Kintobor Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 (edited) Alderflask is the last name of Karie's adoptive parents. I don't believe a last name for Kayla was given, so I haven't done anything involving Karie's birth name yet. If Sandy want's to give Kayla a last name, I'll roll with it when the time comes. Edit: And autocorrect believes I wanted to write Mayla instead of Kayla. Edited May 23, 2013 by Kintobor Quote
Sandy Posted May 23, 2013 Author Posted May 23, 2013 If Sandy want's to give Kayla a last name, I'll roll with it when the time comes. I'll pass for now. Violetta is dead now, so I'd rather spend my creative juices on something else. You're free to invent the name yourself, Kintobor. I'm fine with just about anything (as long as you don't make them members of a ruling family, because that would be a total plot overkill ). Quote
Kintobor Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Give a few hours to concoct a last name. I had no intentions of having them be related to the houses, if anything they lived in the Hovels. Karie may steal the spot light, but I try hard to ensure she's not a Mary Sue! Quote

Brickdoctor Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 OoC: This is all taking place at Johon's house, a few miles outside of Eubric Really? I'm confused. How did xxlrocka get there? Quote
Endgame Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 How did xxlrocka get there? He has hijacked Johon's dragon before. That, or he just ran really fast. never know, he is Drake. Quote

UsernameMDM Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 You all were complaining about non-epic deaths, Steerpike's death is perfect. Hoke would have cut off his head. Just to make sure. Hard to trust those were-types to die a simple death. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Yeah, he has been to the place before, so I guess he COULD have theoretically got there. Quote
swils Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 (edited) It doesn't have to make sense. Thormanil made 2000+ gold killing barnyard animals. Hey, feathers and wool are in high demand! People just love their good nights' sleep. You guys snow what? You're driving me crazy! Although I cainada like it. Slush puns are contagious, like a bad cold! What do you guys want to stop?? I'll give anything... My car... My house... I know! You want to be invited to Barbariccia's next concert? Alaska 'bout it! Oh dear! The joke's snowballing... Hey, the snow's finally melted up here. It's been 60 all week! Edited May 23, 2013 by swils Quote
Zepher Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 I stabbed him out of combat too, to try to make sure. I guess decapitation is in high demand, as of late, though. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Could have thrown it at Baba! The head? But then it would ricochet off that force field and bounce back towards the guests. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 The head? But then it would ricochet off that force field and bounce back towards the guests. Don't think it matters as there are now two dinosaur like creatures standing on the stage wanting to eat the heroes. PAN-de-monium! Quote
Flare Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Hey, the snow's finally melted up here. It's been 60 all week! Its been in the high 80's here for quite a few weeks now Quote
swils Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Its been in the high 80's here for quite a few weeks now Shh, you'll make me jealous. It snowed just a week or two ago which, even for Alaska, is really late. But at least now it's warm enough to go frolfing! Also, my out of town work plans fell through due to equipment malfunctions, so I'll be doing the same job as last year, mostly in town. If I was able to participate in a Mafia game on that schedule, then I should be able to be plenty active for Heroica! It also makes me kind of bummed that I didn't sign up for #66. Bringing Baba into it would have been a great chance to get back into Thormy's character/evolution *and* there's the Order 66 similarity, which I love. Quote
Scorpiox Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Could have thrown it at Baba! No, save it for Legonater, I believe he has a collection. Quote

Yeah, I'm kind of disappointed that I didn't sign up for it either. I want to go on one of these Fate of Eubric quests, and Docken would do well with the Town Watch, and even though I didn't know she'd appear at the time I would've loved to confront Baba again, but I had to wait in the Hall for trades. Arthur appears and starts talking straight away. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 I can't wait for the Black Knight additions! Then I can suddenly respond to Docken saying how powerful Alexandre suddenly feels and Docken's argument is completely invalid. Quote

Capt.JohnPaul Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Oh, Sandy, don't forget to add a note to Black Knight: "Immune to Blinded" Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Although to be fair, Sandy said that the Shield would be changed. If Hide and Dodge remain the same (and I don't think they need a buff), Docken's argument still makes some sense. He can't say that they don't do anything unique (I assume; we have to see the update first to decide on that.), but he can still say that they betray their party. Though it would become arguable that the shortcomings of a Black Knight might be worth whatever unique ability he now has. (Again I assume he's getting a unique ability.) Quote
Endgame Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 (Again I assume he's getting a unique ability.) Ability to survive with all of your limbs lopped off? Quote
Kintobor Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Ability to survive with all of your limbs lopped off? No no, he has the ability to call the battle a draw! Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Ability to survive with all of your limbs lopped off? Hey, that could replace Intimidation and fix Mortal Hits at the same time. Overconfidence - The Black Knight grows stronger as he takes Damage, adding the amount of Health he has lost to each attack. Mortal Hit - The Black Knight attacks with strength equal to their Weapon Power added to their Level. Any Health the Black Knight has lost is also added to the strength of the attack. (e.g., WP: 10 + Level 15 + (33 max HP - 30 HP) = 28 Damage) Quote
