No, all four of their previous leaders got murdered... and the fifth, ultimate one has already died of the equivalent of ether cancer. They're just rebuilding and trying to live the quiet life.

We should probably kill them all just to be sure. :devil_laugh:

And you thought orcs had it bad in terms of prejudice... At least orcs are humanoid. :sadnew:

"In my travels I came across a minotaur writer, S. Langhorne Clemens who said, 'It is better to deserve honors and not have them than to have them and not deserve them.' I'm not here for the glory but rather for the experience this quest provides. Of course, any loot is appreciated." En Sabah Nur grinned.

Mark Twain, AKA S. Clemens, nice one.

I'm still not sure if there was ever an official ruling on the genie lamps... was it three "wishes"/uses for the elemental jinns and infinite usage for Mediq and the like?

Chromeknight goes through the act of sounding like the janitor and solves the puzzle, and then Legonater just charges in and declares that they're heroes.

LEEGGGOOOONAAAATOOOORRRRR!!!!!

Also, was there another way to solve that puzzle? 'Cause I got 2, 4 (I think, I actually forget what I got, but it wasn't the one shown as correct.) :look:

Edit: Also, love what's happening there too.

That was my guess as well, but:

Thinking that each color represents a number with each 1x1 brick being a digit, so bright green is a 3, 3x3=9, sand green is a 9, 3x9=27, reddish brown is a 2 and dark green is a 7, 7x2=14 with 2 being the number entered for dark tan, orange is a 1 and tan is both entered as a 4 and set to a 4 as a result of the equation.

But if that logic is correct, Chromeknight's numbers (8 and 6) work, too, and both solutions are correct. 3x3=9, 3x9=27, 7x8=56.

(So I assume that you can enter any number that when multiplied by 7 equals a two-digit number in the first slot and the number in the one's place of the product in the second slot.)

I was most saddened by the loss of my loyal steed which I had for what.. 3 days?

Actually, the Amulet doesn't itself make you faster, in-universe it summons the horse so you can ride it. (Just to make things more realistic in your inventory.) So you can still roleplay having the horse if you want to, you just have to summon him with your Amulet instead of, say, going to get him from a stable.

It's a miracle! The age we live in huh?

Is it bad that I can't picture Dreyrugr as anything but a writer now?

He just wants to get Inspired for a coin.

Not really it just means I am Dreyrugr is a good lier, which I'd say would help in many a situation. Although it is amusing that you can't see a ruthless 1000 year old vampire as anything but a writer.

He just wants to get Inspired for a coin.

Actually I was thinking more get the QM to give me info but I'll take inspiration any time.

Sorry Brickdoctor, your solution is not correct. There is only one correct solution.

You've reused the digit 2 in the third line, despite the bricks being coloured differently.

ReddishBrown=/= dark tan.

As for ruining the ruse, meh, I couldn't have sustained it once we were in anyway, Nerwen isn't U'kin. It was just a way to get in, that's all.

And you will note, Nerwen said that the janitor's name was U'reeves, not that she was the janitor. But was quite happy for that to be what the listeners assumed. Nerwen strives not to tell outright lies, but is adept at misdirection and creating incorrect assumptions.

How honest of you :innocent:

Derp! I can't believe I didn't realize that! :wall: Looks like those street thugs have better puzzle-solving skills than I.

Apologies to both Sandy and my fellow Quest 66ers. A hastily arranged trip to see family this weekend led me deep into the beautiful English countryside:

Here you can see that it is unspoilt by such troublesome things such as mobile phone masts and wifi ( :cry_sad: ) and as a result I was thus temporarily rendered unable to post. Apologies all.
