Capt.JohnPaul Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 And don't worry, none of them end too great for Karie. One is pretty good... for about 15 minutes. The party decides? I want in! That kind of reminds me though. I remember Sandy saying there would be a split in Heroica at one point. If there was a split, right now. I imagine it would not just be, Wolfgang Supporters against House in Power supporters, the Wolfgang supporters would be severely outnumbered. What would you say would be a better way to split things, and who would be on each side? I think maybe each House has its own side. Quote
Endgame Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Wolfgang VS Houses isn't all that unreasonable, especially with all of the heads of houses possibly being Baba's Manchurian Agents. Speaking of which, only the Masked Man escaped Baba's control... Quote
UsernameMDM Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 If Hoke was in Quest 70, he would target Karie & only Karie. I say when she is defeated, the heroes should be able to loot her (Zeph, get the rapier for Hoke!). Consequences! Quote
Endgame Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 At least the Syndicate is cool and their leader is a genuinely nice guy underneath all of the aloof-ness. Wonder what would happen if Karie sidded with the Wolfgang with his party? Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 RolePlay has actually made Romulus rethink his ties to the Wolfgang, after hearing what had happened at the Foundation Day ball. So more like Benji vs the rest. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Karie smiled softly and sincerely, listening to Boomingham's voice since her vision was lost. She knew that Boomingham was more willing to run her through than the rest of the party. "I screwed up, didn't I, Boomingham? Typical. Maybe I am a screw up, just like my adoptive mother said I was." Karie sighs. "I would never kill you, Boomingham, you don't deserve death, none of you do. Would you kill me, if I was down and defenseless?" Don't fall for it Quest 70 heroes! Wolf in sheep's clothing! Black Widow! Scar at the end of the Lion King! Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 So has anyone figured out what we're going to do if the Wolfgang actually has been doing all the good Sandy keeps saying they are doing and the houses are actually the one's standing in the way of progress? Quote
Endgame Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Like CallMePie has said, it is really hard to judge. Almost all Wolfgang low-rankers have been portrayed as ruthless thugs and delinquents , and the lieutenants were only ever portrayed committing crimes... Heck, the only time we saw the two heads they were both stirring chaos and being manipulative. We've never really been portrayed a positive image of the Wolfgang. Quote
Scorpiox Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 So has anyone figured out what we're going to do if the Wolfgang actually has been doing all the good Sandy keeps saying they are doing and the houses are actually the one's standing in the way of progress? If everything becomes too complication Haldor can simply return home. Quote

Order 66*, then King Guts.*With which I refer to the houses, if it wasn't clear. Quote
Kintobor Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Order 66, then King Guts. Wait a minute. The Wolfgang Generals were all murdered in quest 66. Very crafty Sandy, I see what you did there... Quote
Endgame Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Sandy killed my combo. I had hosted quests 36, 46, and 56. And I'm going to miss 76, too. Quote
Kintobor Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 So far I've gotten 61 and 71. Here's to nabbing 81! Quote

Call out Sandy for bad storytelling? Quote
Endgame Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Call out Sandy for bad storytelling? And then let the Syndicate take their place! I'm only actually allowed about 16 different members of the Syndicate - having dozens of masked men running around Eubric would be a bit crazy, Sandy said, and I'm inclined to agree. Of course, re-using Syndicate members to make it seem like there is more of them (Such as the bomber) is acceptable. Quote
Flare Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 (edited) RolePlay has actually made Romulus rethink his ties to the Wolfgang, after hearing what had happened at the Foundation Day ball. So more like Benji vs the rest. Benji isn't really in support of the wolfgang, just one ex-member (whom he isn't aware is dead, so far), and he's actually just wanting to use the power he can gain from the wolfgang to destroy them. Backstabbing, traitorous? Yes. Chaotic good, I would call it. Join the enemy to learn his tricks, and then stab him in the back. So far I've gotten 61 and 71. Here's to nabbing 81! I hosted 42 and am hoping to host 84 And maybe even 126 if I'm still playing by then! Edited June 27, 2013 by Flare Quote

Waterbrick Down Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Call out Sandy for bad storytelling? I'm inclined to agree with you, but just because they've been portrayed in a bad light thus far, doesn't mean everything Donny, Violleta, and Ulric claimed isn't true. Quote
Flare Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Neither would Karie. How so? Benji is too good for her? Quote

Endgame Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Random question: Who would the oldest character in the Heroica Universe be? I know the largest thus far is the Mythrogg (a little bit over 3,000 years, The Regret a few months behind) but I get the feeling I'm missing someone. Quote
