Endgame Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Close. Also: Sorry if I fall behind on any of these side quests, 70ers. I got 5 to manage. Quote
Kintobor Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Take your time! You're doing a fine job! Same with you, Jeaux! I'm really liking your characters and sets! Quote
UsernameMDM Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 They're artifacts. So yes! Well, guess I should have clarified. Since it's an artefact that is gem infused to negate and deal elemental damage (aqua gear does water damage and negates water damage), would merging another gem have the same effect (offensive & defensive) or would it be like another other artefact (defensive)? Shoker86 Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 (edited) Last time I saw this scene , it reminded me of Docken and his opinion of roleplaying Edited June 15, 2013 by Shoker86 Quote
Endgame Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Oh, by the way, The Stealer's theme is probably "Boulevard of Broken Dreams": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGzgoSg5OZg Fits him quite nicely. Quote
Flipz Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 So, in other words, the theme of Arthur: Conjurer of Chaos. Quote
Endgame Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 (edited) Everyone in heroica just seems to be a horribly broken soul. it's when they break enough they transcend from "hero" to "villain", it seems. Edited June 16, 2013 by Endgame Quote

Chromeknight Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Does Docken have a soul? Sure he does. Those tabby bits inside the torso that hold everything in place. Everyone in heroica just seems to be a horribly broken soul. it's when they break enough they transcend from "hero" to "villain", it seems. I can think of several non-broken heroes off the top of my head. And I wouldn't call becoming a villain 'transcending'. Quote
LordoftheNoobs Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 I concur, Grimwald is anything but. I'm sure that'll change eventually, though. Quote
Flare Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Its good to see the Giant Rat and especially the Giant Rat Leader back in action!!! Quote
Brickdoctor Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Sure he does. Those tabby bits inside the torso that hold everything in place. As an AFOL, I could not be more proud to have a soul made of LEGO. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 (edited) I feel like Vastin's been in every battle of 64. Also, I submitted the proposal: Get ready for... Trade Routes. Coming in early July. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited June 16, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote
-obelix- Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 I feel like Vastin's been in every battle of 64. Maybe in spirit... Tough there were some weaker clones of him throughout the quest... If I am not mistaken we fought him only twice, in the market and now. Quote

-obelix- Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Wasn't he the Leader of the Ambush you guys fought in the very beginning? or was that a clone.~Insectoid Aristocrat I think that was a clone because he had hastened as a special and was far to fragile compared to the current one... Still, it could have been him before he got smart and stopped attacking the heroes of Heroica. Oh wait... Quote
Scorpiox Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Everyone in heroica just seems to be a horribly broken soul. it's when they break enough they transcend from "hero" to "villain", it seems. Heroica needs more heroes that just come here 'cause they're decent people. I'm serious. For the number of tortured people in this organisation we ought to have just as many regular blokes. I know that my second character is only going to have as much philosophical depth as officer John Mclane. And please, everyone stop posting/relating to that Green Day song... Have this for the theme of madness/sorrow/despair from now onwards! More Bowie = better. Quote

You forget, Sarge. He doesn't drink because his wife was killed in a freak hedge accident, or that he's so alone and confused firstly because he's not, secondly he drinks because he likes drinking. Flare Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Ever since the accident.... . . . . Or something like that I think his life problems started when he failed a quest. And then immediately after failed another. Quote
swils Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Thormy's just your average runt-of-the-litter. Definitely not drawing from any real world experiences! No vendettas, no split identities, just a midget-giant searching for a way to earn respect among his tribe (be it through height/build, or prestige). Any other traits are purely a result of the trials he's endured since coming to Heroica! Speaking of trials... I have a sudden urge to replay OoT:MQ right now... Quote
Endgame Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 I think his life problems started when he failed a quest. And then immediately after failed another. It was your choice to slice up the princess - you could've let her live and maintain Benji's sanity. Quote
