Endgame Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Could heroes theoretically pay to get turned into a newt in the arena, so they can buy the scroll off of someone? Quote
Kintobor Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Since I believe I'm the only one who owns it, they'd have to pay a pretty penny for me to cast it. Hey! I could start a business! Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Could heroes theoretically pay to get turned into a newt in the arena, so they can buy the scroll off of someone? Yeah... They could do the same to gain access to the other two newt items I dropped too. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote

Does Sorrow get a family discount when he reaches necromancer? Yeah... They could do the same to gain access to the other two newt items I dropped too. I have the feeling this will become a bigger running gag then me going to the dentist. Quote
Palathadric Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 (edited) Are you telling us that Sorrow had kids? More undead abominations running around. Edited May 21, 2013 by Palathadric Quote
Kintobor Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 I really need to throw that whole fiasco at Scary, Jerry, and Thomas Jefferson. Also, I guess while we're on the topic of oddball items, since Karie's lactose intolerant, should that make her weak to the cheese element? Quote
Endgame Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Are you telling us that Sorrow had kids? *oh* More undead abominations running around. Sarah was indeed pregnant when Sorrow had to leave. Sorrow was engineered to mimic normal life, and even though he has decayed big time over the past couple of centuries, he looked average back when he was 1-40. So his kid would've pretty much been a normal human, maybe would have a longer lifespan. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Still looks pretty good, considering a normal corpse turns into a skeleton in 6 months to a year (I googled it, not something I know from the top of my head). Quote
Palathadric Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 I never thought of Sorrow as a particularly good-looker. I guess I was wrong. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Well, he still has bodily functions and stuff, so that accounts as "better than a bunch of bones". Quote
Palathadric Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 (edited) And I guess a blacked out face is better than a white one with a terrifying grin. (Dreyrugr) Edited May 21, 2013 by Palathadric Quote
Kintobor Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 And I guess a blacked out face is better than a white one with a terrifying grin. (Dreyrugr) So we aren't talking about Karie? Quote
Endgame Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 (edited) Left is Sorrow back when he was 20-25, right is what Sorrow looks like in 66 (after he threw his robes off before fighting the Wolfgang generals.) Yes, that is indeed the same set of peasant's clothing. Edited May 21, 2013 by Endgame Quote
Kintobor Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Wait, if Violetta is in fact related to Sorrow, and if Karie is related to Violetta, does that make Sorrow Karie's great x15 grandfather? Quote
Endgame Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Wait, if Violetta is in fact related to Sorrow, and if Karie is related to Violetta, does that make Sorrow Karie's great x15 grandfather? Correct, to quote a remark from approximately 15 minutes ago: Does Sorrow get a family discount when he reaches necromancer? Quote

Endgame Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 ~Insectoid Aristocrat Plot twist: Sorrow is related to over 75% of all heroes in Heroica hall. He is just that damn old. He may be going down the path of Solid Snake soon enough, though... Quote
LordoftheNoobs Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 QM Note: I just noticed that I had forgotten to edit Werewolf Steerpike's type. He is humanoid/beast, like the other werewolves. I was gonna point that out a couple of days ago, but I figured you knew what you were doing. Quote
Vash the Stampede Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 And I guess a blacked out face is better than a white one with a terrifying grin. (Dreyrugr) Well technically the face is grey. And who says that Dreyrugr is smiling. I mean its not like his planning to kill Pretzel. Although if you zoom into the face enough Dreyrugr is actually NOT smiling. (One of the few lego heads not smiling) So we aren't talking about Karie? I don't know. Is she smiling evilly like this? Plot twist: Sorrow is related to over 75% of all heroes in Heroica hall. He is just that damn old. And what about Dreyrugr? He's more than double Sorrow's age. Extra plot twist: Dreyrugr is your character's distant anscestor. Now look after your elders and give him your loot love. (Even you Pretzel) ....................would Pretzel kill himself if he was related to a demon/vampire/humanoid creature that isn't human? JimBee Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 With what money? Which is why it's on the gold-gaining classes to buy them. See, we're not so bad after all. Yay, balance! Quote
Flipz Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Which is why it's on the gold-gaining classes to buy them. See, we're not so bad after all. Yay, balance! Indeed. If I'd realized you guys didn't have a Phoenix Essence, I would have asked Sorrow to lend one of his to Boomers in that initial equipment-switching surge. (Not so much for the kitchen party, since I don't think anyone expected any of them to get KO'd. ) But, hindsight is 20-20. Quote

Flipz Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Leg, I don't think Sandy's gonna allow a TF gun in Heroica. (If no one else got that, that's OK, it's a webcomic both Legonater and I read. ) Quote
