Huh...if Expert classes are based on 3 basic classes, rather than 2 advanced classes, there's only 20. I tried the other way first - came out to nearly 50. *huh* Some of the names I thought of, even then, are pretty pitiful.

Dannylonglegs- as Party Leader of the quest, you need to stay active, the others have come across something and the party leader needs to make a decision. I have seen the last post you have made was 2 days ago. Try at least once a day to keep the quest moving. If there is a reason or something happened, please tell, if you already said, I missed it and I apologize. Anyways, if I do not see something tomorrow morning, my time, I'm afraid I must terminate your rank and grant someone else Party Leader. :sceptic:

Avealtheblacksheep- you have been even longer absent. Even before, you have gone missing multiple times, leaving Dannylonglegs burdened with deciding your actions. This is becoming unacceptable. If this was a mafia game, often played here on EB, you would be killed off by the mod. You must post, or else. Do you realize this will hurt your chances of getting into a new quest? As above, I will give you till the morning to post.

I’m sorry if the above sounded rude, but Pandora, who’s in a different time zone is doing her best to keep up. Zepher I can tell is getting aggravated at the speed of my quest, he’s been perhaps the most active, and he’s also hosting a quest of his own right now as well, not an easy task, I will assure. Legobodgers has also been playing, but we can’t move on without you guys. Well, at least one… :hmpf:

You need to understand that they have to do other things outside of the game, plus this is the busiest time of the year, so that is brought into account. There are also unscheduled trips, places without access, etc. You should also give them more time than just until tomorrow morning, that basically gives them no time at all. :sceptic: I understand you want to keep the ques moving, but you also are having it run until the busiest time of the year, so have some sympathy. I'm sure they'll post sooner or later, but you should replace their ranks if necessary.

Yeah, we've just been on this Quest for.... well, double the amount of all the other quests. And we're so near the end. We've missed the sign-ups for over ten quests at this point, and it's only been 31 pages... so yes, it is the busiest time of year, but they've been spotty for almost two months... He's right, I'm getting a little anxious  .

And Capt. sorry if I'm getting sassy. I just want to get back is all. You know I respect QMs, it's a hell of a job, and while it's fun it's lots of work. Over-all, that was in character, Boomingham is always hung-ho, let's move, etc. But yeah, it is a little kick to everyone (not you only) to get a move on!

I do understand that. But if I'm correct, Aveal has been out for 5 days. Almost a week. In addition, he was out 2 times before that. But I, Zepher, Pandora, and legobodgers have had no problem. And no one can get upset this is a busy time of year. I believe every single one of you wanted me to extend my quest to fit in more battles to get Pandora to level 15. If that didn't happen, the quest would probably be over, and this problem wouldn't have happened. Also, if we all considered places w/ out access, etc. Zepher or Sandy wouldn't have posted about my absence on my vacation. As I DID give a weeks notice. And if someone says "Zepher said you were gone for 9 days, not 7." I was active for the first 2, but I had to wait for other's actions because I was originally going too fast so I had to wait.

Please keep in mind I tried to get this quest to keep going before my vacation. I tried to fit it best with my personal time, yet people want me to extend it, but don't participate in it? I'm sure you get my meaning.

So, a few quesions about how this works:

1.) When I take the pic for my character, will I have to update it with any/all new items I get?

1a.) If I decide I don't like my character's appearance, can I change it? (Obviously not adding weapons/etc, just things like torso and legs, etc.)

2.) Will I need to take extra pics if I only play quests? (I'd like to do this, but my bricks are mostly still in boxes, and I don't have much space for photography.)

3.) A question about the magic elemental gems (the ones Mages start off with)--are these one-time-use items, or do I gain new types of magic for each gem I collect, or what?

Jess arose from the bedroll, realizing she had nothing on but the necklace.

Oh well, I have no shame, Jess thought as she leisurely put on her clothes.

"I say we visit the rebel," Jess said right before pulling on her jerkin.

<I don't mind the role play, just keep it PG-13  . Also, maybe people don't eat each other's faces as much as you guys think they do. Of course you're still in the Honey Moon phase, but if there was ever a time to put your relationship through some tribulations, for role playing purposes of course, Wren would love to watch it! . and WBD, I figured that's what the case was, sorry for springing the Quest of you!>

I'm sorry but I really laughed out loud here!

1.) No you don't unless you want too.

1a.) Yes you may change his clothes. Look at me.

2.) Nope. If you only play you don't have to take any pictures other than the one of your figure.

3.) Each gem can be used as many times as you want, and each one has a different power.

Was that what you were looking for?

1.) No, you can leave your character as it is, or you can update them if you want.

1a.) Yes, you cna change your character's clothes, but you cannot change their face unless the new face resembles the old one, so that your character is still recognizable as the same person.

2.) No, you can only take one picture of your character and leave it at that. Look at Brickdoctor, he's finished 3 Quests and hasn't changed his character picture once.

3.) No, the gems allow your character to use spells of the gem's element. (e.g. you get a Topaz, your character can cast Lightning spells.)

That's how I understand it, someone correct me if I'm wrong! :classic:

Further to these questions, if you have an idea of what you want your character to look like but don't have all the peices available, put a message here and perhaps someone might be able to help you out. (As long as your request isn't too outrageous!)

Some things to be aware of that you might not have picked up from just glancing at the heroica topics

Humans (and elves and dwarves) are yellow heads. (or possibly brown!)

Flesh coloured heads have become a race called Mopags, but don't feel restricted by that.

There are several other races that have made their appearance as Heroes, check out the list at the start of the hall for pointers there.

Gender age and race are for flavour only, they make no difference in play. (Unless a QuestMaster rules so for the heroes in the quest they are running).

Looking forward to seeing you in the halls!

Yep! Thanks! I probably won't get started until the New Year, but I want to have time to collect parts as needed (i.e. if the Lego store at Walt Disney World and/or Disneyland gets some early Series 6 minifigs in right before Christmas).

So, besides the skin color, what exactly makes the Mopags different from ordinary humans?

Also, just for clarity, if I manage to collect all of the different colored gemstones, I can use all kinds of magic, or am I limited on how many I can carry/use?

Yes you can use any kind but only one at a time.

My guess is a Harry Potter set knowing Sandy, as to Mopagians, you can look at Brick Doctor's quest Taming the Lions, the Library thread has a link to it. They really aren't to different, except they're kind of ostracized by other humans in general, other than there is not much difference. You could say they're somewhere between orcs and humans on the totem pole of races represented.

Mopags have the distinctive feature of enormous eyes and hideously enlarged, cartoonish facial features. (Clone Wars head prints. )

I think he meant personality characteristics or other things beside appearance, oh great creator of the Mopagians:wink:

Mopags are really miniature molemen. The humanoid bodies are really just shells created and maintained using the latest and greatest magicks from the necromantic and arcane schools. Each of the shells is operated by an individual Mopag. The first encounter between Mopags and the true humanoid races of Eubric was brief, and occurred before the Mopags discovered how to hone their eyesight through incantations and enchantments for better use in the daylight. The exploratory party of Mopags were quickly chased back underground, before they could really get a good look at the overworld inhabitants. They were terrified to return to the surface for fear of persecution, so they began to develop the shells in the image of the overworlders. Unfortunately, the first batch of shells were designed with from the memories of the initial exploratory party, so certain features weren't replicated quite accurately. But by the time they realized their mistake, they had already introduced themselves to the overworld as Mopagians, in the form with grotesquely large eyes, and so couldn't really go back.

Thus, the Mopags as you know them today.

Ah.

Mopag children like to play war games, and they like to organize themselves into army groups with names suitable for exponentially larger and more important divisions. Then they assign themselves ranks that have no meaning based on various adjectives and give their group a random number to make it sound more important.

Mopag adults are farmers, and other than their physical appearance are no different from your normal humans on Uland.

All Mopags like to speak loudly with lots of interjections. The Mopag written language consists of acronyms rather than words, and the exclamation mark is the only form of punctuation used.

This is the torso and these are the legs.

Hope that I helped.

While this is a thoroughly enlightening conversation, I do have a less serious question.

During combat, because the Berserker is only able to target one enemy until they are defeated, does this mean they may not use an item during said "Berserker" rage? This was kind of my thinking when holding onto a certain item during my present quest since Tensi the Berserker may not be able to use it when we it.
