Masked Builder Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 I don't understand why, she was the one who caused the whole break up thing... Uh huh, right. Quote
Endgame Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 For such a well role-played class decision, I thought it was kind of unfair that Alexis missed out completely, so - Merry Grogsmas! But Alexis is really making me smash my head on the wall. Haldor, Phil, strangle insult her! Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 I got a level up mushroom! So handy! Quote
Costy Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 *oh2* I was not expecting something this awesome. Thanks Sandy! Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Thank you all! Now I just need to hit something! Quote
Etzel Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 A second diamond? Seems Maurice is all for the shiny, glittery stuff. Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Now I can be Level 15, and unveil a long post, longer than Leos for the advance class, in just 4 battles, although, we got to get past Aquos for that. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Did we decide if Grating Stones can be used on shields or not? Quote
Fred Daniel Yam Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Did we decide if Grating Stones can be used on shields or not? Now now Logically, that wouldn't really work. So technically it's minus 1 WP. Quote
JimBee Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Wow, cool gifts. Thanks for doing this Sandy (and Skyrimguy for suggesting it). Now where to find a red assassin... Quote
Brickdoctor Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Could a Red Assassin be a member of the 108 Stars, or would they be two separate orders? Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Thank you for the Emerald, Father Grogmas! It's what I've always wanted and have never seemed to keep in my possession! (Thanks Sandy!) Also, thanks to all of those who suggested Gifts to me. I thought you could only offer one, and I was going to go back and offer more for at least my entire current party, but was hindered by Home repairs at every turn. Thanks! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
PsyKater Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Wow, this was great! Thanks to skyrimguy and esp. Sandy for this great event. Thanks to anyone for the great suggestions. For a low level Hero like Amma a gift like this probably means even more. Great gifts! Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Thanks Sandy, with this minimizing dust Skrall can kiss his claustrophobia goodbye. Quote
Sandy Posted January 2, 2013 Author Posted January 2, 2013 Did we decide if Grating Stones can be used on shields or not? Grating Stones only work on weapons (although I do wonder how they can affect bows and such...), it's the Bright Polish you want to increase your shield points further. Quote
Chromeknight Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 (edited) Grating Stones only work on weapons (although I do wonder how they can affect bows and such...) Perhaps they sharpen the infinite ammunition. It's the sharpening of musical instruments for the minstrel that is mind-boggling. Edited January 2, 2013 by Chromeknight Quote
Brickdoctor Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Maybe the instruments get covered in gunk from being used in all those battles, which throws off their sound. Using a Grating Stone to scrape all that off makes the instrument more effective. Or maybe you use the Grating Stone to hammer out dents in the instrument, or maybe you use it to alter the shape of the instrument to change its sound to something more powerful. Quote
Flipz Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 The Zeigfrieds exist for a reason, people. And yay for Grogmas! Now I can super-effective all but one type of enemy in the game! Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 (edited) I hope everyone enjoys their gifts! I know that I will. Merry grogmas all! Also, Sandy did I mis-understand or did you say that we could only use these Items for one quest? Or are they permanent? Edited January 2, 2013 by Skyrimguy Quote
Palathadric Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 ~You may add whatever gift was chosen to you into your inventory immediately, but you can only use or equip the item in the quest topic you're on (or Heroica Hall, if you're not on a quest). No complaints or refunds, thank you very much!~ What exactly does this mean? The items will only be useable on the quest we are presently on and once we're finished that quest they'll sit idly in our inventory? Or we're just not supposed to equip them in the Grogmas Gifts topic? Sorry for my not understanding. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 (edited) Confusion! It's Erdy's Amulet of optimism! Edited January 2, 2013 by Skyrimguy Quote
Flare Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 The handcannon is so bad-a$$ Thank you Sandy Claus, er, Father Grogmas! Quote
Wedge09 Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Great gifts, thank you a lot Sandy and merry Grogmas to al Quote
Fugazi Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Father Grogmas was very generous this year, thank you Sandy! And thank you so much Pandora for thinking of Galen and coming up with such a great idea! And thanks Endgame for supporting it! Dannylonglegs' suggestion was also very thoughtful and useful, too bad that I could only get 1 present! I'm also glad that some of my own suggestions made it to the players, I hope you find the gifts useful! Quote
