Tell me about it. I was going to make a scene with my PCs in it, but I think the only characters in Heroica that I could make were Nyx, Boomingham, and Althior with his old clothes.

Host a quest for the three of us. THAT would be a fun team.

It also explains why Thormanil's backpack has felt significantly lighter.

I actually glanced over Jebs' style yesterday as well. I also try to force my heroes to use their consumables too, because I as a player never really feel like I need to, and they really build up after some time.

Mallelio in Quest 30 is made of exclusively Star Wars parts.

As is U'vires (Or however you spell that) I believe.

:look: Didn't even realize, but this is true! Ella and XX and U'Stus both also draw a lot from SW. Like Doc, my castle pieces are limited. Knights Kingdom for the most part.

*Snip* The only piece which isn't in a Star Wars set is the head.

Huh. I always thought you'd used the Han Solo head.

Some of the stormtrooper bits might be useful for paladin-y characters.

Over PM, Flipz showed some concepts for Advanced Class characters using clone trooper armor, which didn't really look like it fit in. Now, Stormies are much better than clones ( :OT_fan_grin: ), but I think they'd be too futuristic, too.

I think William gets the record of being knocked out the most times in one battle.

Yep, Tarn has practically nothing left, and no gold to buy any more :cry_sad:

That is exactly what i'm trying to do in 36. I throw tons of goodies at them, but then the battles usually foce them to use them.

In Quest #35, are the Blobs named after Heroes? I see Boomingham, Nur, and Nyx on first glance.

Speaking of which, what is the face being used inside the blobs? it's quite frankly terrifying. :cry_sad:

From full health to one point left in one round? I do not know if I had horribly luck that round, or if I am extremely lucky.

What actuaLly happens to Flipz's character after quest 31 ?

OOC: But I'm Town!!! :cry_sad: Waaaaaah!!! Waaaaaaaaah!!! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!! :sing: :sing: :sing: I'm the Town's Doctor-Cop-Vig! :cry_sad: Don't lynch me! Waaah!

:roflmao: :roflmao:

You mean 20%. Your post would be 20% cooler with pony references.

If that's true Jeb, I'm honoured on Nyx's behalf.

I wish I had a disgusting toxic blob thing named after me! Then again, "Blorrow" or "Blendgame" don't sound quite right...

What happens when all the tablets have been used? Do they fail the battle?

What about "Blyntax"?

Lets hope that Juggernaut has no night actions!

You need to brush up on your diplomacy, Daxus.

Questies - Sorry, things are hectic work-wise, and I have to take pictures as we near the end of the round, so I will update probably within about 12 hours, but I must sleep right now. We're going to need to wait for the other quests to catch up anyway... as you may have predicted, we're all heading towards the final fight. Thanks for the patience.

NOW: Big Question for the interim. This is something that I've given a lot of thought to, but what do you think the end of the game might be? I know that it's years away, but I actually hope that it isn't too far away. I'd prefer the game to go out with a bang after four years rather than fizzle out after seven... but that's neither here nor there (and not a slight to Sandy, even the best games must close out eventually, especially RPGs, as they are a story and the players want a conclusion eventually). What do you think it might entail? All the heroes on one quest? Would that be possible? Will heroes be able to die at the end if KO'd. That would be awesome and I'd totally support it. Who might the final boss battle be against? The Wolfgang? The Houses? Someone we have yet to meet? Will there even be that cut and dry of a conclusion? Will the Hall be destroyed? Will the Veterans play a role? There's so much to wonder. As we approach the one year anniversary, I pose the three questions that are most on my mind: Where do you see the (main) story of Heroica going in the next year, how long do you think Heroica will last, and what is your BEST prediction for the final events of the game when that times comes?

Totally unrelated: just caught up on my reading of Quest 35, and I got to say Arasmyth has really come along as a character. He's pretty funny actually, in a realistic way. I don't know, I just sort of thought he wasn't very developed, but after reading over the quest a bit, he's really taken on a shape of his own recently.

It's been repeatedly hinted that the Wolfgang play a big part of it. I think either they're crushed and corruption is at least purged from Eubric, or become the ultimate 7th house with full control over the others.

I think it will "end" the same way it began: in no place in time in particular, with heroes still in Heroica, but without their players. I think the story will just continue, even though the game will end and people will stop playing. I don't think the game requires an epic conclusion, since it has never really been about beginnings or endings, and there is no main "struggle" that the heroes fight against. Many of the quests deal with much smaller scenarios, usually ending at the end of each one. And as Sandy puts it, it's not good vs. evil, simply humans (and other creatures) surviving in a world of chaos.

Unrelated: I am really excited for Quest 39, Zeph. :moar:

See, that's where I disagree. Every story needs to have its conclusion. I'd be sad, personally, to leave Boomingham behind without knowing where Eubric was headed. I do want to see how the heroes have changed Eubric, or the entire world. That would be the good conclusion. A conclusion can be epic without it being good v. evil - it just shows how the characters and the world have changed.

On our unrelated note, so am I. I think it will be really fun, and I'm excited to see how a non-Wren Zepher Quest is received. And if no one else signs up... well, the team I've got right now would be pretty awesome.

Are the Dastan quests expected to be finished by then, because if so I think it would be a perfect opportunity for a comeback of team Nur, Haldor, and Skrall.

No, though I would be super excited to host the quest that reunites those three. :sceptic: That would be AWESOME. Seeing those three who quested together in their first quest... after all this time... that would be awesome. Someone should host reunion quests for some of the original quest groups!

The final battle of Dastan should be started by then though! It could be a pretty long battle, but still, we're very close to you all coming home... and then I'm hoping to scoop up some Wren Vets to even out the sign-ups for Quest 38.
