That is pretty much how I'm going to roll with it - besides my recent Chromoid blunder, Arthur's earning were actually pretty reasonable in the battles after I realized Arthur's strategy.

Some people just want to watch the world earn. :sadnew:

How about you go burn some digital retinas? Maybe some red ones?

:catrunningawayknockingthingsofftablenoise: You will all burn!!! :wishestherewasanemoticonofburningbuildings: I will destroy your eyes in the smoke of the flames of your burning corpses!!!

I wish I'd played video games as a child. Maybe then I could beat your beautifully nightmarish hellscape of a game. :cry_sad:

Why would you need that?

I think it's pretty common knowledge that Karie's going Minstrel, so why not? It's one of those great joke items, alongside the Scroll of Newtidy!

But in all seriousness, a Newt cannot be minimized, as the effect itself states: "Target is minimized, etc..." and you can't apply the same effect twice.

I love how I'm going to be able to turn people into newts after Quest 70.:laugh:

Am I the only one who finds it terrifying that Newts are about the size of a human in the Heroica realm?:tongue:

No, I think Danny was taking liberties when he used the baby t-rex as newts. They're normal sized newts. However, the more I look at it, those baby t-rex's would make for a great dire newt!

Also, the Stealer newt should be nude. Just saying.

But then how can you tell it's him?

Also: read your second sentence, glossed over the word "newt". Double taked.

True, but your arsenal would make you essentially the Hero version of a shrink-ray.

I still can't believe my little witch/sorcerer is almost all grown-up. Why it seems like just an in-game week ago she first stepped out of her clothes embarassed to find herself transformed into a slimy, tailed amphibian. Now she's going to be doing that to other PCs! I'm so proud! :cry_happy:

I was taking liberties, but I imagine that magic!Newts would be a bit larger than normal-sized Newts anyways. Considering that your average adult Chinese red-bellied Newt is about palm-sized (8-14 cm or 3-5.5 in), I'd say a magic!Newt would be more like foot sized or bigger (say, 15-35.5 cm or 6-14 inches) depending on the size of the Hero, or perhaps the hero's preference.

Who's to say the Stealer doesn't have a mini-cowl positioned underneath his fullsized one to fall into in the event of newtity. :look:

And now for the most gorgeous and prettiest newts in all of Olegaia.... HECKZ NEWTYHALL!!!

You know what? That is exactly what I would have imagined Heckz's Newt-form would look like. :look: ... If I imagined that sort of thing... I mean.... :look:

Who has the other pair of Overkill Gloves? And would they be willing to trade with me?

As for the other pair of overkill gloves... I need 'em

Why does everyone think Cronk is stupid? I'm not saying he's a rocket scientist or anything but I don't think I play him as stupid.

WBD, great plot twist by the way. Before Posades' post I hadn't even considered that Ecatsue was the dragon in the story. Do you plan on us knowing who the man is?

I'm of the opinion that Cronk is allot smarter than his speach patterns would lead one to believe. :sweet:

I got it as soon as I finished reading it and looking at the figure you chose. Still great though!

I'm not of the opinion that Cronk is stupid either, like Danny said, his speech pattern masks his intelligence. As for the man in the story, you'll have to wait and see. :classic:

Hey, I put time and effort into that. It would be better if only Zepher sent me descriptions for his created races. :cry_sad:

I didn't know you were waiting on them. I'm doing all my clerical work the next few days (and starting the NPC index work I should have been doing) so expect an incoming soon!

Boomers will get after Arthur for profiteering if he refuses to attack Magnus. He's ordered everyone else to take it out. :sceptic:

Damn straight he will. I don't want to wait around while you make money.

Eh, I think there's a nice sort of tension going on with Karie already. It may or may not be sexual, but there's definitely a sense of protectiveness there--and I haven't even started on the Stealer yet.

I think it'd be in-character for Arthur to call Boomingham out for his attitudes a bit, though.

Do it. I dare you. No seriously, it would be interesting. I'd say currently that Arthur is the character Boomingham knows the most about, but can determine he's feelings least about.

I was considering making it the overkill/2 in gold, but like Zeph said 'they're in the game, so they're in the game." :look:

I still think their OP, for the record. I just don't think complaining will do anything. So, c'est la vie. I would personally have limited them to only "non-rogue classes" as they would have then served to close the gap instead of further widening it, but Flipz would be right in saying that it would be in no way fair to him.

Cronk is intelligent. Simple as that. I think he's simple. Not in a bad way, I think a LOT of smart people choose to be simple. Life is so complicated, but Cronk CHOOSES happiness and honor and friendship and optimism. That makes him appear stupid, but it is, in fact (in my mind) the mark of someone with high intelligence.

I actually thought that twist the first time I read it. Happy to see it's true. Well played, WBD.

I have a question, how can a mechanical enemy bleed?

I'd assume they'd operate on some sort of oil-based mechanism. :look:

In the Mass Effect universe, the bleeding equivalent in synthetic enemies is overloaded omni-capacitors. Just to throw that out there.

Why does everyone think Cronk is stupid? I'm not saying he's a rocket scientist or anything but I don't think I play him as stupid.

Sorry. :shrug_confused: Maybe simple was a better way to define him, but I mentioned that I thought he had a low intelligence "score" when we were discussing DnD stats. Like Flipz said, characters can have a low INT score but a high WIS one, making them aware and, well, wise, but they don't sit in the library all day. That is how I see Cronk anyways.

Conversely, Docken, in my eyes, has a high INT and low WIS. He is as smart as Brickdoctor is, so in-universe that would mean he reads up on quests and other Heroica information in the library, etc. He's not extremely wise because he only applies his knowledge to stats rather than personal, moral enrichment or awareness of his surroundings.
