Alderflask is the last name of Karie's adoptive parents. I don't believe a last name for Kayla was given, so I haven't done anything involving Karie's birth name yet. If Sandy want's to give Kayla a last name, I'll roll with it when the time comes.

Edit: And autocorrect believes I wanted to write Mayla instead of Kayla. :laugh:

You're free to invent the name yourself, Kintobor. I'm fine with just about anything (as long as you don't make them members of a ruling family, because that would be a total plot overkill :tongue: ).

Give a few hours to concoct a last name. I had no intentions of having them be related to the houses, if anything they lived in the Hovels. Karie may steal the spot light, but I try hard to ensure she's not a Mary Sue!

You all were complaining about non-epic deaths, Steerpike's death is perfect.

Don't think it matters as there are now two dinosaur like creatures standing on the stage wanting to eat the heroes.

Shh, you'll make me jealous. It snowed just a week or two ago which, even for Alaska, is really late. But at least now it's warm enough to go frolfing!

Also, my out of town work plans fell through due to equipment malfunctions, so I'll be doing the same job as last year, mostly in town. If I was able to participate in a Mafia game on that schedule, then I should be able to be plenty active for Heroica! :laugh: It also makes me kind of bummed that I didn't sign up for #66. Bringing Baba into it would have been a great chance to get back into Thormy's character/evolution *and* there's the Order 66 similarity, which I love.

Yeah, I'm kind of disappointed that I didn't sign up for it either. I want to go on one of these Fate of Eubric quests, and Docken would do well with the Town Watch, and even though I didn't know she'd appear at the time I would've loved to confront Baba again, but I had to wait in the Hall for trades.

Arthur appears and starts talking straight away.

Although to be fair, Sandy said that the Shield would be changed. If Hide and Dodge remain the same (and I don't think they need a buff), Docken's argument still makes some sense. He can't say that they don't do anything unique (I assume; we have to see the update first to decide on that.), but he can still say that they betray their party. Though it would become arguable that the shortcomings of a Black Knight might be worth whatever unique ability he now has. (Again I assume he's getting a unique ability.)

Hey, that could replace Intimidation and fix Mortal Hits at the same time.

Overconfidence - The Black Knight grows stronger as he takes Damage, adding the amount of Health he has lost to each attack.

Mortal Hit - The Black Knight attacks with strength equal to their Weapon Power added to their Level. Any Health the Black Knight has lost is also added to the strength of the attack. (e.g., WP: 10 + Level 15 + (33 max HP - 30 HP) = 28 Damage)
