Kintobor Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Shoot, Karie's going to end up at Level 14.5 at the end of this. Boo! Whatever, I can live with it. I can't use the scroll of newtity until I'm lvl 23 anyways at the most, so yeah. Life goes on. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 (edited) Shoot, Karie's going to end up at Level 14.5 at the end of this. Hint: Drop 'Half-eaten Level Up Mushroom: grants 1 half level.' I want to see Karie turn someone into a Newt... Probably Heckz. Boo! Whatever, I can live with it. I can't use the scroll of newtity until I'm lvl 23 anyways at the most, so yeah. Life goes on. What? You're not going Sorcerer/Witch? ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited June 23, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote
Endgame Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Eh? She is at 13.5 right now... Octavyn goes down and that is 14, Battle 4 happens and it is 14.5, and The Stealer perishes and she becomes level 15. Quote
Kintobor Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 No What? You're not going Sorcerer/Witch? ~Insectoid Aristocrat I only get a single shot of ether once I go Witch/Sorcerer (or at least, I believe that's how it goes). The scroll takes ten ether to use, so with my ethereal cape, it would take me seven levels just to get enough ether to use it. Don't worry, Karie's going into one of the two ether based classes in preparation of Minstrel or Necromancer, so there's nothing to fear! Quote
Endgame Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 No, you automagically get 15 ether when you go from an etherless to ether-capable class, plus whatever bonuses the class grants. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 No, you automagically get 15 ether when you go from an etherless to ether-capable class, plus whatever bonuses the class grants. Precicely, which means plenty of Newtity for all! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote

I have been enlightened by the mighty Endgame. Now all enemies shall fear me and my Newtity! ...crud, I just realized what I said. Quote
Cutcobra Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 I want to see Karie turn someone into a Newt... Probably Heckz. I'll allow it only if Heckz gets to turn into a Velocinewt. Quote

Dannylonglegs Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 (edited) Then Thothwick commits seppuku. Not to worry, It's usually the other way around. No worries, I'm not in a rush There won't be any more quests til July 7th, in any case! Fifth. If anyone from the previous crew is free by then, I'd love to have anyone who wants to revisit Brendenton. This Quest'll be more about the other Sundestia/Lower Kingdoms Cities around it though. We'll delve into its politics (slightly) and we'll get a taste for Sundestia and Grauwood (its northern neighbor)'s environment, meet new and old NPCs and a few forshadowings of my future archs, with all the twist, turns and trade-intrigue you loved from 62. Minus the impossible boss fight, I hope. Keep in mind this is all hypothetical, and this should not at all be interpreted of me being bored of the Heroica setting, if Sandy's story ends, I kind of would like a different setting, altogether I think. I think an RPG with similar concepts (e.g. the format of normal dice battle results) in different settings could be really cool, like a Space setting. A few hundred years in Heroica could be cool, it could become more steampunky, but that's more limiting than a straight up fantasy or space rpg, I feel like. Oooh! I love Space! I thought the same, but I'm still more than interested in the Fantasy game. I see Space as being a possible future for Oligaia too, anyways. IMO, the Humans in the future (and maybe the Dwarves too) will lead space exploration attempts from the dying planet Olegaia. A morally ambiguous mercenary type group offers a lot more possibilities. If anyone wants to be a bad guy in Heroica, they have to force schizophrenia. Not Necessarily. There are plenty of options. In fact, I'd say there are a few Bad (maybe even an evil or two) PCs running around. That brings me to an interesting Question: Who do you all think the most evil PC is? I will not be held accountable for enlightening you about that! Don't worry, I'll take credit where credit is due. I am what this City needs me to be. I'm the Hero it deserves, but not the one it needs... ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited June 23, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote
Flipz Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Hmm...so if all the rats are dead and the party successfully hits the Queen of Rats, does that result in the universe destroying itself because a physical quality has to divide by zero? Quote
Flare Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Hmm...so if all the rats are dead and the party successfully hits the Queen of Rats, does that result in the universe destroying itself because a physical quality has to divide by zero? One of the rats still live - crisis averted Quote
Flare Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 To those on Quest #67; I have read the topic, but will not be posting until I return home later tonight. In the words of Mr. Arnold, 'Hold onto your butts!" Did you ever make it home, or did you get lost on the way because you thought you saw a dinosaur and had to chase after it alone Quote
Scorpiox Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Did you ever make it home, or did you get lost on the way because you thought you saw a dinosaur and had to chase after it alone I'm home now, but last night some crazy stuff went down and I ended up getting home pretty late. There was a cow and some painting involved. Quote

Let me guess, you insisted on doing all the painting yourself because you wanted to make sure no one overpainted it? OK, well, now you can post in the #67 thread Edited June 23, 2013 by Flare Quote
Peppermint_M Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 I don't want to have an ending just yet, I want to get Tesni to paragon and start my second character and get them to Chi Monk... A space themed one would be very cool.... Quote

Dannylonglegs Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 (edited) I don't think that any of the Pcs are actually evil. Also, Kotrt, we're going on an undead mission and only one of us has an elemental weapon! Well, I suppose I meant, the least good, in that case. I think there may be one or two who would be considered evil on the DnD scale, but you're right for the most part. There are very few evil PCs. Oh, I forgot to mention that there'll be a chance for Shadeaux Reputation on 76 too. Also, I'd like to ammend my statement that 76 has all the trade intrigue of 62. It's less about the intrigue, and more straight forward, with the intrigue as sort-of a side plot. Any Quest featuring Yoro, Dice, or Fleur will have a certain deal of trade-intrigue, but this is the least trade-intrigue-y Yoro and Dice Quest I have planned. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited June 23, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote
Shoker86 Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 I like intrigue Danny. So if I'm available I'll definietly sign up. Quote

Palathadric Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 I don't think that any of the Pcs are actually evil. Actually, Althior is pretty far gone. Also, Kotrt, we're going on an undead mission and only one of us has an elemental weapon! Any need to wonder why Pretzel is not a part of such a disorganized club. Someday soon I'm going to go through all PCs and organize them according to their Niceness © Level Monk Pretzel is sitting pretty at the top of the "nice" list. Wow! Thalion's changed. You know that Mages can't go Assassin, right? Quote
-obelix- Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Wow! Thalion's changed. You know that Mages can't go Assassin, right? Of course I do, tell me which Assassin can create a lightning bolt in his right hand, while wielding a dagger in his left hand? Fun fact: I used the same (smiling) face for this fig too, but because of the cowl and camera angle, Thalion looks far more sinister then before... Quote
