Lind Whisperer Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 (edited) Hurry up! Everyone wants to fight Flynn! I mean Lind! Or whatever he's called now. Lind's been drunk, in case no one figured it out... Edited June 23, 2015 by Lind Whisperer Quote
Asphalt Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Nobody puts Baby in the Corner. But Lind, that's another situation all together. Quote
K-Nut Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Allow me to remove this distraction, your Majesty. Vindsval reaches out and picks the Whisperer by the scruff of the neck, and moves him to another table, far in the corner, the darkest most distant corner of the Hall. On his way to this dark corer he passes the door. He considers it for a moment, But in the end places the small man facing the corner. He then returns to the table with his friend Annienal. Allow that to be my first service your Majesty. Whether I am chosen to aid your nation or not, I have completed at least a small favor. This might just be my new favorite moment of the game. Didn't someone once get thrown off the balcony like he considered to? Quote
CMP Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Lind's been drunk, in case no one figured it out... So you actually were hoping that would've improved your chances of getting on Quest 135?? Quote
Duvors Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 I've been reading this conversation up to now and I seriously cannot stop laughing. Quote
Myrddyn Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Necromancer? Dragoon? Minstrel? Canoneer? How is Minstrel a sex based class? I assume of those four, Minstrel is the only one that doesn't have obvious potential as a sex class? Quote
Chromeknight Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 I assume of those four, Minstrel is the only one that doesn't have obvious potential as a sex class? If the potential isn't obvious, someone is doing minstrel wrong.... Quote
Flipz Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 If the potential isn't obvious, someone is doing minstrel wrong.... Obviously, if the potential isn't obvious, they aren't doing the minstrel at all. Quote
Sandy Posted June 23, 2015 Author Posted June 23, 2015 Damn my busy life... Quest#135 will launch on Thursday, I simply don't have time before that. My apologies! Quote
Palathadric Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Where's the Heavy Armour in your inventory? I don't see it. Because it's not in my Inventory. It's in my equipment. Quote
Palathadric Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Gah! And I was wondering why in the world I hadn't offered the armour to Annie, I must have subconsciously thought it was Karie in the hall. Quote
Endgame Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Gah! And I was wondering why in the world I hadn't offered the armour to Annie, I must have subconsciously thought it was Karie in the hall. I remember a time I confused Althior and Atramor, and at one point asked myself, "why doesn't Althior have his chicken?" Keep in mind this was back when Taking Down the Jolly Roger was in progress. Quote
K-Nut Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 I remember a time I confused Althior and Atramor, and at one point asked myself, "why doesn't Althior have his chicken?" If I had a nickel for every time someone mixed up their names; I don't recall anyone mixing up the characters. Shame on you! Quote
Khorne Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 If I had a nickel for every time someone mixed up their names; I don't recall anyone mixing up the characters. Shame on you! Way back when the game first started, I used to mix up their names too. Probably because they both start with an 'A' and end in 'OR', with some 'T' thrown in . But that is now long gone, I know who they are now! Quote
LordoftheNoobs Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 I remember mixing up Tarn and Hoke back in the day when I was a lurker before I joined. I think it was because they both had the same head. Quote

Back in the day when we were pissing at each other all the time. It's understandable. I think someone mixed up me and Arthur once or twice too. Way back when the game first started, I used to mix up their names too. Probably because they both start with an 'A' and end in 'OR', with some 'T' thrown in . But that is now long gone, I know who they are now! Now that you mention it, I probably did that too. Quote
LordoftheNoobs Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Strangely enough, I've never once gotten Eric or Erik mixed up. Quote
K-Nut Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Strangely enough, I've never once gotten Eric or Erik mixed up. Maybe it's because they joined at different times? Eric was already established when Erik showed up. I have no idea why I haven't mixed them up either. Quote
Khorne Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Maybe it's because they joined at different times? Eric was already established when Erik showed up. I have no idea why I haven't mixed them up either. Obviously the reason is that one's name is written with a 'C' and the other's with a 'K' . Totally different! Maybe it's because the characters themselves are very different and also the way their minifigures are built? Quote
KotZ Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Since I'm back home for a few days, and I've been wanting to remake Kiray as her Black Knight spec with new armor and can't wait to share, here is Kiray now. What do you guys think? Any suggestions? Quote

Maybe it's because the characters themselves are very different and also the way their minifigures are built? Probably. Althior and Atramor both have dark hair whilst Eri(c/k) has dark hair vs blonde hair. Althior and Atramor are pretty different, though, character wise. Quote
Sandy Posted June 25, 2015 Author Posted June 25, 2015 Obviously the reason is that one's name is written with a 'C' and the other's with a 'K' . Totally different! Also, fantasy names are generally harder to discern and remember than real-life names. Most everybody can spell Elizabeth, despite it being a relatively long name, but Erdathcath is a whole different issue... Quote
Palathadric Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Ever wonder why I called her "Erdy" throughout our whole quest together? Quote
Endgame Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Erdathcath's last name gave me more toruble than her first. :tongue Also, Throlar's last name was a nightmare for me to remember. Quote
K-Nut Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 The only problem I've ever had with character names was missing a syllable or a few letters. I used to say Atamor and Erdacath Quote
