Waterbrick Down Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 (edited) The way U'reeves talks is driving me nuts, for that is how I feel after hearing that thing talk!! U'kin are one of my favorite races to write for due their being U'kin. Just read the first half of their sentences which are all you should just read. Sandy will probably ban U'Kin as a playable race now he will probably ban them. I was just debating saving U'reeves to play as a PC, but I didn't want to introduce a whole other race for just a simple janitor. Edited May 20, 2013 by Waterbrick Down Quote
Zepher Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 I was actually on the train two days ago and considered a U'Kin secondary character. Sandy, as it has been well over 24 hours, can we assume Nyx would follow my orders? Quote
Kintobor Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 I never made it a rule that newtyness removes all worn items--and the rules for transformation featured in the Beast Master class explicitly mention you do get to keep your artifacts... And, since the catsuit belongs to a shapechanger, it's conceivable that the catsuit might shrink/grow with her. Heck, wearing the catsuit might make being a newt in combat not quite as bad. Not too sure about all her other clothes though. But I think we all know the true solution. Karie has to become a Beast Warrior with the alt-form of Newt... in addition to Minstrel and Harlot. ~Insectoid Aristicrat You know, I should have expected this. Someone needs to create a class that combines Beast Warrior, Harlot, and Minstrel, just so we can have Were-Newt Karie in a Cat Suit using a Microphone! Quote
CMP Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Could we have an idea about how long each of the quests on the board are intended to be. Two months or less, roughly. Four mandatory battles, five optional ones. Quote

joeshmoe554 Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 "Congratulations! You gained 1000.000 GP, which gives you my family's heirloom So random question here. When I write 1.5, the period separating the whole numbers from the fractional ones is referred to as a decimal point. Decimal being the number system I am using and point because it's a point. So here's the question. When someone writes 1,5 to refer to 3/2, what is the comma called? Quote

I'm not sure I quite understand, but I think you are referring to fractions. If this is the case, I would never use a comma for a fraction because it is unclear. Instead, I'd use a slash as you did for the second one, because it mimics the horizontal line used in writing fractions. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Actually it is fun to talk like this is enjoyable, believe it or not. It kind of reminds me of the effect in Bloodbrick II that made you say everything twice when you took a pill that made you say everything twice in Bloodbrick II is what it kind of reminds me of. So random question here. When I write 1.5, the period separating the whole numbers from the fractional ones is referred to as a decimal point. I think it's still called a decimal mark or a decimal point, whether you use a period or a comma. -Hurricane (15 Gold) Quote

Flipz Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Sorry to have you correct rounds so often Sandy. If its any consolation, you'll be doing it to me in a few short days. I don't think there's a QM in Heroica that's managed to run a perfect battle. Quote
Sandy Posted May 20, 2013 Author Posted May 20, 2013 Sorry to have you correct rounds so often Sandy. No, by all means keep correcting me! I'd much rather have players doublecheck the results than not care what I write up there. Quote
CMP Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Thanks, Zepher. Now my character is paranoid about your Quests' plots too... Quote
Zepher Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Hey, I even mentioned that the guy playing the King was named Johnny when you had the chance to talk to the actors. And Jules said he smelled and acted a bit like a pirate. Did you really think I'd have two NPCs named Johnny? You could have chatted with him then! Quote
CMP Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Hey, I even mentioned that the guy playing the King was named Johnny when you had the chance to talk to the actors. I know, I half-suspected it was him, but assumed if he was a recurring NPC you'd make him a little more obvious than that. Quote
Endgame Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 so, 4 months and three secret bosses? The Apprentice in 56 was just The Apprentice's Apprentice's Apprentice's Apprentice's Apprentice! Then it turns out the Master of the Apprentices is actually Apprentice to the original Apprentice. The chain of command is, in fact, a circle. Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Legonator, how often will the Heroica tropes page be updated? I was enjoy the steady stream of tropes being added, and learning quite a bit about them, but they seem to have ceased, for now. Quote
