Kintobor Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 I know Guts's trying to form his own little army, but what's S.O.W? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Does anybody here see that we started an awesome trend? Sorry, Team Guts came first. We just don't have the rules or need the crest because people will already know who we are when we say, "Team Guts". Heroica's aim is do whatever the quest the heroes are on to the best of abilities whilst collecting loot and exp. Yes! Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 I know Guts's trying to form his own little army, but what's S.O.W? It's Thotwick's Anti-Witch Crusade. (or a female pig.) ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Palathadric Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Heckz will start his own group! The Table Of The "Open Minded" Members: Drake and temporarily, Heckz. Could I book a place in that club for Sorrow and Dreyrugr? And Thotwick is a black knight so he could be an honorary (Or even a full) member (If he wished) So basically it would end up being all of Heroica against Atramor at the end of it. I wonder if Thothwick will still hate Atramor when Atramor goes expert. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 I likely won't be back on the computor untill late tonight, in case it's important to anyone. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Palathadric Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 (edited) What time is it now, your time? "Is this the part where I have a large moral breakdown? We slaughter peoiple on a daily basis. It doesn't feel good, but as it stands, you are another facelss mook in the crowd. You'd do well to make yourself stand out from the crowd very quickly." Wait, is this Sorrow, or the Stealer of Senses talking? Edited June 22, 2013 by Palathadric Quote
Endgame Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Wait, is this Sorrow, or the Stealer of Senses talking? The Stealer of Senses does not endorse murder. Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 I know Guts's trying to form his own little army, but what's S.O.W? So basically it would end up being all of Heroica against Atramor at the end of it. I wonder if Thothwick will still hate Atramor when Atramor goes expert. I'm worried about this myself. Should Thothwick see him as being reformed, or should he think that a leopard could never change his spots. Role playing confusion, both seem quite plausible from him. Quote
Endgame Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 (or a female pig.) What if a female pig becomes a witch? Quote
Palathadric Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Apparently, Thothwick hasn't been proclaiming the message as far and wise as he would have thought, eh? Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 What if a female pig becomes a witch? Then Thothwick commits seppuku. Quote
Kintobor Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Sorry. I keep hearing about it on the boards, but never knew what it stood for. Quote
Endgame Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Then Thothwick commits seppuku. Nooo! Just commit sudoku instead! Quote
Scubacarrot Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Just wondering, if Thotwick has problems with Witches, doesn't he also have problems with Necromancers? If not more? Also, Guts isn't making an army. Let's just say he's choosing his friends at the moment. Quote

Also, Guts isn't making an army. Let's just say he's choosing his friends at the moment. No. Necromancers haven't done anything to him, nor people he's known, nor try to take over the world. The only one he's ever encountered (the one in Quest 14), was relatively helpful. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 On one hand, Thothwick seems like the kind of character who would look for the best in other heroes and welcome the converted witch with open arms. On the other hand, he doesn't seem that naive as to immediately trust Atramor. So I think he should grudgingly approve of the eventual change, but still keep his distance from Atramor and avoid talking to him or working with him. But I don't roleplay, so what do I know. Quote

Whatever Thothwick's opinion is, Atramor's not going to give a damn about it. He'll probably continue to consider himself a witch just out of spite. Quote

Flitwick doesn't have to figure out how Thothwick will treat it because you're not going to have Atramor act any differently. Quote

Zepher Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Updates rolling in! I have to say, I find the little secret societies relatively interesting... sometimes. That being said, if Heroica ends with King Guts, I will not be pleased. That would be the ultimate character stealing the spotlight moment. Quote
