Indeed. Sometimes I believe the luck of the die has been infused into the character. Most of his initial rolls are pretty good.

Sorry for Double Post.

@Zephyr: Boomingham's comments always make me chuckle. Are we going to see a photo of him in his hood and dress uniform?

Yeah, I do actually think it may be time for Boomingham to get a make-over. I've had him wearing the same stuff since he showed up, so why not change it up a little?

And yeah, all the roleplaying of Quest 28 will be sorely missed when it is over. All the characters were fun to interact with, and I hope I get to quest with a number of you again soon.

I find an issue (not really an issue I want to fix, just a note I guess) with Heroica is that with everyone all over the place all the time, it's hard to build up friendships when you go on a quest once with a character, and then don't see them for ages. Boomingham's close friends are all gone and he hasn't seen some of them for almost six months now. That's why I think some quest should be allowed to submit parties that want to go together. Not all quests, or you'd never meet new players, but some quests that way would be cool.

Zepher I agree with everything you jus said. :classic:

And also not all quests because some players will start forming teams of veterans that steamroll your average enemies.

Well, once you go on two or more quests with someone you start to remember them. But I do like the idea you've used for Quest 38 (39?), Zepher, in the pre-formed parties.

*Innocent Whistling*

I wonder what will meet Tesni back at the hall, some friends of hers have been making major progress!

I know Alexis can't wait till some of her more "active" friends make a return.

Actually that would be preferable to mixed parties (level 1s with anything above level 10 would be a nightmare to balance!). You can always adjust enemies too.

And I think Quest 28 is about as veteran as it gets.

Let's do a quick headcount, shall we?

1 Level 21.66 Warden

1 Level 19 Assassin

1 Level 18.5 Shaman

1 Level 18 Paladin

1 Level 18 Sorcerer

Yeah, that's pretty dang veteran.

And I have to say, I'm loving it. I'm loving this mix of characters for roleplaying. From straining my relationship with Haldor to my exchange about hairstyles with Nur, it's been a fun ride. I'd love to quest with any number of you again.

I find it hard to believe that Quest #36 is already almost as long or longer than so many of the other on-going quests. What have we been talking about all this time?

Loot, loot, the fact that Proggs are Demons, trying to reason with Proggs, loot, searching for loot, loot.

Question: Are the cannonballs Quest-Items, or can they be used elsewhere?

Edited by LEGOman273

I expected it to reach it's close in 30 pages. But dear lord, you guys are moving fast. This has to be a record!

We're nearing the big finale though. I expect it to end on page 55-60 - double the amount of pages then anticipated.

The cannonballs will not be taken from you at the end of the quest. any unused essences will be, because they'll be rendered useless.

But the Essences can be refined into consumables, though, right?

Once we defeat the Death Progg, can we finish searching looting the Vault?

Daxus and Pretzel, who accounted for a hell of a lot of those posts, had been sitting around the hall for way too long.

Of course. We will lock the door from the inside so Mrs. Commerz won't be able to get in and then we'll loot to we're content. We will later tell her we locked it to prevent the proggs from escaping.

You're implying you can actually defeat the death progg.:tongue:

Yes, you'll keep the consumables when the quest is over, and when the death progg dies, you can loot the rest of the vault. There's still that chest taunting you... :look:

Just wanted to add to what has already been said, about Quest 28, to WBD:

It's a very cool quest, the ending was a bit anti climatic, I did not think the villain would be so obvious. But for the rest it was great: You really succeeded in expanding Eubric, very cool. The small stories were fun as well, and so were the non combat stuff like the puzzle and the archery contest.

You also had a great group! The players made the quest also fun to read, the roleplaying was enjoyable to read through, especially Haldor, Nur and Boomingham. The dynamic between the players was also just right, I feel. Everyone had their place, not something that's easy!

All in all, Great job WBD, and great job to the players as well!:classic:

Of course they could.

*Whisper* Hey, pst pst, party of Quest 36. I know how to defeat the death progg. :devil:All you have to do is time the battle so it begins around lunch time. Endgame will have to eat his ham, and he'll just declare you the winners.

Not going to happen. they invented plates you can carry lunch around on a few eosn ago.

Multiple chests, if I remember correctly. :excited:

And more doors. :moar:

Nope, only one chest. :cry_sad:

If I remember my layout correctly, all doors have to be investigated somehwat to get to the final boss battle. :shrug_oh_well:

First thing I am buying once the Dastan Quests are over: upgrades to my weapons. When you are fighting multiple foes with health in the three digits, WP: 5 just doesn't cut it.

Benji vs. Rogue- Shield

Benji vs. Rogue- Miss

Sorrow vs. Rogue- Miss

Lycan vs. Rogue- Critical Hit

Capt.JohnPaul, I believe Wardens have aim (the warden focuses their strike to attack their target with strength equal to their weapon power only) instead of miss. So the Rogue should have been killed by Benji.

Endgame, if we go back to that place on page 19, where we had to swap item to get better items, could we swap 1 gold coin to get those potions back?

Try and find out.

Besides, Ameli's focus is all about a minstrel named
Bustin Jieber
these days. *sigh* Aw well, thanks again."
Szalinski once again headed off, mumbling to himself.
"Fine strapping lad, that one."

:roflmao: That, is great role-playing! :laugh_hard:
