PsyKater Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 My goodness, it is so flat!! You've never been to the Netherlands, right? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Sorry Brickdoctor, your solution is not correct. There is only one correct solution. You've reused the digit 2 in the third line, despite the bricks being coloured differently. ReddishBrown=/= dark tan. Oh! That makes sense. I knew I'd used the number twice, but I never considered that two different colors had to represent two different numbers. Seems obvious now, but I was thinking of each color as a variable, not as a number itself. (x = 2, y = 2, var reddishBrown = 2; var darkTan = 2;) Quote
Flipz Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Apologies to both Sandy and my fellow Quest 66ers. A hastily arranged trip to see family this weekend led me deep into the beautiful English countryside: *pic snip* Here you can see that it is unspoilt by such troublesome things such as mobile phone masts and wifi ( ) and as a result I was thus temporarily rendered unable to post. Apologies all. Wow... There are not a lot of things that would make me willingly relinquish internet access...but to get pics like that might just be worth it. Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 "That would be Sir Thothwick, a brave, polite, and loyal warrior, with good instincts and an exceptionally perceptive mind. He's a good Metasimian to know, and a better one to befriend." Arthur exchanges a glance with Thothwick, and smiles hopefully. Don't know why everyone is so dismissive of Arthur, he's so nice! Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 OoC: Double Negative. So he has heard something about Blue Assassins... I can't tell if this is a joke or not. I wish language always worked that way, but I think in this case it's just part of the NPC's accent. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 (edited) I can't tell if this is a joke or not. I wish language always worked that way, but I think in this case it's just part of the NPC's accent. It's A joke, which is why it's OoC. If I actually thought that I'd have said, Sylph thought about the Mercenary's words. 'ain't heard nothing'... Perhaps he was trying to hide his intentions with messy grammer... But of course Sylph would not think that, because that would be hillariously insane. And Sylph is not hillariously insane. I was going to link to the Collegehumor "Grammer Nazis" skit on Youtube, but I decided not to. Which is not to say Natnail couldn't be lying... Everyone lies. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited May 26, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote
Scorpiox Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 My goodness, it is so flat!! That's true. Pandora, I'm guessing somewhere near East Anglia, is that right? Quote
Pandora Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Wow... There are not a lot of things that would make me willingly relinquish internet access...but to get pics like that might just be worth it. Thanks Flipz. That's true. Pandora, I'm guessing somewhere near East Anglia, is that right? No, sorry. Somewhere along the Oxfordshire/ Berkshire border; at the top of a lot of hills, which is why it looks so flat. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 You've never been to the Netherlands, right? I went to Denmark, that was flat too. I guess when you live in South Wales a lot of places are flat, especially when over the course of a handful of miles you go up and down some pretty steep inclines! I live near Pontypool, take a gander on google and you'll see what I mean! Quote
Endgame Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 "If I get on that quest, I'm betraying the watch. I'm not going to let the poor get stepped on." Lilith proceeds to enter the hall to check signups, hearing Romulus... Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Lilith proceeds to enter the hall to check signups, hearing Romulus... And it's not actually "the poor get[ing] stepped on", it's a Wolfgang armory. Quote
Endgame Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 People have principles. Whether or not they're accurate, well... Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 You can imagine what I meant. Oh, I didn't see your earlier post about your belief that what the Wolfgang are doing is good.Good thing Docken can't hear you. Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 But wouldn't Lycan go there to sabotage the dismantling of the armoury? Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Oh, I didn't see your earlier post about your belief that what the Wolfgang are doing is good. Good thing Docken can't hear you. Good thing Docken can't roleplay even if he did. Quote
Endgame Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 (edited) But wouldn't Lycan go there to sabotage the dismantling of the armoury? Ooh, sabotaging a sabotage? I'd like to remind everyone that this isn't strictly a wolfgang quest... someone else is going to be stepping in for another go with the heroes. Edited May 26, 2013 by Endgame Quote
Kintobor Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Ooh, sabotaging a sabotage? I'd like to remind everyone that this isn't strictly a wolfgang quest... someone else is going to be stepping in for another go with the heroes. The Regret, right? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Good thing Docken can't roleplay even if he did. It wouldn't be purely for roleplay reasons. Docken cares about loot, XP, and finishing the goals of quests, so anyone who believes that a faction that doesn't pitch quests is good and who plans to betray his employer is someone who would directly conflict with the non-roleplaying goals of heroes he quests with who are like Docken. So I would try to convince him otherwise, and if I can't, then I would make a mental note of his being a hero with whom I don't want to quest. Quote
Endgame Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 The Regret, right? C'mon, I already said who is going to be the antagonist is and this one, and its not The Regret. I'm just being quiet about it now that I've put the quest pitch up. Quote
Palathadric Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Although, with a name like Lycan or Romulus, I would consider it a miracle if he goes on any Town Watch quest. Somehow I think Endgame will still pick him... Quote

I'm just being quiet about it now that I've put the quest pitch up. I'm pulling your leg Endy! Also, BoyWonder, Romulus doesn't like sewers? Isn't both mine and Endy's quests taking place underground? Quote
