Vash the Stampede Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Oh no, it'll still drop the loot. It just can't be stolen before it is dead. For some reason your comment makes no sense to me. *rereads BK shield skill* Oh so it steals it anyway, I thought the stealing only occurred if the BK kills the opponent on a shield roll. Fail reading right here. Quote
Endgame Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 (edited) Not like the enemy doesn't drop the loot when its dead anyway. If that was the vase, then the Black Knight really would be an arrogant prick. Edited May 25, 2013 by Endgame Quote
Tachyon Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 (edited) But what if the special feature of the enemy is its weapon ? Like what happens if a BK were to steal Dark Combrys from Undead Daxus ? Edited May 25, 2013 by Zakura Quote
Endgame Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 It is only in the loot list. For example, we fought 8 wolfgang goons in 66, all of them armed with some sort of a weapon, but none of them dropped their bows or daggers. Quote
Flare Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 (edited) CJP, its not fair that all of your enemies are immune to instakill Its like making all enemies pierce SP, or having all enemies immune to elements that they're weak to. Edited May 25, 2013 by Flare Quote
Endgame Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 And its not like you don't get money. Having them being immune to assassination is probbly a good thing for you. Quote

The yellow one isn't. You got rid of the green one. You freakin' blew up the red one. When you want to capture something, I add in those. (It's a safety so you don't instakill your objective. For example, you might have killed all the spitosaurs before they got below 50 health.) Quote
Endgame Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 "Dinosaur meat, you say? Hmm, I wonder if it would go well with some sage and cloudberry...? What the hell, let's go find out!" Huzzah, that actually worked! Quote

Brickdoctor Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 "Hello, people of Eurobricks!"The Regret's Soul, Level 62 Ancient Passive Specials: Nice Try: No items can be stolen from The Regret's Soul. Drops: Animutilav (WP: 150, transforms into a sword when used by a hero. Makes any amount of damage equal sudden death to the hero.) And anyone find the irony how tank Docken is the only one able to use that OP weapon without dying. Equip the Cobweb Cowl, the Mail of the Renegade Commander lets me take Free Hits from enemies up to Level 92 without taking Damage, Counterstrike it to death. Mwahaha. But what if the special feature of the enemy is its weapon ? Like what happens if a BK were to steal Dark Combrys from Undead Daxus ? Sandy said it is up to the QM to decide if stealing the loot changes the enemy's stats.By the way, this can also be countered with enemies that steal from a hero's inventory on Special Damage. We've had that before already, I believe. So Guts begins his move to power. Can't wait to see Hybros, Guts, and Docken on a quest together again. Hail, King Guts! Quote
Palathadric Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Hail, King Guts! I bet none of you knew that Monk Pretzel's cross was actually to symbolize lifestealer, eh? Can anyone guess who Pretzel's god is? Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 (edited) Interesting Question: What companies are there aside from "the Shadeaux" and "the Hinckwells"? I know there's the "Miranda Trading Company". Fleur's fledgling company is called "Beyland Enterprises" (not EVIL Inc.). I imagine Roric's Company has a name... and I was thinking of introducing another small company based in a village near Duplova in a later Quest run by a man named Utani... Are there any other named/unnamed Companies floating around in the world? ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited May 25, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Don't forget the struggling Sullivan's Fishing and Shipping. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 (edited) Don't forget the struggling Sullivan's Fishing and Shipping. Right! What's its current status, by the way? I guess I should also include the "Rihts's" Cloth and Clothing company. I think we should have a list somewhere of existing companies and maybe also named ships and Captains... (that might be more work. There's allot more ships than companies.) ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited May 25, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Right! What's its current status, by the way? Presumably, Sullivan left the company to someone in his will, though I have not made a story that deep. But if you would like to use it for something, just ask. I also remember Sullivan doing a business deal with another captain in Quest #60. Quote
CMP Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 There's the Operire from Quest 51, but they're a little more than a merchant company. Quote

Endgame Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Preview for Quest 70, ahoy! "Why we are here? Why, ladies and gentlemen, the answer is simple... we are exploring!" "Journeying!" "Spelunking!" "Seeing everything the world has to offer!" "And stuff!" (No, 70 is a Stealer quest, not a Progg quest - though I figured since I moved Proggs to Eubric, my job to integrate them. Expect plenty of cameos.) Quote
