Brickdoctor Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Ooh, theoretical alternate class outfits... sounds like fun. Those would probably be different. (And obviously non-canon, of classes that Docken won't or can't ever change to.) Quote
CMP Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Oh, I have a few theoretical outfits. Not as out of this world (pun totally intended) as Alien Karie, but still. Necromancer Atramor: And Infiltrator Atramor: Quote
LordoftheNoobs Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 ...Is that an undead McCaffery in the first one..? Quote
CMP Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 ...Is that an undead McCaffery in the first one..? It might be. It was quite a while ago, but I distinctly remember how much of a pain in a megablocks it was to make a skeletal chicken on that scale, keep it in one piece, and manage to get Atramor to hold it long enough to snap a picture. Quote
Kintobor Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Undead McCaffery: Just... yes. Also, totally rolling with Alien Karie as ONE of Karie's many different alternate universe counterparts. The Karie everyone knows and loves (to abuse ) is Karie Prime, or the one all others deviate from. So in all honesty, as long as the characters the same, we could see Black Knight Karie, Town Watch Karie, Necromancer Karie, heck, even Gender Bent Karie! Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 I love your use of the cloth elements, Pie. The Infiltrator also looks great in the darker tones of its typical red and blue. Quote
Kintobor Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 It's only a matter of time before Sandy uses all these alternate reality/ career choices that the heroes could have made/ could have been and runs a battle with them. *winkwinknudgenudge* Quote
CMP Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 (edited) I really liked the idea (and build) of undead McCafferey. Maybe I'll try to fit it in again, or wait for an opportune moment in a Quest. I love your use of the cloth elements, Pie. The Infiltrator also looks great in the darker tones of its typical red and blue. I can never bring myself to build an Atramor without a cape or my custom overcoat anymore. Just feels incomplete without one. A little too dark, I must say. I think my free trial on Photoshop was running out and I went overboard on it. It's only a matter of time before Sandy uses all these alternate reality/ career choices that the heroes could have made/ could have been and runs a battle with them. *winkwinknudgenudge* I came up with the most insane concept for a body swapping special before. If I remember right, the class, levels and the player stayed together, and got swapped with another's. So say you had Karie and Nessa (because who else could this befall?), and Karie rolls the special, and it ends up being Nessa. You're still controlling a level 11 Rogue (because classes and levels are all in-character experience, and part of the mind, in my world)...but your inventory, character, and everything else was Nessa's. So you have a ton of weapons and artifacts you can't use, and the humiliation of having to be somebody else for the duration of one battle. Best part is? The way it's done allows for multiple swaps. So you could have Karie's mind in Dreyrugr's body, Nessa's in Karie's, and Dreyrugr's in Nessa's. And now that I remembered how it worked, I can make note of it to use in a future Quest. It's so dangerously unhinged and yet so destructive at the same time! Edited May 29, 2013 by CallMePie Quote

It can be a great character moment, as well as incredibly entertaining! While on the topic of body swapping, I have a quest planned that's based on the Cremia Ranch invasion from Majora's Mask. The party protects the livestock from waves of oncoming alien invaders trying to steal all of the livestock, and potentially the players! One of the enemies is the Alien Infiltrator, which Alien Karie just so happens to be. The special gives the Alien Infiltrator the same look, weapon bonus, and positive status effects as the player who rolled it to them. So let's say Nessa rolled Special, and the Alien Infiltrator changes their appearance to that of Nessa's. On top of the benefits the Alien Infiltrator gets from disguising themselves as the affected player, there's a 50/50 chance that Nessa's hit instead of the Alien Infiltrator if it's attacked by anyone else in the party but Nessa. I hope that's not too confusing to understand! Edited May 29, 2013 by Kintobor Quote

Dannylonglegs Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 (edited) What happened to that one picture of Druid Sylph? It's still in the Training Page. I never updated because I didn't know how to do the thing that Sandy did to my first one. Amusingly enough, the pic I use never even represented how he really looks. The twin swords thing never existed. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited May 29, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote

UsernameMDM Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 You guys ought to share! I have a few Boomingham outfits I've considered, but have never pictured. I have Black Knight, Paladin, Warden, Mystic Knight 1 & 2, Chi Monk, Dragoon & Paragon. Just need some parts to finish them out. Quote

Dannylonglegs Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 (edited) Tadaa! I can't seem to get the border though. Agreed, Nessa and Karie would be interesting to see. Leave Dreyrugr out of it though. Flipz Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 K-Nut, is Althior a Necromancer or not?! Revive Tensi with Ether, it's a hell of a lot cheaper than an Essence, ya dummy! Quote
Peppermint_M Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 I have never really thought about switching class for Tesni. I still can't come up with which class to move to next even! Maybe next week I can build some, I'm not with my LEGO for the next few days. Quote
herrJJ Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 I probably should read this more Body swapping, ey? Sounds fun Quote

Regulator would have been perfect for you... Quote
Peppermint_M Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 I know... I was hoping for it too. Was pretty frustrating that the class was determined by being on that quest and that quest alone. Quote

Necromancer Atramor: -snip- And Infiltrator Atramor: -snip Awesome stuff, I might give Regulator Haldor a go a bit later, just for fun. Tadaa! I can't seem to get the border though. Microsoft Paint is your friend. Just load up the picture there, paint the border, and then save it as a .PNG file to retain clarity. I've done the same for all of Haldor's looks.
