Endgame Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 (edited) *cough*Endgame*COUGH* Why have you been persecuting my battles since 48? I Have no problem with receiving criticism, but you've thrown me into an entire revenge plot when I've never even hosted you. There is actually a very good reason why some of these enemies are stacked up with immunities. If every hero had darkness elemental attacks then it wouldn't be needed, but as it stands there is quite the damage gap between heroes. If I want to keep the lower-leveled folk effective, I need to at least make x8 multipliers harder to attain. And there is one enemy I really didn't want to put all of those immunities on, but had to. Besides, I didn't even touch his scroll of Weakening and Sleep, and both are incredibly potent weapons. Edited June 26, 2013 by Endgame Quote

Endgame Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 (edited) Hey, kinda hard to tell when you're being serious when you literally dragged me to hell alone and placed me in an impossible boss. Also, because I am a magically magical QM and thus hold domain over all of my mooks... No enemy has more then 3 immunities now, and quite a few have been removed altogether. ...Wait, they let people into North Korea? Edited June 26, 2013 by Endgame Quote
Kintobor Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Kintobor had an enemy whose loot was not stealable. And I agree, its really not fair. *cough*Endgame*COUGH* The reason I did that was to ensure the Black Knight didn't steal the boss loot was because they were an artifact and a weapon, both rather powerful too. I don't mind the black knights Arrogant Prick ability, in fact, for the three battles there were in the quest, I was rather fond of his theiving ways, I just wanted to ensure an equal distribution of loot, especially after the previous fight with the Shadow Sister saw all the loot stolen by the Black Knight. In a fight against a load of grunts, sure, steal away. There, the attack is less effective since he's only getting a potion, or a remedy. For bossesthough, my mentality is if it's an artefact or a weapon, don't let them steal it. Do it once in a quest, and don't do it again. I like messing with party members by making them think outside of their usual strategy, but I'm also not out to kill them! Quote
Wedge09 Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Screw the others, LotR you must see. Now! If I see you online in the next few minutes, I will see to it that Alexander dies. I did see it. Oh, Alexander dies? Fine by me, we don't need all those archers. Hey, Monk Pretzel/Palathadric is asked to specify which Alexander must die, the archer (NO) and the knight (YES) Quote

I think that the Troll's Hoard was a very realistic and deserved passive special. It might have been made perfect by adding a few minions without hoard (like sewer rats or something) but I think it was a well-thought-out power. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote

Scubacarrot Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 I don't mind immunities at all. You don't hear Assassins cry over immune to sudden death enemies. Just deal with it. Also, if I ever quest with a black knight. That Black Knight's going to drop his stuff in the pool or else receive nothing, no healing, no help, no nothing. Scubacarrot Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Also, if you want to make gold, stay rogue. Far superior for that. Spoiler, In my side quest battle I have four Shields in 2 rounds, I´d have made over a 1000 gold if I was a rogue. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Hey, Monk Pretzel/Palathadric is asked to specify which Alexander must die, the archer (NO) and the knight (YES) Well he said "Alexander," not "Alexandre." I think it's you. Quote

Zepher Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Suppose that's fair. I did ask Thothwick to dole out his winnings in 66, but if he didn't I wouldn't have minded it (don't know fully if he did ever, actually ). Quote
