Johon - Troll FR

Bricksandparts, you can't attack with a melee weapon while you're Bound.

And intentionally miss gaining experience? Brickdoctor, I'd expect better of you!

 Fair enough.

And he shall be known as the master of dragons, for he holds their very fates in his hands...

One barrel roll while you're riding and your very fate is in the hands of the ground. Don't know if your dragon would take kindly to its master being known as a Dragonslayer.

Pah, Thormy will obviously have a harness installed for riding so that such acrobatics will be a breeze!

And, hey, don't we all know that guy who likes to puff his chest out and act all tough, but really is a pushover and we wouldn't mind if he just went away? The tale of the Obsidian Dragon shall go down in draconic history as a tale of what happens when you talk the talk but can't walk the walk!

Pyro, are you sure Dual Strike works like you specified in your second attack? As far as I know, it says something like targeted enemy and next listed, or targeted twice.

Has Sarge been choosing the second target the whole time? :look: You're right, obelix, the FAQ states that Dual Strike weapons Damage the chosen target and the enemy after it in the list of enemies or the chosen target twice.

Thanks for looking over our quest. Yes I think so, but this is the first time I noticed something was amiss. The way I understood Dual Strike mechanic was as you described it - if the first condition was not met (e.g. no enemies are listed after the targeted one but there are some above it or there is only one enemy left) the second part of the mechanic triggers.

I had assumed it worked slightly differently, allowing the hero to opt to hit one enemy twice even if there were more enemies. But your interpretation makes a lot of sense, considering that that's exactly how Triple Shot works.

I know Dual-Strike was clarified to allow the user to choose to target one foe with both strikes, but other than that I think it still works just as you described.

I'm also pretty sure that Dual-Strike transfers effects--Leg, those Cell Soldiers should still be Jinxed, since Jinxed has no timer.

They are still Jinxed (everyone hit, after Sarge consumed his lucky stone, is), Inspired too! And they will fail just the same...

So Posco Padfoot is...Belkar?

I knew somebody would make that connection.

No, I just find the idea of a murderous halfling hilarious. And it's hard to make him look threatening unless he's dual-wielding something. And it's hard to be realistic about his size unless they're knives.

I see.

Plus I don't think there's a weapon in medieval fantasy that seems more like the typical 'murderous weapon' than a knife. (Maybe a couple pistols/mini handcannon, but that's pushing the realistic limit of technology of Heroica's setting and seems more suited to a dwarf than a halfling.)

Oh no... Not Belkar. :look::oh:

I agree with the dual-wielding knives though. 2 knives are better than one!

Is he at least a sexy shoeless god of war?

With the last name 'Padfoot,' what do you expect? (and don't say Serious Black)

OK then.

Sirius Black.

This I did not know, but, according to Wikipedia, 'Padfoot' could refer to any ghostly dogs around England. So for those of us who (like me  ) have not read or seen any complete Harry Potter books or movies, we could just call it a reference to, say, The Hound of the Baskervilles.

(Which is not exactly the size of a murderous halfling but, then again, neither is Sirius Black who, if I understand correctly, is a man who can turn into a big dog at will.)

Just don't look padfoot up on google like I did... Sirius and the gang evidently hold a large fangirl base. :look:*huh*

No, you guys are missing the action right before the monologue and "casting out" on YOUR end. Come on, you got this. You've figured out every other "puzzle" so far, this one is the same exact formula.
