Sorry for discounting your healing abilities, CMP! It was very remiss of me.

I almost wish I didn't bring it up. I just dumped half a dozen gems into the Pheles Rod, I don't wanna waste my time healing myself the whole Quest.:blush:

Don't worry about it guys (especially CMP with your new and improved Pheles Rod), I'll gladly have Thalion be a backup healer - using potions/remedies on people when needed.

Don't involve yourself in them period. Let them involve you.

I've responded to this thread since this was written, but I think that this should be carved into stone somewhere.

That is true  Zepher, betcha didn't notice that didya!

I think we've always had an understanding that if you already have certain effects, you're not immune to them. I'll edit it to say all negative effects though, just to be nice.

10 hours of scooping ice cream... I'm sure you'll want to get back ASAP. :classic: Have fun.

Today was split between my two jobs! 4 hours of scooping ice cream, 6 hours of being the single cashier/bag packer at a hopping mexican take-out place. My feet are killing me.

I am nervous but excited, there's so much riding on this! No wonder Tarn's feeling the weight of the world on him, knowing that they failed last time - and it was a cracking team then as well. All we have to do is see what Sandy has tweaked for this Quest compared to #50. Should be very interesting.

I'm very excited to read it, very happy that Tarn is going back and as party leader too. I feel bad that I didn't release Hybros in time, and Boomingham would have liked to go, but this frees me up for BD and Flipz!

Sandy, great job with spliting the discussion and rules topics! It's a sort of thing I've thought about in passing, and it's cool to see in realization.

Also, we passed Page 1138 without any Star Wars references?

Doc, Flipz, I'm shocked! :oh3::grin:

OK, I think I have enough potions now :oh: (I have 8 health cores and 14 grand potions now, I hope its enough!) :sweet:

Yeah I'm really looking forward to this quest. I'm also eager to see how Beast Warrior will work out.

"Where are the others? If you do not go back shortly, you will go back at the wrong time. It will not be the end of the world, but it will cost you time to figure out this mystery, and some of what you implemented here will remain in effect."

That's ridiculous. Are you saying that not every error that occurs during time traveling threatens the very space time continuum?

75ers, I'm going to be away for the next three days, but I should have Internet access. If I can't post in time someone else can control my actions.

QM Note: Drat drat drat. I fixed it, Zepher.

Also, that is the coldest loot distribution I've seen yet. I applaud you. :poke:

I'm a QM too. In comparison to me, you live up to your name of the superhuman computer.

And without ruining anything about my post-quest analysis, this is probably right up there with my very favorite quests.

I just realized, I forgot your Bleeding and +5 Power Bonus that entire last battle. :wall:

Huzzah!

I almost feel as if Boomingham handing Karie the Pixie Dust was intended as an insult.

"I don't like you, here, go and get addicted again."

Then express it in-quest! You may literally be at the end of the quest (heck, it may end today), but the inter-party conflict doesn't just stop.

But, hey, you have Masson with you, so. :look:

Or stay silent. That's the biggest roleplaying lesson I learned this quest. Silence can say so much more than words can.

That too. Boomingham is usually so quick to speak up and really almost never bites his tongue... Seeing him almost silent after Battle 4 was a bit unsettling, but in a very good way. :classic:

Perhaps Dreyrugr should use intimidation. :look:

I was starting to think that as well.

Also, CMP, our weapons are still on the floor of the pub, right?

It works for Hoke! As long as it is narrated properly.

55 gold for a gem, and Alexandre is a rogue. :distressed:

Haldor is too kind. :enough:

In-character, Haldor would not want to charge a friend much more than the selling price of an item simply because they have the potential to be rich. Out of character, it's not a nice thing to do, offer different prices for the class that is buying from you.

Elphaba sold her gems for 100 each. Now she's gone, so the supply of gems has decreased, so the price would go up.

55 is well below selling price.

Yeah, where did we get the 50 Gold benchmark from? I know John Paul mentioned selling back at that price, but I've never heard of anyone selling a gem back to the Marketplace -- there are enough players who want multiple elements to make that unnecessary. 100 Gold's been the standard ever since Elphaba's first appearance.

I kid about the rogue business, because of the way people were saying the rogues get over-charged, but still, I don't think selling a gem for under 100 gold has almost ever been done. 55 has to be the cheapest ever. :look:

Namyrra sold a gem to Elphaba since no one in the hall seemed to want it.
