Drake will try and get everybody to notice him. He's that one of a kind character who will do anything if he wants to, unless he's in a battle of sorts. In which case, he will focus on what he's supposed to be doing, and he will try his best to do it right and if he doesn't then he goes into some state of depression that lasts until he gets drunk again.

In short, he can do whatever he wants until he gets drunk and falls asleep. After that, he will stay in some dark corner of the hall for some while before going back to business again, and the cycle repeats.

Also, next up in the Drake timeline is his discovery of a ship that can fly, which he promptly uses as a home/transportation vehicle.

That's not the point. The point is the way that your character does things appears both attention seeking and pointless. As when Bricksandparts was roleplaying in his character's house, you came over and ruined the scene without being asked to. No-one will want to roleplay with you if you act in this way. Semi-quoting Scubacarrot: make sure that you're only irritating characters, and not players.

There you go, it makes perfect sense.

Also, make sure to install hidden compartments below the lower deck (There's a section there for ballast usually, right? Not too familiar with the smaller ships of this era.), and definitely hire a Pongcanis first mate.

Just remember to install a lounge with a game table.

Pfff. Nerwen didn't even seem interested in it, and now she wants to use it to smuggle? Fine... As long as those thugs swear loyalty to Guts. Wow. They could be his militia.

I seriously hope you're joking, because if you're not, you have to start respecting other players or get kicked out of this game. Your character is not all-powerful, he can't do whatever to whomever on the lame excuse of being a drunken fool.

Without mutual respect, this game isn't going to work. It will crash and burn with shuriken-throwing crusaders.

Then why has he been doing it for his entire extent of Heroica participation :look:

The beauty of that enemy. That should be one of Heroicas Big Bads.

Crusaders have already appeared in a quest, though; I used them as the old uniform of the Kingdom of the Lion. (In the Dastan Trilogy introduction, the king of the Lions uses the Crusader torso, and in my interlude for Quest 53, it's a part of the oldest suit of armor in the hall that Luke and Leonard walk through to get to the library.)

I did consider including shuriken-throwing Crusaders in Quest 4 as a random encounter, but I thought it was a concept so ridiculous that it was better left as one of those silly things we did when the game first started. Something to which we could still have fun making references, but something which shouldn't actually be seen in a quest.

It's one of Heroica's countless inside jokes, like newtity, and dentistry!

There can only be one in the quest. The hero who slays him becomes the next "Ninja Highlander".

I like it, and the hero inherits the kilt, bagpipes and pair of katanas

I'm only butting in now since people have started to complain vocally. I can't micromanage everyone's behaviour, so everyone's responsible in their part for keeping this game fair and clean. I will only intervene if things go totally overboard, which now seems to be the case.

Is that a reference to something? I'm not familiar with it.

No, it's not. I saw Crusader with shurikens reference and started thinking of some hilarious combos

Oh, okay. The shuriken-throwing Crusader thing, though, is funny because it's one of those ridiculous things that got created as a result of the things we did when we were all Heroica's first newbs. You can't really purposely create something equally ridiculous and end up with something equally funny or infamous.

You underestimate the popularity of internet memes. :look:
