Yeah! And if it were not for Guts' dance moves, apparantly one of the party members of 39 had to kiss another one, and no one would have liked to see that.

If the rogue is simply generating money from a butterfly, you can explain the rogue found money hidden in the hollow of a tree he stabbed or buried in the dirt that his lunge uncovered.

Then after the battle, could I, a knight, say, "I use my sword that pierces everything to cut down that tree." Logically, I should get gold, because if a rogue just attacked and got gold, gold would be in the tree anyways.

Sadly, all other classes don't have the luck of rogues and will probably seriously injure themselves trying to cut down that tree.

Guts does it sometimes, I remember him doing it in 52, an again in the beginning of 72. In the two quests between those, 58 and 63, it wasn't really neccesary I guess, because the battles weren't too hard.

So yeah, I'll definitely do it, but if you can just power through all the battles regardless, why would you?

That's fair. I'm by no means trying to force all rogues to give out all of their consumables - only so if the party knows they're approaching a different battle and need to be as strong as possible. Boss fights in particular.

Tarn does give out consumables if he thinks people are in trouble. He even used a Phoenix Essence worth 50 gold on an NPC that we were having to babysit, and then got KOed straight afterwards! Because that's the kind of guy he is

No biggie, my sword cuts everything, and I have adequate SP. Along with the hide/dodge ability. And flee.

Flipz has been particularly generous as well. It is better to lead by example than by word - Zakura has shown what a kind and god rogue would do, and those who notice do the same.

I will admit though that my bestowing of consumables tends to be reactive (potions, essences etc) rather than proactive, so that is something I will look at. I did notice Endgame feeding enhancing consumables to Flipz, Nagure and others during Quest#66. The Wolfgang one, so kudos to him for that.

By the way, I just read Benji's change into Beast Warrior in the training room, so his beastly side is a crocodile, that's pretty interesting, I would not have guessed that! Do you have a picture for his Animal form, Flare, or are you just using a standard crocodile?

And a followup question to that, if a Hero is a class associated with a reputation, and they lose that reputation, will they lose the class even if they are it at that moment? I am tempted to say yes because you lose Harlot if you lose that Book thing, but I am not sure.

By the way, I just read Benji's change into Beast Warrior in the training room, so his beastly side is a crocodile, that's pretty interesting, I would not have guessed that! Do you have a picture for his Animal form, Flare, or are you just using a standard crocodile?

Thanks Scuba. I am debating on whether to use a crocodile or a dinosaur for his beast form. I'm also considering the possibility that he will be able to transform into all types of reptiles, but that would only be if he stayed being a beast warrior and becomes adept in the art. I do have an image. To be released when he actually transforms for the first time in public

I guess, you can't lose access to your basic and advanced classes.

Nope. There was only a certain amount in the tree, and the rogue already picked it up. Some bandits stashed their ill-gotten loot there, but the rogue caught on quick. (or, if the QM says you can, sure, but that's just how I'd flavor it.) The ability doesn't have to be nonsensical. Rogues just find/steal money. Maybe that mad-cow they're generating currency from ate a farmer while he was headed off to the market with his bag full of coins. Maybe that ooze monster dissolved a bag of coins from its last meal, but not the coins themselves yet. Perhaps that scary crow picked up a few coins to line its nest and impress its mate with. Maybe that Dinosaur likes shiny objects like the crow and has been guarding a pile of coins like eggs. The possibilities are endless.

And as for all the weird shit that's going on this quest - I hope you leave some of these characters alive, as they all have further things to do! A lot of their actions will be explained and extrapolated upon if they make it through. Some of them are SUPER important, but all of them (barring one) CAN be killed this quest... it will just have a major impact on future Zepher quests.
