I'm pretty sure he has left heroica behind, but honestly IDK.... when you see a person in the mafia section but not the heroica section, I guess its safe to assume that he's lost interest? ()

@ Quest 69 party: Could one of you guys with older characters explain human mating habbits? Erik's 19, Dreyrugr's 1000, Pretzel's around 450, Nessa's about 60. I think it's obvious who has the least experience.

You think Dreyrugr would have an interest in the topic? Although I am considering to do the topic as we are unsure of how Sylph would react, we have a good idea of how Pretzel would react talking to non humans and Nessa going psycho and explaining this topic could go in an interesting direction. Any suggestions from other's from 69. (CMP, you're not going to get someone to explain that as well, are you? )

You have to remember that Heroica and Mafia are very different games, and someone might have participated in both and decided to dedicate more time to one of them. Of course mafia is more competitive and much less forgiving in mechanics, but the pace is significantly different as well. Even though I don't do so (No life outside of EB.), I could in theory play Heroica checking in once a day. On the other hand, mafia will consume the majority of the time I spend on EB as I keep up with posts and maintain my spreadsheets and PM people, with 'breaks' during night phases that are by no means stress-free. I know def mentioned that he preferred the faster pace of mafia to Heroica.

During the days you must check the thread constantly and reply often, which makes it impossible to do much else than sit at the computer. During the nights, you have to PM and make plans. It's an all consuming experience, that's why I stopped playing it (also partly because of how blatant offensiveness and insulting is considered fair game through the mafia period, and how sometimes it can be hard to differentiate between in and out of game behaviour).

Not any more, not since inactivity has been declared a valid reason for a lynch. Not since that certain people have decided that not posting because of the possession of a life is invalid and therefore a scum tell.

Same here (for reasons I stopped). There are a couple people who really get on my nerves over there

Yeah, I kind of stopped as well since the Harriet Slutter Mafia. I do enjoy Mafia a lot, but it saps a lot of my mental power if I'm really focused on it, and if I'm not really focused, I've found, then there's not really any point in playing it. Heroica is easier in that way. I do want to streamline my Mafia playing style, so I can be more effective without spending too much time reading and thinking about it, but until I do that, or a bunch of time suddenly falls into my laps, I'll have to hold out for now.
