TheBoyWonder Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Rp wise I would say Nagure or Romulus, just on size. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Rp wise I would say Nagure or Romulus, just on size. Sylph would like to think that Sylph would win, but I don't think he would mechanics wise. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Alexandre would pierce everyone's SP and steal their items. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Alexandre would pierce everyone's SP and steal their items. And Sylph would blind him and bite his SP down until he could kill him. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Unless I stole your scroll first! Oh, right, forgot you were a black knight. I'll have to get you first and then I'll be alright! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
LordoftheNoobs Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Just wondering, did anyone find Grimwald's comment about Helvetia's nipples funny? :D Because that's what was intended, I didn't mean it to be inappropriate. :P ;) Quote

Jebediahs Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 In a role playing fight, why would anyone let an opponent read? A thrown weapon would disrupt and distract a reader or a quick cantrip would set the scroll parchment alight. RP-wise, creativity > x. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 (edited) Well, there is a reason there's mechanics... otherwise everyone could be as powerful as they wanted to be. Sylph could have memorized the scroll of blind if it's all RP. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited May 31, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote
Flare Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Personally I think Benji is pretty powerful... I mean look at him, he's completly DESTROYING an Allanoid Quote
Peppermint_M Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 It's Cysgodion isn't it? My lovely lovely dark blade. Look how shiny and pretty he is, *smooths the pommel* Yeah, I see a handful of the mages and some of you other heavy hitters to be a threat in a battle like that. But hey, if maybe the Doomed things could ever happen (I really want to be a Paragon of DOOOOooM) then we see what happens Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 (edited) Arn't You guys forgetting the dual Wp:17 Daggers of destiny? /Kills-4-heroes-in-one-round I'd say Nagure, Cronk, Benjii and Romulus (He's a werewolf. That's like invincibility.... ish. Well until Nessa comes along with her silver crossbow bolts.) Talking of a Heroica Hunger games, It would be cool if we had.... Guilds within the guild. Something like that.... Edited May 31, 2013 by Pyrovisionary Quote
Flare Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Arn't You guys forgetting the dual Wp:17 Daggers of destiny? Your weapons are pretty powerful, thats to be sure. (I should know, I gifted you with them ) I think that Sarge needs to level a little more before taking on some of the higher level heroes, though Talking of a Heroica Hunger games, It would be cool if we had.... Guilds within the guild. Something like that.... Sounds like it could be an interesting quest... Go for it Quote

Flipz Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 There's a browser game I play, Fallen London, in which, due to the impermanence of death, a sort of game of murder has arisen. Death is not always permanent in Fallen London. This permits the practice of the violent but strangely boyish game of murderous gentlemen's tag called the Game of Knife-and-Candle. Perhaps, given the protections of the Veterans, a group of overconfident and bored Heroes might invent such a game for themselves? For inspiration... (And, if anyone wants to join FL--I do recommend it--joining through my profile page earns me coffee, which is more than a little helpful for me. ) Quote

There already are aren't there? Things like the Society for Oppression of Witches and Guts' gentle sounding out of heroes to support his 'kingship', the small group that support the Wolfgang, the older heroes from quests #1-3, those that fought in Dastan... Admittedly some of those groups overlap, and membership is... informal, but groupings exist. And could easily be the seeds of more overt alliances. Quote

Healing or elemental spells are the types that can be committed to memory. Quote
