Brickdoctor Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 How much did you buy the Overkill Gloves for anyway? I believe it was 900 for them and the Stingy Gloves. Quote
Flare Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Skrall would do great with them as well. How much did you buy the Overkill Gloves for anyway? I NEED overkill gloves for the next time I visit the Fields of Glory... Quote

Flipz Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I believe it was 900 for them and the Stingy Gloves. That is correct. They cost 700 gold direct from vendor, I paid a 50 Gold delivery charge for each item I bought from Galen. Man, Hunter with Overkill Gloves...finally there'd be a non-Rogue class that would find it profitable to chug Nostrum. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I don't think Tesni can Counter if the Damage is redirected to Atramor, right? The Damage is redirected and then calculated, not calculated then redirected, so it's just a plain Damage roll for Atramor. (This is also why the Damage is only affected by the defenses and immunities of the hero with Aura, not the hero who rolled it, as I said last time.) Quote
Zepher Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 (edited) That's what I said originally, but Sandy corrected me. I agree its a bit of a double standard, but oh well. I understand it as well, though, as if Atramor rolled a 4 it would have a different effect. This is exactly why I asked so many times if the hit is redirected to the Aura, or just the damage. The problem is, it's not just a plain Damage roll; Counter replaces Miss, not Damage. So if it were redirected to Atramor, that'd be a roll of Poison, which I can't really do anything with since it's an offensive attack. Quote
Kintobor Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 (edited) Okay, has anyone started building The Sealion? I'm currently working on it and I'm far enough into it that I can take it apart without any real loss on my part. Edited June 6, 2013 by Kintobor Quote
UsernameMDM Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 New player character photo op: what does your pc look like when they are not on a quest in the Hall or around Eubric? Surely they don't lug around all of that armor and weapons everywhere, everyday?! Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 New player character photo op: what does your pc look like when they are not on a quest in the Hall or around Eubric? Surely they don't lug around all of that armor and weapons everywhere, everyday?! I always envisioned Thothwick wearing his old suit underneath his armour. I believe I've made reference to Thothwick unfastening his armour to reveal his suit, but I'm not sure I specified which. Quote

So if it were redirected to Atramor, that'd be a roll of Poison, which I can't really do anything with since it's an offensive attack. Oops. That's tricky then, because most classes don't take Damage on a roll of 4. Usually it's a Miss or a Meditate or a minor action like Aim or Heal Less. I can understand the ruling in this case. (The Damage taken was still applied to Atramor's Defenses and modifiers, right?) New player character photo op: what does your pc look like when they are not on a quest in the Hall or around Eubric? Kintobor Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Karie wears the same outfit everywhere she goes. She only wears the Catsuit on special occasions (or until she realizes it's her dead sisters and then the weirdness sets in. Quote

He wears a white shirt, black trousers and a small bag containing his gems. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Alexandre walks around in the same armor everyday. All the time. He does have enough space logically. He only has a sword and a feather duster as weapons. All consumables could fit in a bag or something. Quote

Palathadric Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Is it just me or are those overkill gloves way over-powered. I mean, sticky gloves cost 500, these only cost 700 originally and it can pay back far more than that. Just my thoughts... Were those approved by Sandy? Quote

Arthur is stacking effects and elemental weaknesses in his favor. There were no objections to it when it was posted in 48 months ago, so My sticky gloves have already paid me back over triple the price. If a nerf is needed, though, nerf I shall. Quote
