction of your system scaled AT-AT. I like the little defence turret as well. Quote
Kaitan Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Great scene! Love the use of the 'ice cream' pieces as smoke. I haven't seen your original walker before, but I'm very impressed with that too :) Good job! Kaitan Quote
thelegoguy Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 (edited) steampunk is the most original ways to build , especially an AT-AT . well done my friend Edited August 13, 2011 by thelegoguy Quote
Parrothead Rasmus Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 (edited) Very, VERY nice! An incredible piece! Edited August 13, 2011 by Parrothead Rasmus Quote
brickmack Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Incredible SP versions. The minifig scale ATAT looks great also, I hadn't seen it before. Quote
Hollander Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 (edited) Lovely! Both the snowspeeders and AT-AT's are really well designed. Although I'm not sure if the rebels and imperials would need icecream on such a cold planet. Edited August 13, 2011 by Hollander Quote
P4trickvH Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Very nice, i really like the AT-AT walkers. Quote

Norrington Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 The overall moc is quite good, and the translation of your steampunk AT-AT to micro-scale excedingly well done. My main objection would be the exhaust pipes on the back; having four with the ice-cream pieces atop, it seems to me, makes them look like they are entirely part of the design in that it took me a bit to realise that the ice cream pieces were smoke rather than part of the craft proper. Perhaps one smoke stack with a taller, 3-ice cream piece tall plume of smoke would be more clear, but that's just my opinion. Again, really great work. :) Quote

I see what you mean about the smoke plumes. I originally made the exhaust parts taller, but thought it made the walkers look a bit out-of-proportion. If I could afford more ice cream pieces I probably would make the smoke taller, though. Quote
I Scream Clone Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Great work Moody, I actually was daydreaming of building a similar version (without the Steampunk though) of this creation. Great stuff and looks really nice with the use of brown and ice cream. Quote

Mr Man Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Are the bars on the back of the snowspeeders propellers? Quote
Fallenangel Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Are the bars on the back of the snowspeeders propellers? I think they're pneumatic T pieces. Quote
Julandrius Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Nice work overall. It's not something I would've done, but it's a nice creation nevertheless. I like the idea of combining Star Wars with Steam Punk, good job :D Quote
Mr Man Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 I think they're pneumatic T pieces. I know that I was just wondering if they are playing the part of propellers, as the snow speeders don't seem to have a visible means of propulsion at the moment. Quote
