soccerkid6 Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Noooooo! Both Level 14.5s just got Knocked Out! Someone go revive them so we can see Advanced Classes. Don't worry, someone already did. Quote
Bioniclover Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 I just hope Sandy doesn't just show only Ranger and Barbarian hybrids if only Tesni and Alexis reach 15! I wanna see Black Knight or Paladin! Quote
Masked Builder Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Come on Jeb that was a crap round! I want to see the hybrid classes! Thanks for reviving us you two. Quote
Zepher Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 I'm getting a little bothered. Been on pause for nine days... I would like to get back to sign-up for other Quests.... Quote
Jebediahs Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Sandy, Captain JP and I are secretly conspiring to delay the 14.5s from reaching 15...until January 2012! Heh heh J/k Quote
Sandy Posted November 27, 2011 Author Posted November 27, 2011 I'm getting a little bothered. Been on pause for nine days... I would like to get back to sign-up for other Quests.... I understand your frustration. If Capt. JohnPaul does not return by the end of this month, I will terminate the quest personally. Naturally this long absence also makes me consider twice if I let Capt. JohnPaul host another quest again. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Jeb, 142 in one round! That was awesome! Quote

But then again, they've already each got at least two or more gems... Quote
The_Customizer Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 So, Sandy, how long does it take our "fast" ship to arrive at the Pirate's island? Just wondering. Quote
Jebediahs Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Jeb, 142 in one round! That was awesome! My precious warrior! I was hoping he'd get to use his Taunt special making everyone target him allow his companions to score free hits but nooooo! In case anyone following wants to know how that massive hit was calculated (I think it is correct ). A Barbarian's /roll of 2 is "Extra Critical Hit". Other classes' /roll is simply "Critical Hit". The barbarian's critical hit is calculated by taking their Weapon Power, multiplying it by 3 then adding it to their player level (level rounded down) whereas other classes multiply WP by 2 then added to player level (level rounded down). In Tesni's case, the weapon power on Cysgodion is 8. 8 x 3 = 24. 24 added to Tesni's level 14(14.5) = 38. Tesni's extra critical hit was 38 damage. Since she was under the effect of mead/encouraged, she dealt double damage 38 * 2 = 76. The amethyst(darkness) gem on Cysgodion doubles the damage dealt against the orc as darkness is very effective versus humanoids 76 * 2 = 152. The orc warrior had 10 points of SP 152-10 = 142 total damage dealt by Tesni. With his 130 health points, he didn't stand a chance. Quote
K-Nut Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 So, Sandy, how long does it take our "fast" ship to arrive at the Pirate's island? Just wondering. It's probably a never ending sea. Just like the almost never ending Hallway at Ziegfried manor! Quote
Sandy Posted November 27, 2011 Author Posted November 27, 2011 So, Sandy, how long does it take our "fast" ship to arrive at the Pirate's island? Just wondering. As soon as you stop gambling. Truth be told, I added the dice game to your quest because it will be very battle-heavy once you reach the Grotto. So let's just say this is the calm before the storm. Quote
K-Nut Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Question, will you post the ships in their own MOC thread? I'd love to get more pics of them! Quote
Sandy Posted November 27, 2011 Author Posted November 27, 2011 Question, will you post the ships in their own MOC thread? I'd love to get more pics of them! Haha, you really don't! Neither of them is actually complete, both of them are missing the rear. So the pictures contain pretty much everything there is to see. Quote

JimBee Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 My precious warrior! I was hoping he'd get to use his Taunt special making everyone target him allow his companions to score free hits but nooooo! Thanks for showing how it was done, Jeb. It just goes to show how careful the QMs will have to be when creating their battles. We wouldn't want all boss battles to end like that, would we? Quote
K-Nut Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 It's possibly the most unlikely story I've ever heard since the mage and his blue companion. :roflmao: Finnegan is turning into a cult! Quote

Naturally this long absence also makes me consider twice if I let Capt. JohnPaul host another quest again. I am sorry. My vacation didn't have internet, or did it have the needs to access my quest files. But no worry, the boss battle is coming! Quote

Zepher Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 Hey, s'okay! You did warn us for a week, it was these last two days that had me a little worried is all! I was just hoping we'd get back in time. Quote
Sandy Posted November 28, 2011 Author Posted November 28, 2011 Why do people keep misusing the Ji Pei family name? I've already PM'd several people about the issue... Peppermint, you better hurry up with that list of NPCs, since it will clear a lot of the mystery that surrounds the different factions. Quote

I'll mod it to just the locals, it is too confusing to put in every character ever made. Quote

K-Nut Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 I knew you'd like it I should make a decal for a torso. I *heart* Finnegan. You know, if I could make decals... Quote
Zepher Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 Rumble Strike, WBD, Jeb, Tanma, I need experienced heroes on my quest (and some no ones, not trying to deter anyone!). Any of you want to consider tagging along? I know once the current quests let out I'll have more sign ups, but I don't think I even have enough for a quest yet, and I like all your characters . Quote
