Dannylonglegs Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 (edited) Ooh, ooh! Coercion - The Black Knight offers to protect the party using his shield during the next Round. Each hero in the party must pay Gold equal to the amount of Damage he wishes to be protected from. *The amount can't exceed the SP of the Black Knight, if that wasn't obvious. Well that sucks. Stupid black knights taking all my Robe funds. But in all seriousness, that's definitely too UP... No Party would ever include a BK. Oh fur goodness sake, that idea is just abominable. 'Snow Man can stop us now!!! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited May 23, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 But in all seriousness, that's definitely too UP... No Party would ever include a BK. Good, that would support Docken's point. No, I know no hero would pay. But it fit the class so perfectly that I had to suggest it. Quote

LordoftheNoobs Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 These puns are recieving a frosty reception from me, and I was having such an ice day! Quote
Vash the Stampede Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Icing it's great you're all iglooded in this. I'd freeze up if you didn't. Just like that one time, but please don't Everest about it. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 You sound as bad as my sister's fiance when he was dressed as Captain Cold... Quote
Palathadric Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 It's always been the worst AC, simply because there isn't much that can be done to make it better. While I agree with you, we do have quite a number of Black Knights, so apparently they aren't opposed to the weakness of the class. Palathadric, I'm not sure how you're going to do it but you had better come up with a reason for Pretzel to give Dreyrugr loot. Or else...... Yeah, I'm thinking hard about that and other things. Do I need to buy any more consumables or are we good? Searching, searching, searching through stats...Whatever! Quote

Capt.JohnPaul Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Ya, I like the extortion shield. BK is so underpowered. Docken just listed all those reasons in the Hall. Quote

LordoftheNoobs Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Don't start quest #71 without me, I wanna to on it! :O Quote
Kintobor Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Sorry LordoftheNoobs, I was hoping Steerpike would be over by the time the quest started. I do want all the low levels on a low level specific quest, so after this one I'll see what I can do. It'll probably be Grim Grinning Ghosts 2. Quote
Flipz Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Wouldn't it be awesome if U'reeves actually showed up to help save the day? I can imagine it now... U'reeves Level 15 Janitor Health: 20/20 Ether: 15/15 Equipment: Old Broomstick (WP:1) Also, I may be leaving in an hour or two, and I'll be gone most of the day. Endgame can control Arthur if it's absolutely needed, but hopefully I can get at least one action in today before I have to go. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 While I agree with you, we do have quite a number of Black Knights, so apparently they aren't opposed to the weakness of the class. I've always thought that one of the reasons players might still pick Black Knight would be because of its 'badass connotation'. (Also the reason I think everyone could expect Rogue to be as popular as it is.) Quote
Flipz Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 I put on the TV Tropes page that Violetta the Cat Burglar's real name is Kayla Alderflask. Is that correct, or do Karie and Kayla have different last names? Quote
Sandy Posted May 23, 2013 Author Posted May 23, 2013 It seems there's a great demand on changing Black Knight's SHIELD-skill. There's been some great suggestions, so I'll work something out soon... Thanks for the feedback! I put on the TV Tropes page that Violetta the Cat Burglar's real name is Kayla Alderflask. Is that correct, or do Karie and Kayla have different last names? I thought Karie was adopted, so she probably has the name of her adoptive family... Maybe Kintobor can elaborate on this? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Even though there are only two heads instead of three, for some reason this picture reminded me of the chimera Trigak. Quote
