Endgame Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 I can occasionally post from work (though quest updates do have to wait sadly). It's more that I have no idea what you want me to do. :p (formatting and smilies are another thing I haven't figured out from the iPad that serves as our register yet). Hey, if you go into an inn room because you want to sleep... naturally, I made the solution to just go to sleep. Quote

Those are probably the most common ones you'll want. I have a bunch of them memorized because I use the plain text editor all the time so I eventually memorize all the ones I use often, and when I use a mobile device (like you are) I don't want to get anywhere near the rich text editor. K-Nut Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 K-Nut: expect an earful on the capabilities of a Necromancer in the QM Lounge as soon as your Quest is over. Basically, I saw it was a Necromancer, saw it was Ziegfried, and was like, "I'm in". Plus I knew about raising the undead, and thought that was pretty cool. (Honestly, though, I joined Heroica not knowing how battles worked, and didn't figure that out until halfway through my first quest ) Quote
Endgame Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Aaaand that's Rooms 201-205 completed! Hope everyone enjoyed those little sidequests. Quote
Zepher Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 (edited) Now that Kintober has brought it up, someone HAS to go wake up Boomingham. Updates on quests will be rolling in for the next few hours. I have tomorrow, Thursday and Friday off, so this week should be nice and active. Edited June 18, 2013 by Zepher Quote
Brickdoctor Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 "...it seems we might have to resort to crawling in the ventilation shafts...." Xander states as they head downstairs. Now that Kintober has brought it up, someone HAS to go wake up Boomingham. I nominate emjajoas. He seems the least likely to make that act more complicated through roleplaying. Quote
Vash the Stampede Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Finally we're getting to the sexual innuendo. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Well I'm rather surprised that it's taken this long for sexual innuendo's to arise. Admit it, everyone thought CMP would chuck a ton in. Quote

Scorpiox Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 That's a really nice twist there, CJP, having the heroes' roleplay acknowledgement of the ambush factoring to whether they are stunned or not. Quote
Flipz Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 (edited) "What? Mr. Greely is dead?! When, how did it happen? I just saw him not an hour ago!" I misspoke. I meant Mr. Krook. I apologize for the inconvenience. Dyric cringes. If I die from this unstoppable fit of laughter I'm blaming you, buddy. Edited June 18, 2013 by Flipz Quote
Brickdoctor Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Ignored Nerwen's act of being the janitor, cut a hole in a floor to gain access to a room, tried to break down a door with a chain even as Cronk was looking for the key, told a tenant that the wrong owner was dead... I see why none of the Rogue Advanced Classes have Diplomacy. Quote
Flare Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 (edited) I'm curious to know what exactly happened in these quest 70 sidequests... Ignored Nerwen's act of being the janitor, cut a hole in a floor to gain access to a room, tried to break down a door with a chain even as Cronk was looking for the key, told a tenant that the wrong owner was dead... I see why none of the Rogue Advanced Classes have Diplomacy. As far as I'm aware of, stupidity and shallow-thinking is not only found in rogues... (*cough*Drake*COUGH*) That's a really nice twist there, CJP, having the heroes' roleplay acknowledgement of the ambush factoring to whether they are stunned or not. Yeah Edited June 18, 2013 by Flare Quote

Brickdoctor Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I blame Dyric's lack of sleep. You don't need to sleep in order to think properly. Docken only sleeps when he's low on HP. Otherwise it provides no stat buffs, so he doesn't do it. Quote

Otherwise it provides no stat buffs, so he doesn't do it. I think that's a bloody brilliant attitude to life, makes me wish I'd done my childhood differently... "Scorpiox, eat yer greens!" "But why? They don't give me as many stat bonuses as red meat and chips." "Scorpiox, go to bed now!" "But why? I only need four hours sleep to properly recover my lost HP." "Scorpiox, go to school!" "But why? If I misbehave, the teacher will only inflict an unblockable critical hit on me with her WP: 17 ruler." Quote
Brickdoctor Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 "Scorpiox, eat yer greens!" "But why? They don't give me as many stat bonuses as red meat and chips." Chips/fries don't provide any stat buffs. To compliment your red meats, I suggest a steady diet of bananas, apples, and mushrooms. You can also try chicken drumsticks and greasy sausages. Snack on pretzels, cookies for dessert, and there's a wide variety of drinks to wash it down with. ("Scorpiox, drink yer milk!" would in fact be a sensible command.)Oh, hey, that means that if you ate nothing but applesauce and sausages for every meal, you'd get +9 HP every day. Quote
Scorpiox Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Oh, hey, that means that if you ate nothing but applesauce and sausages for every meal, you'd get +9 HP every day. Oh God... Reminds me so terribly of ye olde Werewolf Mafia, in which, after many a day's morning meal, they (Hinckley) gave up pretending and just called it 'cock'. Quote
Kintobor Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Do we even need to bring back the Johnson Rod? Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Yep, Scoriox, milk gives you +1 power. Oh, wait, I wish someone pulled this one: Teacher: Kid, stop talking and do your work! Kid: Mrs. Teacher, talking is a free action. Quote
