Dannylonglegs Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 You're fogetting one. I didn't realize that was canon, but in that case, yes, three heroes had a relative die. (and considering half of Heroica is related to Sorrow... ) ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Endgame Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 (edited) Great, MORE guilt for Arthur... Sometimes a little catharsis can help. And don't worry, if Sorrow gets that cloth to a Ziegfried by the end, he'll have some guilt on his shoulders too. I didn't realize that was canon, but in that case, yes, three heroes had a relative die. (and considering half of Heroica is related to Sorrow... ) Yep, is now. Edited May 22, 2013 by Endgame Quote
Scubacarrot Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 (edited) He just has to own it. You can't save them all, and the Wolfgang are criminals. He wants redemption, taking out two of the Wolfgang's leaders seems like a pretty good thing towards that. Edited May 22, 2013 by Scubacarrot Quote

CMP Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Kill a Shadeaux when you're at it, 5! Take out Nemo and make it 6. Hell, take out Hestia and you've killed 5 plus a hero. Quote
CMP Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Who is related to Nemo? Well, he's married to Hestia. Quote
Sandy Posted May 22, 2013 Author Posted May 22, 2013 Enough with killing my NPCs theoretically! Quote
Scubacarrot Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Oh nevermind, you mean Hestia. I didn't consider the veterans to be heroes. You know, NPC and all. By the way, if Nemo dies, I'll be so pissed, I saved that dude every freaking time. To have him die now... Yeah. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Kill a Shadeaux when you're at it, 5! Right! Heck, why not just Kill 'em all!!! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Scubacarrot Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 I'm joking of course, I wouldn't be pissed, but Guts would! Right! Heck, why not just Kill 'em all!!! Sure, the heroes are starting already, hypothermia and all that. Quote
Flipz Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Enough with killing my NPCs theoretically! You're the one who said heads could roll now that everyone's been introduced. Really, though, you asked for it by including Zepher NPCs. Their presence spells doom for all NPCs involved, everywhere. Right! Heck, why not just Kill 'em all!!! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Rocks Fall. Everyone Dies. Quote
Endgame Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 And if you included an Endgame NPC, everyone would get a very long death. (Unless they are an Emperor, then they die instantly and wordlessly.) Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 (edited) Rocks Fall. Everyone Dies. My favorite executive action. This makes my job much easier! And if you included an Endgame NPC, everyone would get a very long death. (Unless they are an Emperor, then they die instantly and wordlessly.) I swear, whenever I have a villain that gets tougher as the battle goes along, I'll have the note read: Endgame Syndrome: When ___ gets to half health, stats change. Screw you. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited May 22, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote
Endgame Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Also, The Regret's fractured spirit is probably chilling in the rafters. Eating popcorn. Quote

Professor Flitwick Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 I don't see why it's so bad that Donny and Violetta die. Many people die in Game of Thrones with plot points unfulfilled. Heck, many people in real life with plot points still unfinished. Makes the world seem more real. And yes, I am talking about the world were I play a sentient ape. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Hey, Donny and Violetta's fate is better than that of any Brickdoctorean NPC. They actually got to come back for another quest. All my villains die in the boss fights. Quote
Palathadric Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Here's to hoping Nagure and Sorrow overrule Arthur. I agree, majority rule should prevail! We win!!! You know while thinking of Skyrim, I had a thought. What if Ulric was really one of the Veterans? Like the Dragonlord. (I say him because Dragonborn) They claimed they had ties to a Veteran, what if they downplayed how big those ties were? Or if they themselves don't know? Also, Heroica could always use more rogue heroes. You've got to be kidding me! Let me guess...male human rogues, right? Left is Sorrow back when he was 20-25, right is what Sorrow looks like in 66 (after he threw his robes off before fighting the Wolfgang generals.) Yes, that is indeed the same set of peasant's clothing. I guess being undead is what makes you look more digital than real. Extra plot twist: Dreyrugr is your character's distant anscestor. Now look after your elders and give him your loot love. (Even you Pretzel) ....................would Pretzel kill himself if he was related to a demon/vampire/humanoid creature that isn't human? Nah! He'd kill Dreyrugr and consider himself "rid of the ancestral curse." All the while clutching that steak in his hand. ...How old is Sorrow actually? Is he older than Pretzel? I thought they were around the same age, but I don't see Sorrow's age in his statistics page. Quote
Shoker86 Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 So are we active again? Can I start RP, or wait for Sandy's post? Quote
Tanma Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Made some more edits to the tv tropes section, feel free to review and make sure I didn't mess up. Quote
