No, Netflix isn't, but if you have an account (or can con someone into giving you their info, like I did), Dr. Who is free.

Well that is true, and Doctor Who is certainly worth the time. Sadly, I've found their collection of the original Dr. Who to be somewhat limited.

That's due in part to the fact that many of the original episodes are lost, as they weren't saved back in the day. In fact, there are substantial rewards out there for people who can deliver even so much as the script for some of those lost episodes...

OOC: What just happened? I'm as confused as Sorrow when the Fantome Croise laughs.

(I mean your gray sentence and the quote with the red bolding)

I'm also confused as to the relevance. I mean, I recognize the characters being referenced, but I don't recognize the significance of what Alex said.

They were wondering how Maude knew Alexandre's name, and so I bolded and highlighted Alexandre introducing himself. Sorry for the confusion!

Aura, blinded and witches are a match made in heaven. :hmpf_bad::laugh:

No, I just deviously planned to have all three at my disposal.:tongue:

It's a very smart build, particularly with that damn amulet I gave you.

I'll be going Regulator soon enough, so at least the Special Mirror spam will stop.

As badly as I want to see Regulator, I think you may suddenly have the best build in the game. Even without anyone blinded/hexed, there is only a 1/6 chance of anyone hurting your party at all.

You should also invest in some Smelling Salts, Pie. When you're not trying to spam Special Mirror, you can still use the Pheles Rod to heal yourself whenever you drop below half HP, and then avoid taking all the Free Hits by switching to another weapon with your second turn.

Already have a few for just that. Although this Quest I haven't had to because I have Ellaria in the party (with constant healing and Inspiration) as well as Russel, who can put Conspirator to better use, not to mention a horde of undead to prevent the free hits in the first place.

Why. The hell. Did no one in our party bring Phoenix Essences? I could have SWORN Boomers had a couple of the Chaotic Essences from 66, but noooooo.

Also: reading, people! It's not hard to read people's battle actions and pick a different target! :sceptic:

Pretty sure Thothwick stole all 9 of the Cosmic Essences. :look::tongue:

You're getting one for this battle, and there will be opportunities for more down the road.

Arthur suggested Cub or Bomber - Bomber was incapacitated, and since it had been 24 hours, I chose the action that would cause the least amount of free hits. 9I'm assuming Em would agree with Arthur anywya, so.)

I just realized: Boomingham should have 20 more gold. Remember when Sylph loaned him 20, like 2 years ago? Well, Boomingham returned it twice! Unless he didn't subtract it the first time (when it was payed in ore, and I was not at-all active/Sylph was in a trance), then he returned his debt two-fold. I'm going over my really old posts and I'm becoming aware that in the very beginning I had a slightly different idea about who Sylph was. It's quite funny.
