Zepher Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 A) You actually get to use them! and B) No, you can't take them off, and C) if you asked ANY of this stuff in thread, someone would have answered you there as well. Quote
Vash the Stampede Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 (edited) Yeah, but Dreyrugr gets all the loot. So he gets to keep all of it? You could ask nicely for him to share. You make it sound like I'm keeping everything for myself. I've given away the phoenix essence, the flash bomb and the opal, other than the 20 gold and the shako I haven't grabbed anything else. If you really had a problem out of character mention it, it's hard dealing with Pretzel who accepts nothing from Dreyrugr because it's been tainted by demon hands. And does it seem like I'm holding onto loot? I didn't think so but mention it if you do. Edited June 19, 2013 by Vash the Stampede Quote
CMP Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 40 gold. You stole from both Morgan and Drake. Maybe it's just because I haven't been dropping enough decent loot... Quote
Vash the Stampede Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 (edited) Ok, I made a mistake there but still to my knowledge I haven't been hoarding stuff. Nessa got an opal. Erik got a duel striking weapon. Pretzel got slippers which will make sure he will never go hungry for ether again. Dreyrugr got a shako and Sylph hasn't really gotten anything great but I can't really do anything about that with what I've been given. PS: Giving more loot is always a good thing. Edit: I may not have held all those items but with how they've been distributed I don't believe anyone's been particularly missing out. Edited June 19, 2013 by Vash the Stampede Quote
Flipz Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 I just have to say that I LOVE Artifacts like the Strategist's Shako and the Robe of the Pongcanis Champion (Power in Front Row, SP in Back Row). I'd like to see a couple more Artifacts with different effects depending on Row. Quote
CMP Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 That's more or less what I based it off of. I always liked the idea of it. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 I should probably drop an upgraded version of that. The Robe of the Pongcanis Champion doesn't seem very popular. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 I was actually considering it before I got the Cloak of Deception. Hmm... I would take the Cloak of Deception over the Robe of the Pongcanis Champion; +1 Power or SP isn't much. But I would take a robe with the effect of the Strategist Shako over the Cloak of Deception; +5 is a nice bonus and redirecting the Free Hit to a random hero isn't really helping the party. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 His true body is currently presiding over the innermost circle of hell. If the soul mutilation progress didn't halt his metamorphic cycle, Uland would probably be screwed. Imagine the Perfect Regret's power magnified by a body the size of the Mythrogg's. That's not what he told me... You mean Regret lied to me? ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote

Actually, it redirects to an ENEMY. Which does help the party quite a bit. Quote

JimBee Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Hope you guys are ready for action, 72. And JimB doesn't get to be Hastened, either, because he has to de-equip the Blessed Amulet and won't be protected from the negative effect of the Golden Armor, and he didn't bring any Smelling Salts with him. Hell no. Smelling Salts or not, I'm not de-equiping my armor because that's where all my immunities are. Luckily I brought some Mulled Wine so the Cursed effect won't be as bad. Quote

I'm disappointed that I don't get to use the Medal, but at least the Medal provides no in-battle buffs. Quote

Vash the Stampede Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 No, no. I jest. ...It was Pretzel speaking through me. I'm having a marvelous time. Oh good, I was worried for a bit. Mind you these conversations one sided witch hunts between Pretzel and Dreyrugr are really wearing me out here so I'm going to have to find a way to side step them soon. Nothing against Pretzel but its tiring. I can only dread what would happen if I was in the same timezone as you and we had the option to squeeze about twice as much arguments that they have now into a single day. Quote
Zepher Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Is Em mute? I actually love the character choice. So silent, so cool, very interesting road to go down. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 I think this plot twist is kind of great. Quote
Flipz Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Holy crap Flower of Sibyl sap is Time Travel Serum. Arthur's been carrying seeds of a living time machine all this time! Also, I'm going to go add "Set Right What Once Went Wrong" to the TV Tropes page now. Quote
Emjajoas Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 No, Em's not quite mute, he's just quiet. :P A mute character would indeed be interesting, though. Might go down that road if I have the opportunity. Quote
herrJJ Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 (edited) I just had to think of Doctor Who (BBC series) about time travelling. But how does time travel work? I mean not in general (that i do know ) but in Heroica? Blind, deaf and mute... Probably a challenge for roleplaying... I'd take a knight Edited June 19, 2013 by herrJJ Quote

I mean not in general (that i do know ) but in Heroica? For the most part it's doctors or wizards who use some mysterious spell or substance that already has the power, no explanation beyond that. (I think that's what you're asking.) Quote
